Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

@pandacat
Huge congratulations to you and your family. A lovely new chapter begins.
Xx

Burstingwithlife · 17/02/2018 03:34

How are all you ladies bearing up? It does half drag towards the end doesn’t it. My pregnancy insomnia has come back with a vengeance ! So much for stocking up on sleep before the arrival.
Is anyone else feeling really emotional suddenly. I keep bursting into tears, and I’m not even sad. It’s bizarre. My dh must think I’m a nutter Hmm
It’s so unlike me and so misplaced. Bloody hormones. That’s it, I coming back as a man!!! Xxx yikes, still haven’t packed.
After my last labour and bubble blowing out of my bottom in the birthing pool, I think I’ll be packing a cork this time Grin
Need to sort music. Dh was in charge last time and I remember ‘my sex is on fire’ blaring out. The midwife almost choked on her tongue laughing so much!! Xx

Mugglenet · 17/02/2018 04:11

@burstingwithlife that made me giggle. That's the bits you don't hear about water births lol.
I need. My sleep and I'm don't function very well withoutit. I just feel very moany at the minute. Glad I'm not the only one with all thus fluid.

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 17/02/2018 08:20

Oh my gosh congrats Panda! prays for similar 3 hour birth

Doing ok here thanks! Fell over yesterday at a play park (just onto that kiddy bark stuff they put down) but my knee is sore and swollen. I'm fine but wow it was undignified...! I'm even slower at walking and standing up now, like an oversized walrus! Hoping it feels better before I go into labour or I'll be hobbling into the hospital!

Everything is ready, bag packed etc. I've even set up the Chicco Next 2 Me which felt surreal. We're doing a bit of painting in the hallway which I'm desperate to finish before the baby comes. Top of the to do list this weekend! Anyone else doing any decorating before B-day? Hope all are feeling okay.

Burstingwithlife · 17/02/2018 08:43

@tiffanyatbreakfast
Yep, I’ve had my dhbup a ladder decorating the living room, them the stairs, bedroom etc. Poor guy. I do feel guilty but the desire to have it all done is compelling x

sammy891 · 17/02/2018 09:09

@pandacat congratulations!! So exciting to hear the first baby on here has arrived. Hope you and baby are both doing well and enjoy this special time Flowers

HazyDays81 · 17/02/2018 10:00

Also in the middle of decorating our hall. All of a sudden things that have waited years I want done before the baby arrives! DH has man flu so I don’t think much will get done this weekend. Must finish packing my hospital bag tho...

Lavenderdays · 17/02/2018 10:10

Hazy...I have just posted an epic post about ferocious nesting here on the pregnancy forum, along the same lines as your post. Likewise; things that I have tolerated for years are now suddenly unbearable and have to be done NOW (no chance of that happening).

PandaCat · 17/02/2018 13:16

Thank you everyone! Everything is going well so far Smile

1stX · 17/02/2018 15:01

*@potteryprincess30

@1stX I feel like your due in like a few weeks now from looking back to your posts? How are things? are you still having physio?*

Sorry I dropped off of the radar. Baby isn’t due until March but I had him 3 weeks ago!

It was a bit dramatic, his growth was tailing off and kept having decelerations in his heartbeat so I had to have an emergency c section 6 weeks early. He struggled at first and needed some help breathing in scbu but we came home after a week.

He’s doing great now and is keeping me up all night Confused

Sleep whilst you can ladies!

How everyone is well x

Potteryprincess30 · 17/02/2018 15:11

@1stX congratulations! Glad everything is ok now and he's home and out of the woods. That is really early, you must have been fairly shaken and scared following your c section. It's great news he's safe and well after coming out at 34 weeks, and you had a January baby then in the end Smile

Thank you for letting us all know, I thought it was time to do a little housekeeping and just check in with some posters we hadn't heard from in a while (kind of started to assume some babies had arrived early).

All the best to you guys

@Vickylou78 glad all ok, except the obvious pregnancy discomforts! The next three weeks are going to fly by now Smile

@TiffanyAtBreakfast hope your managing to put your feet up today, after falling over you must be like 'i'm done with this now people!'. Glad your ok and at least your totally organised. I re painted the bathroom a few weeks ago and am planning on the living room next, though I may make it a project after the birth for my partner as he's taking nearly 7 weeks off after I have the baby. May help him with not getting cabin fever.

So we have 2 lovely babies to celebrate, one born in a few minutes Grin and one born in January Grin. Labour certainly is unpredictable!

@1stX Congratulations!! Hope you and baby are settling in well at home. It must have been quite surprising having your little one so early on. Great to hear all is well Smile

1stX · 17/02/2018 18:42

Thanks guys. It was scary at the time and wasn’t quite what I had in mind but it has all worked out ok.

Don’t be scared ladies. The drs and midwives were amazing and will get you through. Not long know and you’ll all be holding your little ones xx

flowa79 · 17/02/2018 19:34

Potteryprincess30 · 17/02/2018 19:41

Hi all, can I join in? I’m due DC2 on 9th March, with DD recently turned 3. Feeling enormous, sore and exhausted, like everyone else! Insomnia is back with a vengeance, worsened by toddler early waking. Midwife thinks I’ll go early as baby’s head is well engaged and measuring big. Had a super fast labour last time (5 hours from first contraction to delivery) so going to be high-tailing it to the hospital at the first sign of anything.

Potteryprincess30 · 17/02/2018 20:27

@chiruri Welcome fellow March (or potentially February) Baby mama Smile

Wishing you the very best @flowa79
Later on today you’ll be holding your gorgeous baby. X

flowa79 · 18/02/2018 05:26

Cant wait :) another 3hrs to go b4 meeting him ☺

TheMrs04 · 18/02/2018 08:06

eek it's coming ever closer! I love seeing posts of people who have had their babies already!!

We currently have my mil in hospital at the moment (not looking too good) had a 240 mile round trip to visit her in the ICU yesterday that was heartbreaking to see! My poor dh almost lost it! I ended up taking all my bags with me for a just in case emergency! But thankfully didn't need them!
We're off to pick ds up from my mums this morning where he has been spoilt rotten and to have a late xmas dinner with my stepdad who has returned from working abroad for a few weeks (he missed xmas with us all)

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!!

TheMrs04 · 18/02/2018 08:07

Good luck @flowa79 xx

Potteryprincess30 · 18/02/2018 13:49

@chiruri how are you feeling today? I've been feeling very odd since I woke up, baby moving more then usual and belly feels much heavier then normal, queasy all morning too (though strong coffee did not help).

Hard to know whether this is just the next phase of pregnancy or an actual sign of things to come. 38 weeks Tuesday so still pretty early, probably just the conditions of being a whale and flooded with hormones tbh.

Hope your feeling a bit better today Smile
