Ok, Strange post alert!

Has anyone else developed quite a hairy belly? Not like thick hair as I'm blonde anyway, but a lot of fuzzy hair! I'm not sure it's that much different and have only noticed as I'm looking at my belly a lot more than usual. But DH assures me it wasn't like that before!! Really weird!

EL332 · 12/09/2018 19:23

@shallen me!

My belly is now also quite hairy with fine hair and it's covering quite a lot of my belly! I looked into it and apparently it will disappear again after birth!

@EL332 glad it's not just me!! It's like a massive fuzzy peach! Was debating immac-Ing my entire belly! Probably not a good idea.

orangejuicer · 12/09/2018 21:34

gooner same as me Grin

another emma hmmmm, yes, well. It was ok, there were 5 of us in a group session answering stupid questions like 'what foods are carbohydrates etc. We all have to start testing blood sugar and work on diet then go back next week for growth scan and consultant appt. (I had one booked for Tuesday but they made us re-schedule Hmm).

Anyway all ok but will see what happens next week. They won't let us go over EDD so I might end up being induced or having a c section.

Italianshark · 13/09/2018 09:31

@shallen Meeeeeeeeeeee. Literally last night I said to my OH - "Look I think I'm getting that brown line along my belly" and he went "no babe you've got a snail trail".

Yay! Blush

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/09/2018 09:49

Just had a call from GP, apparently I'm anaemic. And there was me thinking I felt pretty good! 😂

hammeringinmyhead · 13/09/2018 10:28

I've had a hairy belly for weeks, and someone told me I was having a boy because of it. They were right, but I guess it is 50/50.

Sorry to hear that Another... Now what? Tablets?

dw23 · 13/09/2018 13:57

Thanks @Kt2108 for the heads up, that does all sound very relaxed but it's nice to know what you're going into.

My belly has also gone pretty hairy but was a bit anyways as I'm olive skinned and my snail trail is now from my pubic bone up to under my breasts Shock, again a darker skin side effect I think.

Also, my milk is coming in, I noticed my chest was super veiny so I had little squeeze and sure enough some came out, I don't know why but it made me hugely emotional to see it. For one reason or another, I never thought I'd have children and I'm finding everything about the process so special.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/09/2018 14:20

For now, yes @hammeringinmyhead. Apparently my hb is very low but because I'm so well, try tablets initially.

BrewsD · 13/09/2018 14:53

Sorry this might be tmi but does anyone else feel really sweaty?! I've never been a hot person, if anything I feel the cold more. But the last couple weeks I am constantly sweating. So gross

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/09/2018 15:01

Pregnancy raises your body temperature by about 1C @BrewsD. It doesn't sound a lot but in temperature terms, it's a reasonable difference!

shallen · 13/09/2018 21:12

@dw23 I don't have a snail trail yet, but I'm mega pale, so I may not get one.

@BrewsD Yes I'm really warm, we have aircon wars in our office and it's often really cold, all my team are wrapped up in woolly ponchos (yes it can be that cold) and I'm sat in a t shirt, roasting!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/09/2018 09:58

My team have set off to do the fundraising challenge that I set up and so desperately wanted to do. Can't help but feel a little sad and left behind!!

Liz3891 · 14/09/2018 11:09

I'm also perpetually cold and noticing that I'm actually comfortable/warm most of the time now. It's been a pleasant change!

Emma198 · 14/09/2018 14:04

I'm always warm normally so I'm constantly uncomfortably hot. I'm a sweaty mess.

shallen · 14/09/2018 14:37

Company day out today, destination was a surprise....... turned out to be Thorpe Park!
Guess me and the other 2 pregnant people will just wander round then and hold bags!

julzx · 14/09/2018 19:41

Hi all, also due in november and new to mumsnet 🙈 found myself on here more and more as d-day is approaching so thought id say hello instead of creeping lol first time mum i feel im becoming a bit obsessive reading every story, please tell me this is normal.. im so glad no one can see my google search history they'd think im mental 😂😂

orangejuicer · 14/09/2018 22:02

Welcome julzx. When is your due date?

I've had some light twinges down my left side today which I think might be round ligament pain. Anybody got this? Baba has been investigating new positions today so bladder pressure has been fun.

Melaniesunflower · 14/09/2018 22:14

Orangejucer, last night I had the lovely experience of baby pushing off rib cage, and pressing bladder all at the same time!

orangejuicer · 14/09/2018 23:02

Aw that can't have been fun Grin

Melaniesunflower · 15/09/2018 11:11

It wasn't really.....

AnotherOriginalUsername · 15/09/2018 14:02

julzx · 15/09/2018 14:12

Hi orangnejuicer, im 30 weeks today actually its getting close! my problem is the pressure pain down below when i get up of my chair to walk im half waddling.. Packed mine and my boys bag the other night on the back of repeated dreams of him being born, last of which he was handed to me in a picnic blanket and looked a bit like an alien 😂😂😂 i hope everyone is keeping well xx

orangejuicer · 15/09/2018 16:44

Oh my, gravity! I know it well. Well done on packing, we're nowhere near that yet.

Sorry another Flowers hope you've managed to keep yourself distracted.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 15/09/2018 17:07

@orangejuicer I've been getting much abuse via WhatsApp 😂
