I'm in so much pain its unreal!!

On Thursday I had an attack of the runs after a takeaway, since then I've had one massive and immensely painful pile. It's very hard and making life very difficult!

I can sit down ok but its hurting when I move and I'm laying down, I've got some cream but its not making a blind bit of difference tbh. I've been putting it on as instructed and having a shower every morning as its smelling!!

I've just been to the toilet again and its bled. What can I do to make tpain from it woke me up last night and my oh is getting sick of being woken up by me tossing and turning, as well as the snoring, night terrors and restless legs that pregnancy had brought on!

Is there anything I can do for the pain or any natural remedies that I can see if I can get my hands on to try and help??

That sounds like you've dropped then!! Can you tell if your bump is lower? I know I could see the drop with dd but not with this one!

I have zero energy for the garden atm, in determined to have some flowers and a small patch for herbs next year tho, I did have some parsley and thyme this yr but the dog ate them so I'm going to do it in the front and not the back!!

The skinny ones trantrums sound fun! My dd had some amazing ones!! I get dd up at 730 for school and I'm about to bath her too, luckily all I need to do is wash her hair now and she can do the rest!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 09/09/2012 19:41

I haven't been able to tell when ive dropped with any of them but my belly skin feels really tight too.

Oh, he screeches like a bloody girl when he starts. He used to fall asleep about 11pm but the past few weeks its been between 9/10pm so its improving.

Grin attempted growing tomatoes a few months ago but yet again they failed miserably so i gave up. The only decent things i ever grew were strawberries last year. Buggerations.

How are the farmer giles now?

ithastobeNAICEham · 09/09/2012 23:23

y skin felt tight when I dropped too so it could be!!

I couldn't cope with such a late.bed time for dd, I used to put her down at 8 and leave her to it! I'm a mean mummy Grin

I used to have a proper herb garden and then I moved :( gutted!

The farmer Giles seem to be ok, bit itchy now but apparently that's a good sign... Confused

Oh my god i tried everything to get him to stay in his room but he was up and down the stairs every 10 mins even when we went to bed at at 8pm he'd still be farting around. If only i could've superglued him to bed!

Hes got a right cob on this morning about going to school. Tough!

Ill try growing again next year. Weve got a space for it. Grin

ithastobeNAICEham · 10/09/2012 10:23

Dd quite clearly felt the same about school this morning!! Normally, we are ready to leave at about 820 and we sit and watch 10 mins of tv then set off, this morning she was fannying about that much she didn't get tv time!!

Started with what feel like contractions every 45 mins or so, they hurt like hell but not getting any closer, got my oh to have a feel and he says my cervix still feels closed, so they can't be proper ones :( I don't want proper ones if they hurt that bad!! She can stay in there!!

More washing to do today, might take the pooch out for a walk... Or leave her for the man to walk!!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 10/09/2012 17:28

I got a great pic of him in full meltdown mode which of course i put in fb for all to see.

Im feeling in a bit of a mood this aft. I need looking after for a change instead of me running around after everyone. Angry

And, theres no chocolate left!!!

Hows yer pains now??

ithastobeNAICEham · 10/09/2012 22:18

I take it the photo shall also be filed away for the "first time he brings a girl friend round" moment too?? I've got a fair few corkers for dd's first bf!!!

The pains got to every half an hour and have stopped!! Shouldn't have had a bloody bath!! :(

Just realised my whole family is going to be in Newcastle this weekend for the great north run, my dbro is running. Bet I go into labour either on the Sunday or Saturday night now!!

I know how you feel, my oh can be brilliant but there's times where I just need to sit down and have someone take care of me without me having to say so. I think we both could do with learning to ask for a hand with more!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 11/09/2012 09:21

Oh, ive got loads of pics. I am going to be the embarrassing mum. Grin

Dh is back at work on the 14th too.

Its bloody chucking it down here too. Dryer on then!!

You just know your labour will start this weekend when they're all a couple if hours away. Typical.

