Today I've been admitted to hospital and told my baby will need to be delivered in next 24 hours due to poor growth and almost no waters. Baby is only measuring at 1lb 2oz with a less than 50% chance of survival. My husband and I are devastated and terrified. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Hopefully you are all busy packing up ready to go home, it is a lovely sunny day here so hopefully you also have a lovely sunny day to take you beautiful Bea home for her Daddy's birthday SmileSmileSmileSmile

Please could you share a photo of Bea in her car seat in the sunshine? As an end to this chapter on MN SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

What a lovely dress.

I've read your thread since the beginning and I am so pleased to see how far you have all come. Flowers

RTKangaMummy · 16/03/2017 09:54

Hope you are all enjoying being at home together and that Bea was home in time to celebrate TitchyPandaDaddy's birthday SmileSmileSmileSmile

If Bea finds it hard to sleep in the peace and quiet at home there is an app called OTICON that I use for my tinnitus, it basically has different sounds effects, I use one called PINK NOISE I use it on the iPad it doesn't need Internet connection once you have downloaded it

For all your amazing support, we are so grateful :)

Bea did indeed come home on Monday. It's lovely to all be home together. There are still a lot of things medically wise that we are working on, but it's nice to finally be a family together.

Now we're all home, I'd like to introduce you Bea :)

Bea is beautiful congratulations. There is no better feeling then taking them home Flowers

UnbornMortificado · 16/03/2017 13:45

Oh I wanted to add when my 30 weeker came home I applied for DLA for DD. Not sure if she's still on oxygen but with the NG tube still being in Bea will be entitled to it.

It's very hard to admit our babies need more help/care/hospital appointments but I'm sure you know off her neonatal stay all the extras sharp add up.

Please ignore if it's something you have already been told about it and congratulations again.

Such a beautiful little girl. Tearing up. So pleased you are all home together as a family. Thank you for the update

MomentOfWonder · 16/03/2017 21:06

Such lovely news! Hope Bea is settling in nicely x

Titchypanda · 16/03/2017 21:58

She's doing well on her low flow. Feeding is still a battle sometimes. She has Colic and is teething so cranky a lot. We're introducing her to toys, mostly she's scared of them but seems to enjoy playing lots. It's just lovely to actually be a family.
