@EverythingNow me too I feel exhausted then wen I go to bed my brain goes into overdrive!

@dragonmummy17 how many weeks are you? I keep thinking I should take another digital do think I’ll get one tomorrow!

dragonmummy17 · 07/12/2018 22:21

@Kileah18 I'm somewhere between 5w 5d and 5w 2d depending on where I calculate it. I did a cbd on Monday and it said 2-3 weeks.

Kileah18 · 07/12/2018 22:41

@dragonmummy17 I think I’m 5w 2d or 5w 3d think I’ll get myself a digital tomorrow to relax!

Ninunina · 08/12/2018 07:23

I'm certainly more tired than usual. I slept for 9.5 hours last night, which is most unusual for me. My nausea seems to be stepping up a notch now that I'm 6 weeks. It's still not nearly as bad as when I was pregnant with my two girls. Who believes that you get worse morning sickness when pregnant with girls?

Notanotherpawpatrol · 08/12/2018 07:32

Me! 3 girls and 1 boy and my girls I have definitely been sicker longed. I also got more acne, more swollen, felt more blah with my girls. My son I sailed through glowing and feeling amazing! I am 100% signed up to the old wives tale that says girls take their mum's beauty!

EverythingNow · 08/12/2018 07:57

Not me. Three girls here and no morning sickness with any. I am definitely feeling more sick this time.
The other old wives tale I debunked was the heartburn one - I had horrible heartburn with all 3 from very early on til birth... And all three were completely bald!!! Haha

QueenofFox · 08/12/2018 08:10

Another one here with two girls and no morning sickness, if fact v few symptoms with either except acne and extreme tiredness in first 12 weeks I don't have any symptoms at all now which worries me slightly.

mrsof20118 · 08/12/2018 08:12

@Kileah18 6 + 2 If I go by lmp although early scan would suggest 5 + 5. I was very good at taking temps and ovulation strips so I'm surprised it's the earlier one if it is. I'm not sure how accurate they are so early on at measuring?!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 08/12/2018 08:34

@everything I had hideous heart burn with my first 3 and they had a full head of hair, my 4th was bald and I had barely any with her 🤔 I think it's more to do with genetics though 🤷‍♀️ everyone's different!

Whoopsies · 08/12/2018 10:03

Morning ladies. Hope you're all feeling well. I'm ok, been suffering with awful anxiety this week. I'm not usual like that, but it's been creeping slowly in. Trying to get my head into a better space today.
I'm not feeling many symptoms, I thought the nausea had started last weekend, but then my ds was ill and I think I might have just had whatever he did. Still exhausted all the time though!!

dragonmummy17 · 08/12/2018 13:50

@Whoopsies sorry you are feeling anxious. How many weeks are you? I'm not feeling many symptoms and I think I was over 6 weeks before I felt much last time too
I get really anxious too... I think because it's so much out of my control!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 08/12/2018 14:52

Usually I get an early reassurance scan, but I moved house and apparently they don't do that in this area 😒 I've had 6 previous miscarriages and although this is baby number 5, I'm still really anxious 🙈 anyone know where to start looking for a place that does them privately?

EverythingNow · 08/12/2018 15:04

@notanotherpawpatrol I just googled early scans near me.
There were a couple of companies and also a private Dr. I went for that one as there was lots of info on her website about her credentials and also inspection report was good. Subsequently found out our maternity hospital also offers private scans.

UnicornDust17 · 08/12/2018 15:53

@Notanotherpawpatrol i just googled baby scans near me and it came up with some options, checked out the reviews and went with the one that had the best reviews that was closest (and not too expensive)

good luck!

Ninunina · 08/12/2018 16:05

I'm a little worried today, I've had the slightest bit of brown discharge this afternoon. Not a lot but enough to make me uneasy. I had a mc at 6 weeks once that started the same way, but also had similar with DD1 at 9 weeks and that turned out ok.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

EverythingNow · 08/12/2018 16:07

@ninunina hope you're ok. Xx

tri2mum · 08/12/2018 16:13

Hi all, new to this. Got our BFP last Monday, not been TTC long so come as a shock. Been feeling pretty anxious since, I run quite a lot so worried I may be doing some harm although I’ve been told it should be fine. Booked in to see midwife on Tuesday but not sure if that’s too early as think I’m about 4-5 weeks.

dragonmummy17 · 08/12/2018 16:49

@Ninunina hope everything is ok.
@tri2mum Hello and congratulations on your BFP

KMic · 08/12/2018 18:38

Hey guys, am I able to join? Just found out today! Will be 5 weeks on Monday!

KMic · 08/12/2018 18:41

Oo I see I don't need to ask! 🤣

Will be 5 weeks on Monday. Everyone told me it would take ages to conceive so we started trying and fell the first month!! Exciting but scary times! Any advice?! Have booked an apt with the GP and started taking folic acid ...

SenoraSurf · 08/12/2018 18:57

@KMic congrats! Enjoy not feeling like absolute crap whilst it lasts I'm so grumpy this nausea sucks

Chocolate89 · 08/12/2018 19:03

@unicorndust ah that's amazing!! Fantastic news for you!!
@ninunina I think brown discharge is very normal! I wouldn't be stressing about that hun!
Welcome to everyone who has just joined, delighted to be on this journey with you! Hopefully were will all be wishing each other congratulations again in 8 months time!
So I think i successfully got away with not drinking at my work Xmas party last night, i stuck to tonic water in a gin glass and just bought my own! The one girl who did cop on was fairly awful though, when she asked how far along I was and i said 6 weeks she laughed and said "god you hardly pregnant at all"... if only she knew how hard it can be to get to 6 weeks!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 08/12/2018 19:40

@ninunina, remember brown blood is old blood so may believe been there since your last period and wiggled it's way out or could be a small implantation bleed that's just made it's way out now. Try not to stress too much unless it turns red or there is lots of it, I wouldn't worry for now.

Notanotherpawpatrol · 08/12/2018 19:42

@KMic congratulations! In most areas you actually don't need to see your gp. They won't do anything other than tell you to phone the midwives! Phone your surgery and ask if it's self referral, then just make a booking in appointment. There's nothing the gp will tell you that the midwives will anyway :)

Notanotherpawpatrol · 08/12/2018 19:44

@chocolate99 I'm sorry she was so horrid. That's really nasty. 6 weeks is actually a HUGE achievement 1/3 of pregnancies end in miscarriage that was really unfair of her. Congratulations on mostly pulling off the non drinking. Its at times like this I am glad I'm t-total anyway! No one suspects a thing! 😂