Todays getting ready for school wasnt as much as a big deal thank god.

Still no signs of movement Sad

ithastobeNAICEham · 11/09/2012 10:22

I already am the embarrassing mum Grin when dd was in infants we had to walk up a steep hill every morning and I refused to carry a 5 yr old do I started telling her I was going to skip and start singing if she didn't walk!! She was not impressed but we got to school in record time that morning!!

It stopped raining here just in time for the school run but it looks like its clearing up, hopefully it'll start raining again and I won't have to hang out the washing, totally shattered today!!

My oh is picking dd up from school for me so I should be able to get a sleep in!!

3 texts asking if I've had the baby yet... If I had everyone would have known by now, mainly because of my mum!! I told my dad about the contractions and he mentioned it to my bro, who text my mum, now apparently, I'm in hospital because its started but I might be going home soon Confused I'm pretty sure I'm sat in my living room eating my way through another loaf of bread!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 11/09/2012 17:36

Mental. Bloody families. Mum text me last night asking how many hours over i was!? I told her one day she replied thats not hours. Omg mother work it out for yourself.

Ive totally had no appetite at all the past couple of months and have been forcing myself to eat. Sweet crap no problem but proper meals i cant face.

As his school is across the road i think i should drop him off whilst still wearing my jamas. Grin

Mmmm soft white fluffy fresh bread. Hubba hubba. We do have jam and custard donuts in the kitchen which i shall eat later on.

Ive been getting texts and fb posts asking if there are any signs yet too. We'd bloody tell people if there were!!!!!

Hopefully i can get an early night tonight.

ithastobeNAICEham · 11/09/2012 22:40

People from the estate I live on walk their kids to school wearing their jammies so why the hell not?Grin

I can be the same with meals, tbh, unless its something I really really fancy I cba and end up leaving half then eating
Ice cream or something!! Or half a loaf of bread, can't wait til I can have pate again now though!!

That sounds like something my mum would ask me!! When I went over with dd, she was obsessed! This pg she hasn't been arsed, with my sil being pg ay the same time and the fact she doesnt like my oh, I have to say she's shown very little interest since finding out I'm having another girl (other than to concoct various things in her own head that I've said or done)

Another day of pains at various intervals but not constant like Sunday, I'm hoping my walk to the mw tomorrow will help! Wondering if I'll get a sweep though, a pg hissy fit in the doctors may help lol!!

How's the skinny one been at school today??

Hope you get your early night!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 12/09/2012 22:17

Skinny one is getting better but no doubt it'll wear off soon.

There are other mums dropping the kids off in jamas too and it is only 100yds or so away.

I couldn't have a sweep today as ds2 screamed the office down so mw said she'll get someone to come to the house 2moro to do one. If not im booked in on Wednesday!!

Early night my arse. Ds2 fed pretty much all bloody night. I didnt give him any bottles during today just bedtime so we'll see how we go. Hes banging his head on his cot alot too at nights, he has a night light in its just something he seems to take enjoyment in doing.

Im going to get a whole slab of pate and eat the whole lot with some warm crusty bread. Drool.

adoremyfamily · 12/09/2012 22:24

Cream is rubbish, suppositries (sp) have always worked for me, but don't know if they are ok during pregnancy.

ithastobeNAICEham · 12/09/2012 22:36

I shall ask the doctor about those when I see him next week, thank you adore!

Notgrown, my dbro used to hit his head off his cot too, he is probably the most grown up and stable out of the 3 of us so could be a good sign! Grin

My mw is coming over on Monday to do my sweep, found out why I'm in so much pain too, the baby is back to back :( m currently mning from my living room floorwhere I am on all fours!! I hope no one calls round! Just hope she turns.

I am hoping a diet of purely pate, bread, chocolate, soup and fudge cake will sustain me through the first week or so. Of breast feeding Wink it feels like it might be a viable option!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 13/09/2012 09:19

And Brie.

