Pray that this little one hangs on!!

After 10 years of fertility treatments, countless failed IVF cyclces and four heartbreaking miscarriages (all at around five weeks), my brother phoned me tonight to tell me that he was sitting on his sofa looking at a scan picture of a little tiny being with a strong heartbeat at seven weeks! Its early days but all the signs are good and this is the furthest they have ever come. I am just sending a heartfelt plea for all of you, whatever your beliefs, to send a little prayer or positive thought that this little baby makes it. I really really believe it makes a difference. We've been praying hard ever since the IVF cycle and I dreamt they had a little girl! They will be wonderful parents. So please send a thought of strength and life and hope and love and whatever else to help this most precious little person make it safely into the world.

yes thanks Strawberrymoon, you are lovely for asking. Just needed to get life a little under control, sort the house out, get organised and get a good nights sleep! (well as under control as you can with two darling ds's aged 1 and 3)

BLB is all snuggled up, amazingly we've had a cold snap here as well!

I love your message ChocolatePeanut. I whisper 'sweet dreams, sleep safe' every night to my beautiful boys when I sneak in to kiss them goodnight one last time before I go to bed. Its my little nightly ritual.

MESSAGE FROM BLB'S MUMMY!!

Hello everyone

I thought I should give you all a quick update on the Bean. Things are going well and I am starting to relax a little bit. The specialist has changed us from fortnightly appointments to monthly and so far I have resisted the urge to pop to the GP just to hear its little heart beating.

Bean jumps around a lot which I absolutely love. Tone and I are still amazed every single time. I often stop mid sentence and just smile at its little thumping movements. I just can?t believe how much we love this little person already. I thank god and every single person that has prayed for us and thought of us, at least once a day. I feel so lucky.

Clemsterdarcy you've got me in tears for about the 4th time this morning (happy tears of course). The first time was when I read Katie's note to you all, then a couple more times just reading back through the whole thread then I went off and composed myself and now I'm floods again!
Thank you. Its just so beautiful. I'll forward it to them right now. Though I can't read it anymore because I can't see for tears!!!, especially the first line where you say 'she carries you under her heart'!! I think little Bean has part of all our hearts on here. This journey has been made so much easier and richer for my db and sil because of the love you have all sent. I don't think you really know what a difference its made and it means the world to them, and to us that love them.
