Yes it's rubbish isn't it ! Think I had a bit of nesting kick in this morning ? Cleared some cupboards out shame its come in this v hot weather tho! Ive not been out a day ! Feel bad for the kids but I jus think what's the point? I end up getting really uncomfortable and faint as soon as I get to the end of the road ! Hoping it kicks off this weekend !

I'm getting more and more fed up. My feet have ballooned, so sore to walk. Tried to sit on the beach with DH and DCs today (usually right where I want to be!) and couldn't sit properly so had to leave.

Sorry all of you who are still suffering - it sucks!!! My little bundle of baby boy was born on Sunday, a whopping 9lbs 14oz. Whew. Fingers crossed all of your come out soon!

Congratulations to those who've had their babies. Had midwife appointment yesterday and the head is one fifth engaged but not sure if that means much? She has booked me in for a sweep on Tuesday official due date is Sunday, has anyone had a sweep is it painful and how effective in getting things going? I'm hoping I'll have the baby before then.

soozy my baby was op, but they didn't know till they tried attaching a clip for monitoring! I got her out with an episiotomy, nowhere near as bad as it sounds! You'll do great, even if baby doesn't turn!

I've gone from a 18 hr a day mn habit to a few mins here and there, I feel all left out :(

Still here ! Had the worst sleep ever last night my leg was really hurting? Can't think y as haven't walked anywhere in this heat ? But it was aching like mad :( also drank nrly a whole bottle if diet coke (naughty but bored of squash and water) made baby so hyper all night !

I really want to go for a long walk to get this baby moving but I jus can't get the energy together. Plus it's too darn hot at the mo!

Hi jasmine how far along are you? It's my due date tomorrow in due a sweep Tuesday too (thought it was Thursday jus gone till I checked notes silly moi) some ppl find it uncomfortable and hurt some don't but in my opinion I don't actually mind if it hurts as I neeeeeeed something to get this baby going!

Cheekychops- I had a bad night to hence the 3am post on here. I'm 39+5, due date is Sunday. also would like to go for a long walk but the heat puts me off. I'm going for a wander round our local shopping centre a bit later hoping that might help.

Ooooh day after me then yes I've been round shops got a bit of back ache now could b promising !

My induction has been booked for Wednesday which I'm really not happy about. But wouldn't refuse / insist on monitoring every 48 hours. Couldn't take the risk.

I'm looking at all the natural induction of labours - some of them really scare me though so I won't be trying all of them.

2 more days until my due date so I know I shouldn't really be moaning just yet but I can't help myself - I'm just SO uncomfortable. Have walked for miles and miles but still no joy, she does feel very low down though so I'm hoping it can't be too much longer...

Me too jus been for a 2 hour walk slow tho round the lakes etc but doubt it will do anything ! My bump still feels really high to me?? I shy get it?

So I've had pinky discharge this morning and been having cramps on and off all day, stronger than usual. Is this a sign things are moving? Could the pinky discharge be waters leaking? Not sure if to get it checked or not?

Sounds good Jasmin ! Think it may b a bit of your plug mixed in? Have been quite active today ? That could have caused it ? If your worried perhaps call your delivery suite they r very helpful xx

Hopefully, the reason this thread has gone quiet is because there have been lots of babies born over the weekend?!

Baby boy Pootle finally arrived yesterday morning, 10lb 2.5oz! After 2 failed inductions, a stroppy mummy who wanted to discharge herself on Friday and a traumatic hour of labour, but all's well that ends well!!!

He's lovely and chubby, we just can't decide on a name!!!

40+10. Had 3rd sweep / reflexology / homeopathy today.

Induction remains booked for Wednesday. My parents coming tomorrow evening (they're 200 miles away) to take over child care Weds morning.