I was on the ball for ages last night and it just gave me random pains, not contractions unfortunately. Ive just got a sore bum ?!?! Today, dont know what all thats about.

Agh no, isnt back to back meant to be not nice?? Turn baby turn baby in utero!! In a disco inferno stylee. Ahem.

My god I spent about an hour ironing fiddly bloody name tags in uniform yesterday, might have been quicker if U had sewn them in.

Dh's payday 2moro so big food shop day!!

Who is looking after dd when you go on? Is she excited?

ithastobeNAICEham · 13/09/2012 11:24

Notgrownupinmyhead · 13/09/2012 11:33

I had replied but its not there!!!

I hope she turns for you, what causes it to be so painful?

Notgrownupinmyhead · 13/09/2012 11:34

Its you! It did appear but your post then appeared again!! Brilliant!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 13/09/2012 17:02

I have no idea what went on there!! V odd!

I don't know why its so painful during labour, I think it has something to do with contractions causing baby's head to push down on the wrong points or something but I'm probably talking out of my arse there!!

The school bugs have started going round all ready :( my mates dd has come down with a vomiting bug, she came for tea the other day so I'm currently taking a break from anti bacterial spraying the whole house!! I cannot be coming down with something like that now!

Got an Iceland delivery, fucking broken eggs in it Angry can't really complain as I've called them and they are sending me a new bag with everything that is ruined in it!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 13/09/2012 17:48

I love Iceland! Cant believe how much you can get for £25. Theres one near here opening soon. Wink

Have you got a mask? Weve got one of DH's chemical warfare ones but I think that'll be a bit extreme at the school gates.

Just given ds2 his first curry and he bloody loved it.

Ive just got dh to take a pic of the bump and its huge and a strange shape!! Brilliant.

ithastobeNAICEham · 14/09/2012 08:53

I love Iceland too, I've spent £60 in there today and that will last a good few weeks, plus the free delivery bit is great!

I think a chemical mask may be boardering on the extreme side. I think that anti bacc-ing the whole house was possibly getting there too!!

My bump can be odd looking too, depends on where baby is, baby looks like she round the front again but she could move again!!

Roll. On Monday when I get my sweep, hopefully it'll kick start something!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 14/09/2012 15:11

Ive just been swept and head down, 1.5cm and cervix easy to get to so she stretched it to 2cm. We shall see.

Hes swapped sides and swapped back again. Confused

Watched that Dark Shadows last night (Jonny Depp vampire one) it was quite funny and worth a watch. I think we should scare baby out!

I feel like I need to poo but I dont need to go iykwim.

Is the mw walking distance?

ithastobeNAICEham · 14/09/2012 15:27

That sounds very promising!! Sounds like it could be happening for you!

Mw is at the doctors, about twenty or so mins away but she is only there on a Wednesday and they do home visits for the rest of the week.

I don't like horror movies!! I'm such a wuss.

Bastarding contractions have started and then stopped again :(

Looking forward to tea today, chicken marinated in Italian herbs with pasta!! Nom

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 14/09/2012 18:51

I bloody hope so. My MW is about 20min walk away too and only there on Weds!! The one who came round today it was her first week back after Maternity Leave.

Oh, the Dark Shadows is a comedy one, Tim Burton directed it so of course Wifey is in that!

I've not had contractions as such just belly going hard. Bled a bit before but only 1 wipes worth. We ended up having Chinese as DH didn't fancy chicken in 'shroom sauce.

Shall be doing the big shop in a bit.

Have you got everything ready for baby??

ithastobeNAICEham · 15/09/2012 12:12

The belly going hard is meant to be a good sign so hopefully that will develop even further for you soon!!

Might have to have a look at that then, I like the tim Burton cartoon ones.

I like a Chinese, I usually end up getting duck and hoisin sauce, I might have to get one next week.

Everything is ready for the baby now, I've got my hospital bag packed and ready to go, I'm just waiting on the bloody baby now Grin
