I'm in so much pain its unreal!!

On Thursday I had an attack of the runs after a takeaway, since then I've had one massive and immensely painful pile. It's very hard and making life very difficult!

I can sit down ok but its hurting when I move and I'm laying down, I've got some cream but its not making a blind bit of difference tbh. I've been putting it on as instructed and having a shower every morning as its smelling!!

I've just been to the toilet again and its bled. What can I do to make tpain from it woke me up last night and my oh is getting sick of being woken up by me tossing and turning, as well as the snoring, night terrors and restless legs that pregnancy had brought on!

Is there anything I can do for the pain or any natural remedies that I can see if I can get my hands on to try and help??

Ahh bless the pair of you. I got his uniform a couple of months ago i just need to put tags in. Yeah, i'd been on my own fir years too and was tidy. He was anally tidy now we're really messy. I am a sucker for internet shopping, never used to be at all but since this pg ive gone really lazy. Me and the boys would've been at some group or other. My mate is well was really into climbing too. Ds1 would love that.

Everywhere is soaked. Wheres me wellies!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 29/08/2012 23:27

I know, its soaked here too, I'm Dick of rain but its too bloody hot when its sunny! I'm thinking I might go into town as early as poss tomorrow and see if my OH will watch dd while I have a nap in the afternoon (she is grounded tomorrow due to her sneaking sweets she wasn't allowed today)

I'm looking forward to next summer and getting back to doing what I'm used to doing, although its going to be a big shock doing everything with 2!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 30/08/2012 09:35

I even had the heating on yesterday. We had local flooding which is very unusual too so DH got diverted twice on his way to work. Its a beautiful day out atm too. Yeah, get a nap in later i try when i can but i just end up having missiles thrown at me Angry

Hopefully next summer wont be such a washout so we can actually do something!

My eyes dont want to work at all yet. Whens yer due date?

ithastobeNAICEham · 30/08/2012 10:18

It's grey, cloudy and cool but it doesnt look like its going to rain yet which is good!!

I had a very odd dream last night about a local soft play place, it has reminded me that.I'm going to have to start going to those places again!!

I'm due on the 11th of September, when ate you due??

I can only get a nap if my OH watches dd, otherwise its inane question after very random comment!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 30/08/2012 12:24

Its now grey. Oooh, im the 9th September.

Next door have just had their house smashed up by some shady looking lads and they've smashed the car up too.

Oh god soft play. Ds1 loves them. Ill have to start going too again at some point.

Im always having weird dreams. Cant remember them now but I was Batman the other night. Confused

victoriassponge · 30/08/2012 12:39

37 weeks here and just wondering what you do with the witch hazel and the evening primrose oil??

Notgrownupinmyhead · 30/08/2012 12:45

Hello!! With the Evening Primrose you can take it both ends. Im taking 3000mg a day orally and you can insert 1000mg up yer fanjo Confused

It helps ripen the cervix similarly to raspberry leaf tea. Im doing both Grin

But no insertion here!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 30/08/2012 15:28

Victoria, I put 3 drops of witchazel in a small glass of milk, and put it in the bath. You can put it in neat but it seems to react with me if I do it that way! I'mgetting some evening primrose next week if this one hasn't made an apperance yet!! I don't think I'll be inserting though!

Notgrown, was anyone in when next door was smashed up?? Hope you are ok!

I've had night terrors with this pg and I've scared my OH to death loads of times by screaming randomly in the middle of the night!!

Well, I've done in town n dd now has her full uniform and I've got some meat to make into curries and to do some batching cooking for when baby finally gets here! I'm thinking things to go with pasta that can just be chucked into a pan? I'm hoping this is a good idea!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 30/08/2012 15:45

Anything with pasta is a good idea!!

Yeah, the young lad was in as it was him they were after. Apparently his mum was too. They've trashed his car too.

I really need to get his uniform washed and that for Wed!! I cant remember where ive put the name tags though.

Baby brain!!

Im not sure if you can start with the high dose but fuck it anyway! Get to Holland and Barrett.

Milk and witch hazel??

victoriassponge · 30/08/2012 17:23

Thanks for the info notgrownup & ithastobeNAICE. Just to clarify... the EP oil is for helping to ripen the cervix / tone the uterus but the witch hazel / milk in the bath is for the piles yes?

Notgrownupinmyhead · 30/08/2012 17:31

Yah Grin

ithastobeNAICEham · 30/08/2012 18:35

It's what I was advised to do by my mum, not sure if itsmeant to be done that way or not!! It seemed to help earlier Grin

Hopefully, today will be the last you see of the guys!

My theory on the batch cooking is, pasta takes 10 mins to cook and I can bung that on, nd stick the pre prepared stuff in with it to heat it through n that's a meal!! All this talk of food is making me hungry now! Tea time I think!!

If one more person looks at me and days "haven't you had that baby yet" I'm going to scream!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 30/08/2012 19:15

Mums come out with some random stuff.

