@avacadooo, it sounds like your 'friend' is quite toxic. I hope you're okay x

Good luck to you guys with upcoming early scans and I hope some of the bleeding and horrid symptoms stop for all. Of you suffering.

Symptom wise for myself things haven't been too bad. My breasts are horrendously tender bad have been since the week before AF was due, so I'm hoping that stops soon.

I'm a night shift worker and asr night/ this morning I was extremely nauseous but I sometimes get that anyway on nights so not sure if it's the start of morning sickness or not. I'm 6 weeks today I believe.

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 18:27

@avacadooo WOW. That's harsh. She doesn't sound like someone very supportive. I would love a friend to be pregnant with. Is she worried about her pregnancy or not overly happy about her own pregnancy? If she is perfectly happy with it all then I would be distancing myself. Pregnancy is hard and you don't need someone making it harder.

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 18:28

I'm so tired. SOOOOOO tired. My baby girl slept great last night and I kept having dodgy nightmares. How early is too early for bed?

What's everyone's due date again?

newmumma2019 · 13/12/2018 18:34

@avacadooo just catching up. Can't believe that. I would say it's a one off reaction and anyone else will be over the moon to hear the fantastic news!!

@ScotsBaby2 due date 3rd August. Have early scan next week so hoping to get some confirmation around that!

CalmerComber · 13/12/2018 18:53

Anytime past 9 is bedtime for me these days! So tired.

@ava that woman is not your friend! What a bitch implying you were faking it!

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 18:56

My favourite time of day! She just loves the bath. Singing, splashing, laughing. So good.

Oh my goodness @ScotsBaby2 I'm totally with you with the tiredness today. It's literally hit me like a tone of bricks. I've been feeling really normal before today. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the medication I started taking. My other new thing today is a mega appetite. I hope that one doesn't last. I'm starting this pregnancy much heavier than my others and I'm very worried because I never lost the baby weight after DD2.

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 19:35

@Ninunina I never lost the weight either. Well I lost it due to months of spewing but then I pilled it all back on after birth. Helpful!

I remember being exhausted the first few weeks on pregnancy last time. Hopefully I stop the weird dreams and can actually sleep.

MummaGiles · 13/12/2018 19:38

Hi! Just joining the group. I’m due 18 August with my second DC.

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 19:59

Also I'm soooooo cold.

QueenofFox · 13/12/2018 20:13

@tri2mum sorry to hear about the clot, really hope you get some answers soon.

I'm feeling so rough have had to go home to bed and supposed to be at a Christmas party, thought of food just makes me want to vomit. Also have a horrid cold. This is a tough time of year to be newly pregnant. Some days I still can't believe it.

I've got booking in appt through for Christmas Eve, I guess if all goes okay at early scan on 21st. It turns out I have to have CVS or amino for hereditary checks as well as the harmony test. I can refuse but feel a bit conflicted about it. My second daughter has a genetic metabolic condition so forewarned is forearmed but still feel conflicted about it. Lots to think about.

avacadooo · 13/12/2018 21:25

@ScotsBaby2 yeah she definitely wants it to the point where she told me she's only with him to have a baby...
The tiredness is unreal tonight😴😴

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 21:43

@tri2mum did they process your referral? Can you phone up EPU yourself if you have anymore?

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 21:44

@avacadooo that's insane! I don't get how or why people do that?

avacadooo · 13/12/2018 21:46

@ScotsBaby2 I know it's crazy right?

ScotsBaby2 · 13/12/2018 21:59

@avacadooo she's obviously super unsure about her decision and offloading it on to you. I would keep my distance until she needed me and try and rely on others close to you

MrsH1990 · 13/12/2018 22:06

Hey guys had a reassurance scan today and she seen the heartbeat after a couple seconds! Me & the Hubby actually sobbed! After the 2MC had this year it was amazing to get to a point we're there was a STRONG heartbeat this early on (6Weeks+1 they measured me and I had 6 weeks+2) but I know that can change at my 12 week scan!
I feel like weight is lifted of my shoulders!!! Xx

Ps @avacadooo as far as friend not being happy for you she's not really a good friend the selfish bitch!
One of my best friends just found out she's pregnant too and we're due round same time and I couldn't be any happier for her and her fella! I'm so happy that we're all going through it together!

Anyway just wanted to share my good news 💓💙🤰 xxxx

avacadooo · 13/12/2018 22:22

@MrsH1990 oh my god congratulations!! That's really good!💕

@ScotsBaby2 she's actually just text me asking why I'm being a bitch 😂 probably cause I've been ignoring all of her chat today, I mean why start drama.

TDLO · 13/12/2018 23:12

Hi, brand new to this forum, hoping I can join this thread. I’m pregnant for the first time. I am 5+1 weeks and been ttc for almost a year. I am very anxious with every little twinge and feeling. But I am just trying to be mindful and think positive and that’s working for the most part. I feel like every day is going so slow on the journey to 12 weeks though...

Something I didn’t expect was how anxious my partner is. He’s calling and texting and checking on me all the time which is lovely, but it’s with a real air of anxiety. He can’t help thinking something is going to go wrong. I totally get how he’s feeling but once I’m done reassuring him and I know what will be will be, the anxiety then eats away at me. I don’t want to tell him he can’t speak to me but I’m not sure how to cope with the level of anxiety. Has anyone had this from their partner, any advice?

Thanks and good luck to everyone, I’ve enjoyed having a read through this thread and can empathise with lots of the symptoms and worries.

bubblegumunicorn · 13/12/2018 23:24

I'm joining I just found out for definite today but my AF was due around 26/11 so I was pretty sure but I kept putting off testing I'm thinking I'm due around the begging of August if I've calculated it right :)

Hey all :)

JenMumma · 14/12/2018 00:08

I've got mine in 5 days when I should be 6 weeks exactly so hope I get the same good news 🤞

Still no real symptoms still does anyone else not have massively tender boobs? Find it really strange as last time at this stage they was very painful xx

KMic · 14/12/2018 07:54

Morning all! And hello to the newbies!! Congratulations!!

Super tired today! Not one part of me wants to get out of bed and go to work!! Little bean is taking it out of me that's for sure.

Out for a family gathering Saturday eve, but already dropped hints I'm on anti biotics so won't be drinking... I think we're safe! Strangely I think they will be easier to fool that my work colleagues who I'm out with on Monday! Confused

MrsH1990 · 14/12/2018 08:21
