I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

That’s rotten luck @hidcat I hope it settles down for you over the next few weeks. How are you feeling otherwise symptom wise?

I’ve been getting nauseas / off my food, but just had a bacon sarnie and OMG, best thing ever! That may have to be my entire pregnancy diet! 😂

HidCat · 05/07/2018 11:18

@puravida31 Nausea and feeling very warm today. Trying to not rush around too much. Registered with the midwife. Feels very real now!

kirstblxo · 05/07/2018 11:33

due on the 1st march (we think so far) got my BFP only a week after conception! very very early but tests have gotten stronger each time! my birthday is on the 2nd march so may be a birthday present to myself Smile

HidCat · 05/07/2018 12:36

@kirstblxo congratulations and welcome to the group!

frankiefumbles · 05/07/2018 12:57

Welcome @kirstblxo , how did you manage to make it so far without coming on mumsnet 😁 congratulations!

kirstblxo · 05/07/2018 14:02

thanks girls and congrats to you all too Smile

@frankiefumbles its been a very busy 3 weeks already since i found out. as i am being looked after by fetal medicine with this pregnancy due to losing my daughter only 5 months ago to anencephaly ( neural tube defect ). so i have 3 scans booked in already and 2 midwife appointments all before 12 weeks! so its crazy! im very nervous this time around about something going wrong so i guess i have kind of just been a bit holding back on thinking about being pregnant but now im like to hell with it... im enjoying this no matter what happens!!

how is everyone, any good strong symptoms yet? nausea? cause honestly my nipples are killer i cant even wear a bra!!

kirstblxo · 05/07/2018 14:04

also i have to admit im a newbie to mumsnet Blush thought i would try it out x

frankiefumbles · 05/07/2018 15:01

@kirstblxo oh bless you, what a tough time you'd had. So sorry to hear it. I'm not sure what to say really. Everything crossed for you :) sounds like you are being well looked after!

I had awful symptoms until two days ago but now somewhat worryingly it has all disappeared. Feels ominous but there isn't a lot one can do but sit tight and wait. Wondering if I could ask Dr to do bloods to see if hcg still rising normally. Still not beyond the point I miscarried it last time so I guess I'm admittedly a bit paranoid.

ladycarlotta · 05/07/2018 15:30

@kirstblxo welcome and congratulations! I'm so sorry about your daughter; I hope this pregnancy is full of kindness, joy and healing.

@frankiefumbles telling you what I routinely refuse to accept myself; that symptoms come and go, good days and bad days, etc etc etc. It won't stop you fretting but it's something.

I haven't felt very nauseous today (cue worry), but have been super tired, and I swear my nipples are HOT? My poor boobs are so massive and sore. Sometimes I feel voluptuous and sexy, most of the time I feel vast and sweaty and like I'll kill anyone who touches me.

It was actually quite good having the in-laws here because MIL kept asking me how I felt/did I need anything/perhaps I should have a lie down. It seemed to make DP realise I'm not just being a moaner, and maybe early pregnancy really is tiring and sicky.

HidCat · 05/07/2018 15:45

@kirstblxo so sorry to hear about your little one. Make the most of the extra care, I'm sure everything will go well this time. We're all here if you're ever feels big anxious. Congratulations on the new pregnancy.

frankiefumbles · 05/07/2018 15:50

@ladycarlotta thanks. I like the fact that MIL has legitimised nap time! Don't tell anyone (!) but the only answer I have found to the boobs is to soak in a bowl of very cold water. Takes the itch away too. I feel like an oddball admitting that but it's what I did when I was a teen and they grew suddenly.

ShowerTheHorse · 05/07/2018 20:48

Hi all! Can I join?

I'm due on the 5th March I think. Feeling so very exhausted today and my boobs are killing!

kirstblxo · 05/07/2018 21:07

you never know you might just be having a break and then boom they will hit back! that happened to me at 9 weeks pregnant last time. disapeared for 2 days and then hit back even worse!

pregnancy has so many ways of playing with your mind. our babies arent even here yet and are as small as a sweetpea and they have us worried sick! the joys Smile

kirstblxo · 05/07/2018 21:09

hi @ShowerTheHorse

and congratulations on your pregnancy!!! Smile

frankiefumbles · 06/07/2018 06:51

@kirstblxo there are more of us on the other thread in antenatal clubs. Quite a lot of ladies already have children on that thread and everyone has done a little intro which gives a bit of info on age location etc which is quite nice. This is my first. I have got a practice baby though...my dog ;)

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 06/07/2018 16:40

Lovely to see a few familiar names on here!!

Eeeekkk wanted to jump aboard this bus 🚌 as I got my BFP this morning!!! I think I'm roughly 10/11DPO 🙊

Congratulations to you all, and a happy, healthy pregnancy 🤰🏻 🎉😘

frankiefumbles · 06/07/2018 17:08

@SunshineAndRainbows6 congratulations!!!! I love the arrivals of new BFPs 😀

HidCat · 06/07/2018 18:22

@SunshineAndRainbows6 welcome to the other side! How are you feeling?

PurpleFlower1983 · 06/07/2018 18:44

Has anyone had any sickness yet? I haven’t and I’m worried it’s a bad sign! Felt a bit nauseous after food but nothing major.

frankiefumbles · 06/07/2018 18:59

@PurpleFlower1983 I felt horribly nauseous from about three days before my period was due until maybe three days ago. That was over a week. Now it's subsided and I've just got very sore nipples and a severe case of couch potato. I think it's normal to have a variety of symptoms (including an absence of symptoms), even quite early on. I thought when I lost the nausea maybe poppyseed had also pegged it, but it seems it's still lodged in there. Everyone will get a different mix 😊 you are probably absolutely fine. If you do get nausea in a few days you will look back fondly to the days before! It is nice to have clear cut symptoms though just so you can have a bit more confidence it's still in there

TheWanderlust · 06/07/2018 19:12

Congratulations @SunshineAndRainbows6

Kittymumma · 06/07/2018 19:19

I've been reading lots of info on early pregnancy and not everyone gets sickness but if you do it usually starts around week 6.

I'm 5 weeks and hot... bothered... over tired with huge boobs and sore nips lol.

I just wana buy baby things as well 😂😍

TheWanderlust · 06/07/2018 19:26

@Kittymumma I'm 5+2 (we think) and I've caught the SO sneaking looks at all kinds of baby bits already 😅 trying to slow him down a bit without making him feel like I'm not excited too. Managed to get him to agree on bedroom and buggy 🙈

PurpleFlower1983 · 06/07/2018 19:37

My nipples are sore, I can’t get full and I’m knackered so I’m hoping that’s a good sign!

TheWanderlust · 06/07/2018 19:41

@PurpleFlower1983 they're all sounding like pretty good symptoms,, I say good... I mean they're not enjoyable by ya know! 😅
