zippi - Said in jest, based on how many MN threads seem to go when different opinions are aired!

WelshBoris · 28/06/2006 13:27

have a MASSIVE fight over car signs, go on

Sponsored by Halfords

SoupDragon · 28/06/2006 13:31

Won't they have to drive right up your bum to read the sign?? And if they're reading the sign, they're not concentrating on the road.

IHeartEnid · 28/06/2006 13:32

do you think the emergency services spend time looking for princesses or Little Miss Naughty if there is an accident? [anxious emoticon]

shhhh · 28/06/2006 13:33

[yawn emoticon]

Thomcat · 28/06/2006 13:40

I'm not against any sort of sign, each to their own, i coulldn't give a toss.
Just think it's so funny how this thread has turned out!
I rememebr a thread about carsigns taking off like this about a year ago as well. V funny, I love this about mumsnet sometimes

iPodthereforiPoor · 28/06/2006 13:40

I value the little miss'&mr's as much as any other life...so I hope so..

zippitippitoes · 28/06/2006 13:44

I think all the little mr men and misses should be put in a pantechnicon together and driven over a cliff ..

MrsJohnCusack · 28/06/2006 13:44

I'm sorry but I'm PMSL at 'show cats on board'
v.funny

iPodthereforiPoor · 28/06/2006 13:46

nooooooooooo........... Can I just keep Mr Tickle, then?

iPodthereforiPoor · 28/06/2006 13:50

Bugger, my very on Mr.Man is awake, Just as I'm getting into posting mumsnet rather than lurking or mooning about the dismal state my life is in!

Better go feed him some lunch - good job I have had lessons form mumsnet on suitable feeding or the poor lad would be having sauasage roll flavoured fruit shoot in the car, conceald by his sunshade and BoBsign!!!

pianomummy · 28/06/2006 13:52

Sophie B - i've got two 'mum to be on board' sent through the post from volvo (it's got baby on board on the reverse). don't need both.

email me your address to gillianshore at ippimail dot com and i'll send it to you.

Interesting about urban mythsand these signs

sweetkitty · 28/06/2006 16:27

My neighbours have about 3 Baby on Board signs for their MPV (for their one small baby) one has the babies name on it and they also have matching sunshades, Little Miss Ones with the babies name on it.

Best one is the Dad has "Best Dad in the world on board" oon his car.

I think they are just over zealous first time parents.

I want "poo monster on board" and "snot machine on board"

Kathy1972 · 28/06/2006 16:28

I don't think these signs go nearly far enough.
They should make 'Gifted and talented child on board' and 'Baby conceived on the first go on board'.

pianomummy · 28/06/2006 16:30

btw i'm feeling for sophie b at the mo

she only asked a simple question and has been slated for wanting a sign!

if you want a sign, have a sign sophie!

bubblez · 28/06/2006 16:34

pianomummy that is exactly the point that I was trying to make earlier when I said that the only one who actually answered her question was biglips..

bubblez · 28/06/2006 16:35

SparklyGothKat · 28/06/2006 16:37

Sorry, they just make my teeth itch.
Irrational maybe but there we are.

sarahlou1uk · 28/06/2006 18:54

I have one but I don't put it in the back of my car - I put in on my drivers window so that hopefully, when I park I don't need a can opener to get back in the car when some INCONSIDERATE driver has parked too damn close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

sarahlou1uk · 28/06/2006 18:55

sorry forgot to say, you can buy these on ebay for £1.99