Even if they did come back im only concerned about them waking the kids up. Its unlikely thy'll do anything to other houses as it was him they were after.

Might set me off into labour if they do!!

We've no room for any batch froze stuff do DH is going to have to cook Grin

Ooh heartburn city!! I cant wait for ds1 to start school hes driving me mad bless him and talking to himself?!?!

DH is off now for at least 2 weeks so i can have afternoon sleeps! Yay!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 30/08/2012 21:38

That they do, when I was about 13 weeks pregnant it was my nieces birthday party and I was eating cocktail sausages and pinapples on sticks, my mum launched herself across the kitchen and banned Mr from eating the pineapple as "it might set me off" Confused it was tinned for a start.... Strange woman!!

Im batch cooking so my OH won't have tocook, he will eat anything, even if its notcooked properly!! I really don't want food poisoning!!

Yay for the afternoon naps! My OH went out this afternoon to take some worms that our bearded dragon won't eat to a friend's and to play on the ps3 so I couldn't sleep :( on the bright side I had a snuggle on the sofa with the pup and dd! We watched cbbc!! I think I've lost about 500 brain cells doing so Grin

My dd talks to herself too, its quite funny listening to her when she's playing in her room, all her toys have American accents though

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 31/08/2012 09:02

My mum (snigger) is a mental health memory nurse who has the worst memory I have ever known anyone to have. She asks me every other week when my due date is. Shes booked a holiday on this due date and is going to Devon for the week. She did this last year too Angry

Well payday today and already spent a weeks mat pay on ebay. I need to stop that habit.

What is it with PS3's? DH wants one.

Mums got the boy this weekend so I can finally try and get the house shit shape without having to stop him trying to kill his baby brother!!

Sold a stepper and fold out bed on ebay so they're getting collected this weekend then i just need to go to the Post Office and post a small pkt. Not today though.

We daren't have any other animals in our house the poor things will get terrorised by ds1. Monster.

ithastobeNAICEham · 31/08/2012 10:04

If you asked my dad he couldn't give you the month his grandkids were born in, without looking it up my mum would get dd's DOB wrong, everytine!! Now, I've just got used to the fact my parents are a bit shit n I will do my best to be better!!

My OH has a PS3 but we aren't online (all the lines are corroded so the connection keeps dropping, we have mobile broadband but that's it) whereas his friend is so they can go play with people in Russia and other random places. I don't see the appeal myself!

Step away from eBay!! It's evil! I only use it for selling now as I will buy shit that no one needs!!! U currently have an addiction to American sweets! Their chocolate and candy is amazing! I spent 92qyid on there a few weeks ago!

Yay for a ds1 free clean up mission Grin I'm trying to work out what room to gut and start again with today, I might kick the dog out (or get oh to actually take her on a proper walk) and then clean out the cupboards... Might work!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 31/08/2012 11:13

I have a big big problem with sweets and chocolate. Google 'a quarter of'. I daren't. Ive spent £100+ on nappies, exercise ball and some other bits. I need to stop it. I can leave the baby to play in his room whilst i do stuff its the other one and his busy hands and feet that i need to keep an eye on. Our bedroom looks like a squat. We moved here in March and theres still a few boxes of pictures in there but now ive sold the fold up bed theres more room in the weird room we have downstairs where the old coal bunker i think used to be so they can get shoved in there. Ill probably not do it but ive been putting it off for weeks and we really need room in our room for the new baby.

Twas night 2 of night weaning last night and each night hes woke twice and all ive done is go in lay him down and leave. Hes whinged for about 10mins then gone back to sleep. So hopefully it'll only last a few more nights.

Ooh nearly sleeps time for thing%232

ithastobeNAICEham · 31/08/2012 14:08

I really font think google is a good idea!! I'm still in trouble for the other week!! When you have 2 in nappies it makes sense to bulk buy and get loads in, I've been getting some wilkinsons nappies in as they were on 2 packs for 7!! Can't complain!

I can't believe how much nappies cost these days! It cost me 5 for a big pack of pampers newborn when dd was born!

My bump was really hard last night and I was woken by a Braxton hicks! Hopefully this will mean baby makes an apperance soon!

I'm sure you'll get sorted soon, when I moved here my dd was at school during the day so I had the opportunity to get things sorted, hopefully once ds1 is at school it'll be easier for you to crack on, especially with dh at home!!

Sounds like the night weaning is going well! Here's hoping it continues for you!

Ooh, ow, another Braxton! These seem to be getting stronger though!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 31/08/2012 19:00

Ive started using reusables, last month or so and it so far is only an extra 3 washes a week so im not noticing it too much.

Asda nappies i found leaked and liked Tescos but hadn't tried Wilkinsons yet but will still use disposables for overnight stays etc. I love Wilkinsons.

Luckily its only moving a few bags of pictures and boxes of clothes that we need to hide. Grin

You'll have to keep me posted on movement then! Excellent! I get them when im cleaning.

