Well the doctor definitely thinks I am miscarrying

Had severe cramping for the last three evenings, followed by slight spotting yesterday and this morning.

Am seven weeks and 1 day pregnant. Can already see the baby in my head.

the doctor said - "will have to wait and see but, the good news is that you managed to get pregnant and than you should therefore be able to do it again", and "these are not good signs". No suggestions that it was likely to be anything else.

Very clear she thinks its most likely a miscariage.

Oh MY GOD.

Phoned the doctor last night and asked if there was any point in going to the hospital for the scan. She said - if you don't get a full period you should go.

THERE IS A HEART BEAT!!!!! Most confusingly we are only six + 1 pregnant. So in theory couldn't possibly have been pregnant when we first tested postive.

Still spotting, still scared but THERE IS A HEART BEAT!!!!

Have been watching this thread and really felt for you when you thought your were misscarrying.

So glad they found a heartbeatt and fingers crossed everything goes well. It must be an awful time for you but must have been an amazing feeling when you saw that heartbeat. Congratulations

Ha-ha! FAB news.
I didn't want to post as such yesterday but the friend who had a similar BIG bleed is now 12 weeks and still as sick as a parrot.
These things do happen

thank you all, can't quite belive it, still cramping and spotting but at least we have seen a heartbeat. Got to presume things are OK now unless handed further evidence that they aren't!!!!

If a heartbeat is seen the chances of mc really do plummet. Be good to yourself and enjoy the relief

Dear Angua! I have just read the conversations that you have been having over the internet! I think you should be sso prud of yourself for holding it aall together and staaying upright - let alone going into work and handling all of that as well! Keep going - keep hoping and remember to relax - it sounds like all will be well now - you deserve a break from the worry - If I were you I would organise to go to and have a coffee with your mates at the weekend and treat yourself with a shopping spree
