Kittenrush · 09/11/2016 17:14

Ahhhh I can't believe it! So exciting! No one should have to make 41 weeks and for you even longer! Poor us! Eep hope they get you in nice and quick, best of luck!
Thank you mrslen :) hope you're feeling okay today! Xx

Gabby786 · 09/11/2016 17:23

I know! I'll be 13 days late come tomorrow :-/ I'm hoping this doesn't mean she'll be absolutely massive lol.

LolaStarr · 09/11/2016 18:09

Chuckaluck · 09/11/2016 19:22

Good luck both! I am a tiny bit jealous but hoping that I can use the next 3/4 days to get baby to come of his own accord!! Update us when u can!

Gabby786 · 09/11/2016 19:38

Yeah my midwife said she'd be surprised if I was having a big baby lol. And yes I will update the thread as soon as I can!!!! I'm so excited but stupidly nervous too.

Looks like I'm joining your club.

40+1 and both previous babies have been full term but early.

Had a sweep yesterday and been losing plug throughout today but nothing to indicate labour yet.

Argh

Baz13 · 10/11/2016 10:01

Hi Gabby, I haven't posted on here in a while, due to being induced and then having an emergency c-section.

I see your LO has kept you waiting and today is your induction - good luck, hope all goes well for you and we hear the good news soon! Flowers.

Gabby786 · 10/11/2016 10:28

Oh didn't the induction work??? I hope you and you're LO are all good and well though. I'm going in at 2pm today. I hope I don't need a c section.

Baz, hope everything is okay. How are you feeling? Eek gabby 2pm, not long now :) we are here, waited for a while but currently on the monitor so they can get a baseline etc. Having my pessary soon! Eep. Hope everyone is feeling okay today, love to all! Grin

Chuckaluck · 10/11/2016 12:47

Kitten and Gabby - thinking of you both! Been shopping to take my mind off things!! Baby has definitely dropped today - hoping that might kick something off!
Baz - hope u and baby are ok xxx

Gabby786 · 10/11/2016 13:30

Good luck Gabby you'll soon be cuddling your baby, one way or another Smile

MrsLen · 10/11/2016 16:05

40+2 and struggling with no energy. Not sure how you ladies managed to go for so long. Xx

Chuckaluck · 10/11/2016 18:56

Thinking of you both Gabby and Kitten x

Tidythatmess · 10/11/2016 19:43

41+2 and utterly defeated by this pregnancy. It looks like my midwife led water birth is being replaced by induction in the busiest hospital in the region. Gutted but can't be pregnant any more Sad. Just need baby to arrive safely, can hardly even walk.

Gabby786 · 10/11/2016 20:22

Just a quick update. They put the pessary in me at about half 5. I was 2cm dilated. For the past hour or so I've been cramping like a bitch. Been walking around the ward to try and ease the pain.

OP posts:
Kittenrush · 10/11/2016 21:35

Thanks chuck :) Much the same gabby! The pain is pretty intense but I'm not really contracting properly, just really bad cramps. My DP has had to go home and I must admit I'm a bit of a mess. They tell me it might be 6pm tomorrow before they break my waters

Gabby786 · 10/11/2016 22:16

I'm exactly the same. Really bad cramps but no contractions yet. Hubby had to go at 9 which made me feel all shitty and alone too. They're gonna give some painkillers they said but I think I'm gonna have a long one too. X

Ian0808 · 10/11/2016 22:47

Were your partners not allowed to stay with you? 41+1 here, been following the thread for a while. 2nd sweep tomorrow and induction scheduled for Monday!!

Gabby786 · 11/11/2016 01:01

Well in this hospital unless you're in active labour then partners have go at 9. It fucking sucks tbh. But I had some painkillers and it knocked me out for a while lol. But there's a woman next to me and she's snoring pretty loudly so I can't fall back asleep lol

OP posts:
Kittenrush · 11/11/2016 03:40

Yeah same, he had to be gone by 8 i think but they let him stay until 9. Whatever they give you seems to have made me super hormonal. Starting contracting prettty regularly a while ago but then I had to lay down and it's all stopped again. Roll on 8am when DP can come back. How you holding up gabby?? Xx

Kittenrush · 11/11/2016 03:44

Ian0808, My cat is called Ian and your username made me cry because I miss her. (Yes female cat called Ian, don't ask) That's the level of crazy we are talking here people.

Gabby786 · 11/11/2016 04:48

Pretty much the same as you. Had contractions but they stopped. Have a feeling I'm gonna need the drip :-/ and I'm
absolutely shattered too!!!!
