Had so much cm today. Don't think I have ever checked my knickers as much than I have the past two weeks. Hoping this worry goes away when I get to 12 weeks

dragonmummy17 · 02/12/2018 21:27

@Kileah18 glad you are feeling reassured but ouch that sounds painful
Weirdly after my spotting this morning I've had no cm at all since. I hate this anxious feeling... it's making me feel very stressed! No more spotting though so that must be a good sign

What apps are you all using?

milly2000 · 02/12/2018 22:23

@dragonmummy17 I'm flicking between 3 apps at the moment. Not sure which one I really like yet.

Pregnancy+
Baby centre
Ovia Pregnancy

Let me know if you find any you like cause I'm not sold on any of these yet

Kileah18 · 02/12/2018 22:51

Thank you @dragonmummy17 glad I’m off Mondays so will be doing absolutely nothing tomorrow 😊.

@milly2000 these are the exact same apps I use too!

Whoopsies · 03/12/2018 09:13

Latest pregnancy symptom prompted dh to declare this morning "geez, what's going on with the size of your nipples?!" Yep, they are huge! Fortunately a symptom easily hidden from everyone else 😂😂😂

milly2000 · 03/12/2018 09:23

@Whoopsies hahaha what a laugh. Mine are fine at the moment my boobs aren't even a little bit sore. I have one very sensitive nipple that's about it.

milly2000 · 03/12/2018 09:25

I have my first GP appointment today. Bit nervous actually. I know I'm going to have to go through what happened regarding the molar pregnancy last year and everything. Hoping it's a nice understanding doctor.
I have a list of stuff to ask him, he's gunna think I'm mad

UnicornDust17 · 03/12/2018 10:07

@milly2000 good luck with your drs appointment today, I hope it goes well and isn't too tough for you.

@Kileah18 how are you feeling today? I hope you're not too bruised. How scary.

How are you doing today @dragonmummy17?

it's reassuring to read some of your symptoms , I don't have many but have been having quite a few tummy cramps which I didn't have with any of my 3 mcs, so I feel slightly reassured by this.

I've not told anyone else yet, not even my DP, he's having a really stessful time at the moment and I don't want to add to his stress at the moment (ultimately he will be very happy - if this one sticks)
@Ninunina how's your DP doing now?

My Drs appointment is Friday but think I might see if I can get an earlier one.

Happy Monday everyone!

UnicornDust17 · 03/12/2018 10:09

And hello and congratulations to everyone who has recently joined with a BFP. I've not caught up on all the thread posts yet. Flowers

sunshine1987 · 03/12/2018 11:22

@unicornsust17 that must be tough not having him to share it with at the moment. I’ve told our parents and my best friend, as needed someone to ask if things are normal lol x

Kileah18 · 03/12/2018 12:27

Hey everyone I’m fine today @UnicornDust17 just a few big bruises and feel like I did a big work out in the gym! More muscle soreness than anything!

TMI but I seem to have bad Diarrhea today Blush & feeling quite nauseous!

@milly2000 good luck with your doctors appointment today! Let us know how u get on x

clairelee17 · 03/12/2018 12:27

Hi all,

Just found out I'm pregnant over the weekend. Nearly 5 weeks. Really anxious this time as I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks back in September, so feeling very nervous. However, feeling a bit dizzy with headaches and can tell something is going on in my uterus! Lol. Just really hoping it sticks this time. Off to the GPs this morning to let them know, fingers crossed! xx

Ninunina · 03/12/2018 12:58

@UnicornDust17 he seems somewhat better and we had a good chat. I understand a lot of where his is coming from, but I think he will be ok. He has started a new managerial position today (still the same company) and knows he is going to be very busy and very stressed. He will also be traveling a lot. He was already worried that he won't be too available for me and the girls. He is scared that the pregnancy will be too high risk (I had quite a high risk pregnancy last time and I know things might get complicated again this time). Basically he is looking at all the what if's and none of the joy. Deep down he is a huge softy so he will come round. He is a really great dad so I know he will be ok.

