Currently 38 weeks pregnant today and cannot wait to meet my little boy! I'm feeling so impatient. I've tried to help bring on labour but nothing seems to be working! I've tried bouncing on my birthing ball, sex, evening primrose oil etc.. also been losing my plug over the past two weeks but haven't had a bloody show. Anyone in the same boat as me?? Would love to hear how everybody's pregnancies are going!

Full pineapple has just been consumed. If that doesn't do the trick I give up!!

glitterglitters · 26/06/2017 01:11

Jesus! If I lose any more plug I will go mad. I know it can regenerate but my god something happen now. Please?!

AnaMaria88 · 26/06/2017 01:13

I am joining this thread... 39+6 and no signsConfused I just want this baby out more than anything now!!!

glitterglitters · 26/06/2017 01:17

Oh @AnaMaria88 definite solidarity with you there Flowers

AnaMaria88 · 26/06/2017 01:20

@glittersglitters any more pains? I am dying in here with severe heartburns and also baby kicks so low like he is pushing to make his way out but still no contractions Confused

TwinkleStars15 · 26/06/2017 01:30

She's here Smile Contractions started at about 1pm, got to every 3-4 mins quite quickly so headed to the hospital at 5.30pm. Was examined straight away and I was 4cm so kept in and got in the pool, she was born 2 hours later! The first midwife didn't believe me when I told her I needed to push an hour after being examined, but she was in a hurry lol xx

AnaMaria88 · 26/06/2017 01:42

Congratulations!!! Hope u are both well!!!

glitterglitters · 26/06/2017 01:56

Yayyyyy!! Congratulations!

All that annoying bh and cramping came in useful in the end Flowers

Grin
glitterglitters · 26/06/2017 01:58

And not so much @AnaMaria88. I keep getting cramp/contraction pains in the night and then fall asleep and they ease off.

AnaMaria88 · 26/06/2017 02:03

For how long you have them? With my first I had the same for 3 nights or so, the 4th day they didnt stopped anymore, regular but not very painfull and my dd came after 4 hours from getting to hospital! But I was 40+5 and already had a sweep at that time

glitterglitters · 26/06/2017 02:08

On an off since 36+5. I'm 39 weeks today.

Second baby (first came at
41+2). I think I've got some environmental factors getting in the way though. Screaming toddlers tend to set your adrenaline going 🙈

deb1407 · 26/06/2017 05:28

Congratulations @TwinkleStars15

39+1, been awake since 4am & doesn't look like sleep is on the agenda ... the wait continues!

AnaMaria88 · 26/06/2017 10:19

The good thing in all this is that I have a good night sleep... Once I fall asleep 😁
Send u all lots of love and hope that this week will come with some babies Flowers

DinoMania · 26/06/2017 19:37

Congratulations to those with their little babies now! Flowers Hope all is going well x

I'm hoping mine is on it's way soon, been getting stronger back aches today! Fingers crossed this will move onto something more!!

Zofloralover1 · 26/06/2017 21:29

Congrats @twinklestars15 !!
I also had my little boy at 3.17am this morning.. 4 hours of labour and 30 minutes of pushing. Got to the hospital at 2am at 8cm dilated and he was here an hour and 17 minutes later. I'm so in love it's unreal, currently sat in the bath crying my eyes out because I'm so emotional and so proud while my partner looks after little man💙

deb1407 · 26/06/2017 22:58

Congratulations @Zofloralover1 wonderful news!

Just back from an all day stop in the hospital due to reduced movement & headache!

Was given a sweep and booked in for induction on Wednesday night Blush

TwinkleStars15 · 26/06/2017 23:00

Wow 8cm when you got there, amazing! Congratulations zoflora Flowers

Think this is the lucky thread for quick labours haha xx

Zofloralover1 · 27/06/2017 05:02

All I've done since last night is cry and cry, I've woke up this morning and I'm sat here in uncontrollable hysterical tears because how much I love my son and my partner and how complete I feel. Yesterday was the best day of my life and I can't stop thinking about every little moment and how sad I feel that yesterday is now over but I'm so so happy he's now here, I just feel so proud and so in love. I feel so silly because I'm literally in bursts of tears because of how in love I am?? Please someone tell me that the crying will start to stop

glitterglitters · 27/06/2017 07:41

Awww this thread is making me so happy! Congratulations @Zofloralover1

Eeek nightmare @deb1407 but hopefully things will get going now.

Woke up with contractions at about 4am again but they've died off again.

The wait continues Grin

deb1407 · 27/06/2017 07:58

@Zofloralover1 I'm crying for you just reading your posts. Emotions are so high right now!

@glitterglitters - induction scares me but they are going to do 3 sets of pessary before even considering drip & when she gave me a sweep last night she said the cervix was already thinning out, so hopefully that's enough to get me going! I had terrible cramps until 2am this morning but they've died off again. Got lots to do now though!! So il be kept occupied!

glitterglitters · 27/06/2017 08:03

@deb1407 yeah I'm the same. Though lots of people I've spoken to have said that it's not been so bad when the cervix is already thinned etc and ends up being quite quick

Zofloralover1 · 27/06/2017 08:18

I can't even look at my baby boy or talk to my partner about him without bursting into tears, don't know whether if it's because I've had around 4 hours sleep since Saturday night or whether I'm feeling the baby blues, I'm definitely not feeling depressed, I'm crying because I'm so happy and so in love! Hoping the crying will stop soon xx

glitterglitters · 27/06/2017 09:01

lol don't worry @Zofloralover1 it's hormones. It'll ease off :)

AnaMaria88 · 27/06/2017 13:04

40w today and feeling depressedSad

glitterglitters · 27/06/2017 14:10