Little mr shouty pants is rather overtired and not settling yet so ill be with Cherry Garcia and sorting him out. Lovely.

ithastobeNAICEham · 31/08/2012 22:48

I can't use reusables, I find it hard enough dealing with baby poop as it is without adding having to wash then into the mix!!

Well, all braxtons have stopped again but I've had a bath and had another feel and my cervix seems very flat but still quite high, I would imagine it will lower somewhat before the big day (i have no idea what I'm talking about here, its an educated guess!)

Hope the small ones have settled for the night, I'm looking forward to school going back now, just not looking forward to the mornings!! I'm trying my best to get into the routine, tea time etc but its proving to be easier said than done!! Plus she starts on a Tuesday so I'm wondering weather to leave her bath until Monday or to do it on Sunday as normal!!

I've got a binliner full of photos and albums in my cubby hole in the living room, I really should do something with them but I don't know what, my grandad is getting close to passing away and I don't know how much longer ny gran has left (she's been pulling on everyone's heart strings with the whole god father type "bring me my grandchildren and great grandchildren near to me" speech for the last few months now) so I know UK going to get a million more photos and albums to sort through!! Appatently, as I can't work, I have the time!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 01/09/2012 10:12

DH's mum is like that sort of too. His parents live in Northumberland and hes knackered and cant cope with the 3 hour drive and its not fair on the kids.

Well small and fat didnt wake and tall and thin has just gone to my mums for the night whoop whoop!

Ive not had any bh like yours but my poops are getting err 'looser' ahem. So i think were both getting ready. Hopefully with the stuff ive to do this weekend itll start something. Asda man is due anytime then a woman is coming to pick up a fold up bed i sold on ebay so i need to dig that out.

Because a person cant bloody work doesn't mean they're sat on their bums all day. Cheeky. My mate cant work either and is always busy.

Im used to dealing with all manner of poo related ishoos. Mostly stomas and children so im used to it just as long as my hands dint smell!!

DefinitelyDarwin · 01/09/2012 10:14

Have you tried dabbing it with calpol?

Honestly, calpol numbs on contact, it's brill for cold sores or cuts!

ithastobeNAICEham · 01/09/2012 11:15

Darwin, I've not heard that before! Im not sure if I have any calpol in but I shall see and ill get some in next time I'm in town if not!!

Notgrown, really sounds like the night weaning is going really well! Dd won't be going on any more trips now, she doesn't go to my mums very often now as my step dad has 2 kids so they go every weekend and its only when they aren't there my mum can have her!!

My mum thinks I can do loads of jobs, I have athritus in my hip, I need a new knee and even in this pg when I'm back on my crutches I could have got myself a cleaning job! Confused according to my mum me being at home is just me showing how lazy I am,I've given up arguing with her now!!

My lizard is shedding so every time I get the bloody thing out I end up covered in scales!! Plus, she winds the dog up constantly! She runs across the front of the viv until the dog barks! It was amusing the first few times but when the dog is barking at it at 4 in the morning its not so amusing Angry

I don't know what to do today, I suppose I'd best get on with some house work, just wish I had some energy!! I'm bloody knackered!!

OP posts:
Notgrownupinmyhead · 01/09/2012 18:42

Our well dh's dog cant help but bark at everything.

Sounds like our mums might get on! Shes vert obsessive over ds1 and ds2 does not get a look in whatsoever the poor sod and it really upsets me. The fair was on today and me and dh were both well enough to take the boys but she took over and took him herself even though we suggested we all meet up but she said she wasn't going. I can feel an argument coming on with her.

I feel your pain about the hip mine feels like its going to snap off at the joint. My knees have always been horrific but nit as bad as yours by the sound if it. Have you been told you're too young to have it replaced? Dh needs his done and he crunches it in my ear to freak me out. Barf.

ithastobeNAICEham · 01/09/2012 22:38

Me and my OH have agreed that if this one doesn't get the same treatment as ddthen she won't be having dd overnight again, I'm not having a difference made between the siblings, it will be easier said than done but I'm quite angry with her anyway atm (it all sounds so petty tbh) but my mum gave my brother money when he had his dd and then when his sons were due, she has also agreed to do the same for us when I announced my pg,
So far I've got nothing, not even an outfit for the baby, my ex mil and my mil have bought things and the rest I've got, she got upset with me because I posted on fb that I've finally got everything now!! She's never offered and knows I wouldn't ask. Anyways, enough ranting!!

I would be frustrated with the fair situation, try not to get too stressed out! (I know its much easier said than done where mothers are concerned!!)

With my knees, I was told that is need it replacing within 10 Yeats but I'd have to go private as the NHS will only pay for a replacement as part of an emergency situation, so if it was life limiting (in not even going there!) Or if is had an accident

Ive had 3 operations on it but refuse to have more as I hate being off my feet, I can't hack being laid up! I will still be walking dd to school and still pick her up every day no matter what the doctors say!! I'm far too stubborn!!
