Oinker - so sorry to hear your news. Wishing you strength over the next week.

DHW - I burst into tears at my booking-in appt last week, though I'd had a scan the week before. MW was lovely and also suggested I request extra MW appts (not planning on seeing me for another 7 weeks otherwise) for reassurance - might be able to hear babies heartbeat with a hand held thingy by around 15 weeks...am holding out for that.

slinkstah · 18/04/2006 13:34

oh no oinker!:(

mygirllolipop · 18/04/2006 14:14

Oinker - so sorry to hear this. I know you say you were expecting this and are OK, but you know if you are not feeling brave that you don't have to pretend to us. Say how you feel. Wishing you the best luck in the world for seeing prof reagan, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxhugsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wills · 18/04/2006 14:20

Oh oinker. I'm so so so incredibly sorry honey. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

slinkstah · 18/04/2006 14:36

oinker i will still keep fingers crossed for next week, alot of people haven't seen heartbeats and had smaller babys than dates at this stage and things have gone on to be ok. i know because of your history its not looking good but i will hold out some hope for you anyway {{{{hugs}}}}

another TMI ALERT i have the squits! have had em since saturday- when do i start worrying? shall i starve myself? don't want baby to be hungry though.
also am going for my 2nd 4d scan this afternoon, fingers crossed it works this time if it doesn't i think i have lost alot of money! am more nervous than excited.

HellKat · 18/04/2006 14:39

Oinker- {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}} SadSadSad
They said the same at my 6 weeks scan. Could'nt even see a beanie, let alone a heartbeat. I'm praying for a miracle for you darling. If the outcome is bad though, promise me you'll get tough on them. In this day & age no woman needs to go through this many mc's without a definite reason. Make sure they test everything and find out what's happening. My thoughts are with you & dp for yet another horrendous wait (I hate this bit). Anything you need, mail me xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

oinker · 18/04/2006 16:23

Thanks guys for everything......
I am still feeling quite icky and sore breast etc. It may just be all the treatment I have been taking. I can only wait and see what the result is next week.
Thanks for listening and your support. x

diddle · 18/04/2006 16:33

oh oinker - so very sorry you are in limbo now. it is still such early days though, i'm holding out some hope for you
xxx

oinker · 18/04/2006 16:40

I am 100% that this is a missed m/c but unfortunately my body hasn't realised.
I know mistakes happen, but with my track record it seems the only reasonalbe excuse.

desperatehousewife · 18/04/2006 16:56

oinker I am so sorry that you are having to keep waiting and still have such worry. I hope you have a lot of support in rl as well as on here.

twocatsonthebed · 18/04/2006 17:08

oh oinker I'm so sorry to hear that, it really isn't fair.

mygirllolipop · 18/04/2006 17:40

slink -good luck with the 4d scan, i'll havea word with the baby to face the camera and smile!

slinkstah · 18/04/2006 18:28

whatever you said mygirl it worked:) i saw baby he still had his hands in front of his face at times but i don't think the sonographer new what she was doing last time. i saw a different one today and she was able to get some pics and and vid, even got him yawning! and the sonographer pointed out hair on the 2d scan. i am positive now he will take after his hairy dad!
since my last post at around 3 i have been loo about 5 explosive times! even had to go at the scanning placeBlush has anyone had diarear/diaherar or however you spell it. if it doesn't stop i will be unable to leave the house for meetup tommorrow.

SnowBoo · 18/04/2006 21:39

Oinker, i'm so very sorry. Make sure they check everything out with you and if you need anything just ask xx

Slink, give me a dose of whatever you've got....i'm completely the other way and its made my (TMI) piles hurt and bleed like a bugger. AND i've tried everything in the book.

Can't make meet up tomorrow, have to work. Only one day this week so not too bad.

Hope everyone else is doing ok and not too forgetful or clumsy!

slinkstah · 18/04/2006 23:59

dhw- fab news they can scan you, good luck with your booking in.
g4p- hiya hun how you doing?

snowboo- i am lucky enough never to have experienced piles, its about the only thing i haven't suffered with, they sound nasty though so you have all my sympathy.
shame about the meetup, we may have another though hopefully.

oinker- it is good that you will still be able to go to prof regans clinic soon IF you do mc this time. there must be something more they can do, or something they have missed in their investigations etc. hope your coping ok, roll on next tuesday so you can find out for sure xxxxxx

Arabica · 19/04/2006 00:06

Oinker, so sorry to hear about your scan and I hope next week brings better news.
Slink and Cori, hope to see you tomorrow--have emailed Cori. However, I have to sort out an emergency appt with our surveyor re the building work we're having done (and which has turned our house into a disaster zone). I have also hurt my back again bending down sorting out our new kitchen area (ie a corner of the living room).

slinkstah · 19/04/2006 00:23

arghhh arabica, i have emailed cori telling her about my squitsBlush i am hoping i will be ok but if i get anymore explosions tommorrow morning i will have to stay by the loo.
the meetup is in jeapody! arghhhh!

Wills · 19/04/2006 08:36

Well I really tried but basically its dd2's first taster of preschool and I couldn't find anyone that I was happy with sitting with her through the session so I'm not going to make it today. Am really disappointed as had really looked forward to this. have a good time all.

diddle · 19/04/2006 08:37

slink - don't they say you have a little clear out before labour starts?? good job you've got that stitch in.
Hope you can make the meet up and that you have a good time.

mygirllolipop · 19/04/2006 08:46

Slink - I'm glad the scan went well and you saw the baby and yawning too!
DHW - I'm glad that they are going to scan you before your appointment.
G4P - how are you?
Well got another set of visitors today the PIL are coming. Are you all at the meet-up or is it not going ahead now?