Thank you for asking. When are you planning on telling DH?

sunshine1987 · 03/12/2018 13:23

Welcome @clairelee17 xx

clairelee17 · 03/12/2018 13:41

Thank you @sunshine1987 Smile

UnicornDust17 · 03/12/2018 13:55

Hello @clairelee17 and congrats! Sending sticky thoughts your way Smile

@Ninunina no clue! Probably at some point this week. I can't change my doctors appointment, so am stuck with Friday. I also had a tricky pg with my first.

Thanks @sunshine1987, just glad there's this thread and all these posts Grin taking my mind of everything else.

milly2000 · 03/12/2018 16:37

So I had my first doctors appointment. It's made it feel very real now!

I have a 6 weeks scan in a couple of weeks to make sure everything is okay which is good and it's given me something to aim for.

I have a blood test tomorrow as I'm on 5mg of folic acid and b12 jabs and they want to make sure I'm not getting to much of each vitamin. It means I can't take my pregnancy vitamins though at the moment.

Also been booked in for a flu jab tomorrow. Has anyone else had one?

Crossfitgirl · 03/12/2018 18:03

Thanks @milly2000 might have a look at that! I've already had my flu jab as I work in the NHS. It's good to have it when pregnant! Sorry if you've already said - is there a reason for the early scan?
Congratulations @clairelee17 :-)

I went past mama's and papas on my way home and decided to go in... had a browse of cots, prams, Moses baskets etc... I'm not sure I'll look at any more baby stuff though... it's too early. I just looked and thought oh well best not think about it yet just in case.

EverythingNow · 03/12/2018 18:04

@milly2000, I had my flu jab in October before I fell pregnant.

I'm 5wks today my main symptoms are swollen boobs, ridiculously sensitive nipples and some cramping and nausea. Really early for this stuff!

I've booked a scan for 8+3!

milly2000 · 03/12/2018 18:08

@EverythingNow I'm 4 weeks and seem to just have one very sensitive nipple. But I'm making the most of the limit symptoms cause I think it's going to hit hard when it does.

@Crossfitgirl yes I had a molar pregnancy so it's to rule out other and I think the doctor knows how that's on my mind so it can give me a bit of peace of mind.

I've had to try any stay away from any baby sections in shops just in case it's not meant to be. But it's hard!

Whoopsies · 03/12/2018 19:11

@milly2000 that must have been very difficult. I'm glad the doctor was understanding and hopefully the early scan can put your mind at ease. My scan is in 2 weeks, 3 days and I can't wait to know everything is ok.

I have been feeling so sick all day and threw up my tea after I'd eaten (my fault, I was starving and literally inhaled it!!) I wasn't ever sick with my first pg and never had the nausea this early on!!

Whoopsies · 03/12/2018 19:11

And welcome to @clairelee17

mrsof20118 · 03/12/2018 19:34

Glad it went ok @milly2000 and great news you will have an early scan.

Still no sickness here. Boobs have got so much more sore this evening though.
I read somewhere that if you take b6 for a while before you conceive it can reduce morning sickness, not sure if anyone else has heard this or whether it's true?

Ninunina · 03/12/2018 20:20

I just booked my first appointment and scan with the gyne for the 27th Dec. I was hoping for an appointment before Christmas but they only accept appointments after 8 weeks.
I'm a feeling a bit off this evening, I'm a bit crampy and worrying that I'm feeling too good to be pregnant. I was so unwell with the girls. I'm only lightly nauseated now (mainly during the night). I think I'll buy another CB digital tomorrow to make sure the weeks are going up.

IrishCypriot · 03/12/2018 20:49

Got my scan date through - 18th and I'll be 7+3, hoping it's not too early for a heartbeat!

Was offered 6+3 scan on 11th but DH is away so had to reschedule.

Hope symptoms aren't too bad for you all, I'm sick as a dog!
