Morning all.
Wills- Kettering, Northants here. Fingers crossed they're open today. I've had this blooming thing for over 2 weeks now.
Slink- You need to rest hun. Make sure you get your feet up.

Wills · 07/04/2006 08:04

HK, Ah no I'm in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire.

Slink, I agree with HK you need to rest honey. Are you excited about tomorrow or just nervous. If nervous why don't you go back to them and demand they look properly!

BP is still high around 88 but not critical. Its just that with dd2 once it started to creep up it never came back down. I sort of see it as a sign that I'm coming towards the end of my pregnancy which at 33+5 should have been bleeding obvious. I suppose whats worrying me is that dh hasn't really recovered from his operation yet and I need him to be well to take over the 2 girls to allow me to focus on little one for a couple of weeks until I can find my feet again. And I haven't got anything ready and I'm going away for 10 days tomorrow and and and..... Sorry, have panic'd a little. Need to chill and persaude friends to wash and iron baby clothes/bedding etc - not that I suspect they'll need much persausion Grin.

HellKat · 07/04/2006 08:09

Ohhh Wills, small world. I used to live near there. Enfield. Used to regularly nip into Cuffley & Goffs Oak.'

Wills · 07/04/2006 08:15

What on earth where you nipping to Cuffley for? There's not a lot of things here Grin

HellKat · 07/04/2006 08:24

Lol probably a pub or something, that many years now can't remember. Did remember though had a crappy train station lol.

Wills · 07/04/2006 08:29

Yes!

HellKat · 07/04/2006 08:37

Decided my boobs have a life of their own. Went up to a respectable 36D (after being a little 34b/c) and noticed that they'd got alot firmer, tender and looked bigger. Sure enough bought a bra yesterday and it fits!!! Wait for it.....................38D!!!!!!!!! My milk has'nt even come in yet so dread to think how much bigger they'll get. Hmmmmmmmm may start a thread talking about my every increasing boob saga Wink

mygirllolipop · 07/04/2006 08:50

Slink – hope it wasn’t a show but they’re being a pain in the proverbial sorting you out.
Wills – sorry you are having bp probs, keep thinking those fantasy island thoughts.
I'm off up north today will tell family. Won't be able to post much for a week so I wish everyone luck and will speak to you all later

twocatsonthebed · 07/04/2006 09:37

morning all,

Hope all of the infections/blood pressure/"strange green jellyfish" Grin are feeling better this morning. I merely feel like a grouchy old sod because I haven't slept properly for weeks. Hope this sorts itself out, otherwise I will be a wreck.

And HK, I started out as a 34F, am already a 34FF, and frankly dreading what kind of armour-plated bra I shall end up in if I get to the end of this pregnancy... I already regularly lose portions of my lunch down them, if they get much bigger I shall lose cutlery and quite possibly the cats too.

Hope everyone else is well. Why's it stopped being sunny when it's my day off?

Wills · 07/04/2006 09:40

Oh dear 2 cats. I started as a 30E but am now a 34F but know from past experience that during bf will go to a 34.... J. Dh delights in calling them over the shoulder boulder holders!

twocatsonthebed · 07/04/2006 09:45

weeps gently in anticipation of least glamorous bra of all time

Still, looking on the bright side, when I'm done the cats can use it as hammock.

petunia · 07/04/2006 11:34

Morning all,
Well, 37wks today. Think I'm feeling slightly better although wish I could get a decent nights sleep. Still full of cold, as are DDs so they're both off school/playgroup today. At least they're finishing for Easter today so no school run for 2 weeks. Will be dispatching DH off to buy cranberry juice in case I do have an infection later on today. Oh how I hate that stuff!

I don't even want to think about how big my boobs have got. I just grab whatever bra looks big enough and put it on!

wools · 07/04/2006 12:09

Petunia, 37 weeks - wow. You're nearly there. You need to get your strength back deffo with what you have coming up. Hope you feel better soon.

2nd trimestar here I come, 13 weeks today.

slinkstah · 07/04/2006 12:24

morning all:)
im up late today, kids were so quite bless em, made there own brekkie too- its fab having an almost 9 year old!

hk hope the docs are open today. and im jealous of your big paparooniesGrin im still a B.

wills - why are you going away for 10 days? I have heard that an epsom salt baths bring BP down so its something you could try. (sorry for going on about epsom salts again)

petunia - arghhh 37 weeks today! you have reached TERM we should celebrate:)

wools congrats on 13 weeks:) Thats one of the biggest milestones.

Wills · 07/04/2006 15:06

Wools - many congrats as that's the biggie!!!

Am going away to the house that will in a few months/weeks time be our home. We rented a house so we could sell our old one quickly we just didn't anticipate finding a new one and buying sooooo quickly. not complaining much other than we now have rental AND a mortgage so its a little ouchy. On the up side we decided we'd have the baby in the rental house as we're surrounded by friends who will all descend upon us to help us out when little one comes. When we finally move we wont know a soul for 100s of miles. V. scarey. Saying that though we love being "at home" and given that dd1 (age 6) is off for Easter we thought we'd spend the next 10 days there. I'm hoping that given how chilled out and happy I always feel when I get there that the bp will go down although realitistically as its got nothing to do with stress I suspect that it wont. I suppose my biggest concern is my dh because he's looking so ill still. The thought of both of being completed wasted (i.e. after baby comes) with terrible nights etc is a little frightening.

BIG BOOBS ARE NOTHING TO BE JEALOUS ABOUT!!! Blooming things wont fit into anything pretty at the moment. Cross your heart bras was not what I thought my wardrobe would consist of. Grin

Wills · 07/04/2006 15:08

I'm not sure if we've got a phone line connected down there yet so if I disappear for a long time may you all have wonderful gorgeous Easters. Wont stop me thinking of you all. (although not going possibly until tomorrow morning so I'll be back on but wanted to warn/say goodbye just in case). Pregnant brain and all that Grin

Wills · 07/04/2006 15:09

And Pet... get better soon honey.

petunia · 07/04/2006 15:24

Wills- thanks so much. You have a good Easter too. Maybe you need the break to help your bp and your DH needs it to help him get better.
I'll be OK once I get rid of this cold but I shall dose myself up on cranberry and orange juice. Get myself ready for the event after Easter!

wools · 07/04/2006 17:26

Wills, have a great break Hope it does you and your dh the world of good. How exciting that you will soon be living in that part of the world for good.

desperatehousewife · 07/04/2006 17:50

Am now 10 weeks (this preg is taking FOREVER!!!) and have told the family - which felt really odd. A few people seemed genuinely surprised that I'm preg so soon after my stillbirth (only 2 month gap) and I felt myself justifying myself which is bonkers. Anyway, told DS yesterday as well - he is nearly 4 and knows something is up because I'm feeling so bloody grim all the time. He was so fantastically excited. I still can't quite believe it and I won't until I have a real, breathing baby in my arms. This is going to be the longest 9 months!

Sorry for ramble there, just had to 'share'!!

SnowBoo · 07/04/2006 19:57

Well ds got a right kicking this morning and was soooo happy! We were snuggling up watching Lazytown (as you do!) and baby started kicking him! He then started talking to baby bro and the kicking went wild! It was so nice to see after the m/c. Ds has been stressed out too in recent weeks, poor love. But i've been eating well and resting so feeling more positive.

Can't actually remember the recent threads, forgot them by time i started posting this one...Blush

Hope all are doing well and having a nice relaxing Friday!

Wills · 08/04/2006 06:43

Well I finally got BT to move line to us yesterday night BUT they can't officially move it until the 21st April as its with another company. Don't ask! So its extremely unlikley that I'm gonna be on here for another week or so. God it feels like I'm loosing my comfort blanket. We're off in a couple of hours so... Happy Easter everyone, wishing you all the best girls.

HellKat · 08/04/2006 08:39

Morning all.
Wills - Have a great time.
Mygirl- You too hun.

Already tucked into 1 big choccy egg last ngight lol Grin

Have a great weekend all. Finally started on my anti-biotics so hoping it'll ease this backache and help with this horrid tiredness. I want to be doing lots and have no energy.
xxxxxxxxxxxx

petunia · 08/04/2006 17:09

Afternoon all,
Hellkat, looks like I'll be joining you on the antibiotics. Got a letter today from the triage dept at the hospital (from my episode with the "tiny pile" last Monday). Turns out I have got a urine infection. So I'll have to get to the Drs sometime this week and see if they want to prescribe antibiotics.
Otherwise, I'm feeling a lot better. Actually had a reasonable nights sleep. Have also been gulping down the cranberry juice, good job I can't taste the stuff because of my cold!

Hope everyone's having a great Saturday.
