mrsmaddyd- that's excellent news. Bet you're ready for a sleep now having been up so early!

Wills · 21/03/2006 12:41

Congrats Maddy

Wills · 21/03/2006 12:41

Congrats Maddy

Arabica · 21/03/2006 12:48

Great news MaddyD!
Wills, sounds like a great plan for the future. I'd like to live by the sea one day but DH has forest fantasies! I think it's cos he was born in Iceland where there are very few trees.
I am feeling pretty ghastly but at least time is passing fairly quickly as I have been busy today. Am off to do a little bit of supermarket shopping and then treat myself to my favourite lunch (noodle soup). Then it's home to tidy the flat a bit, it's a complete tip.
Only 25hrs 15min to my scan...

mrsmaddyd · 21/03/2006 12:51

Good Luck with yours Arabcia.

Petunia ill probably crash on the sofa about 3ish with c beebies babysittibg the toddlers

cori · 21/03/2006 12:59

congratulations mrsmaddyd its a babyGrin a virgo baby too! he/she will be tidy:)

wills so your leaving london for ramsgate! your crazy for moving whilst pg, ihope it all goes smoothly

diddle if your tired all the time make sure your iron count hasn't lowered, baby takes loads from you at this point in pg

arabica- have been thinking of you hun. 1 more sleep to scan.

baby has been very quite recently and some days i do worry, i told prof this the other day but she seemed unbothered so i have been trying to wake him up with music, i have headphones tucked in my knickers with radio 3 classical stuff blaring into him, surely he will wake up soon!

SnowdropsInTheSpring · 21/03/2006 13:43

Had my scan. Went ok apart from baby's tummy being too big for the dates. Sonographer said dr will explain possible reasons. Saw a different dr, not my nice usual one, looked at my notes, said nothing at all, sent me off to come back in two weeks. So not actually sure whats wrong....
Bit concerned but not going to panic yet....

Hope you are all well, not read thread yet, will do that with a cuppa later!

diddle · 21/03/2006 14:17

snowdropsinspring - how much bigger was baby's tummy, ours was bigger than my due date by about 5 days, as was the head.
They weren;t concerned though.

Slink - thank you will keep an eye on my iron intake.

mamas and papas have just arrived with a replacement dresser for us, as the last one was dented. They have also handed me about £50 worht of free toys, as an apology. how nice, got me very excited!!!!

diddle · 21/03/2006 14:18

mrsmaddyd - fab news on your scan, excellent, a baby what a relief, i'm sure i'm having an elephant.

slinkstah · 21/03/2006 14:53

snowdrop- my last baby had a bigger for dates belly and the sonograpgher said baby was just fat. there was never any concern about it, so hopefully alls well with your lo
diddlingdoodle- fab about your free toys for baby, have you set everything up yet?

Arabica · 21/03/2006 15:21

Snowdrops, sorry to hear about the scan, of course you are going to worry--and 2 weeks is a very, very long time to wait. Having googled all my scan results the minute I got home and then scared myself stupid, I'm not sure I recommend doing the same.

Missmibaby · 21/03/2006 15:22

I was reading through my diary and around 25 weeks I was told the baby was about a week ahead of the due date in size - they didn't change the due date and he arrived 3 days late 7.7lbs average. I don't think people in the medical profession think and they ae matter of fact about things that we get anxious about.

I've just been to the hairdressers only to discover a bald patch Shock

diddle · 21/03/2006 15:40

slink - yep the nursery is all ready for baby now, well apart from some sheets that we need to get. Then we need a baby to put in it. Grin

SnowdropsInTheSpring · 21/03/2006 15:46

Thanks ladies, feel a lot more relaxed. Possibly all the 'oranges' (choc Grin i have been munching... Oh well, just means more pushing Shock

mygirllolipop · 21/03/2006 17:29

Congrats on scans gone well girls, and good luck for 2moro's scans.
I'm at Docs and GymBabes 2moro, plus bits and pieces to be done in town. All the Dr is doing is filling in forms to give to the MW.

HellKat · 21/03/2006 17:33

Hiya all.
Maddy- great news!!!!!
Snow- Our little one has a "pudge" too and i'm convinced it's all the crap i craved early on Wink
Slink- Try rock music lol ds1 & 2 loved it Grin

How's everyone?

Arabica · 21/03/2006 19:08

Snowdrops, I have also been enjoying the tranquilising effects of chocolate this afternoon. Day's gone quite quick actually...

wools · 21/03/2006 19:34

Hope everyone's okay. Good luck for your scan tomorrow Arabica. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better.

SnowdropsInTheSpring · 21/03/2006 20:18

My friend (childless i might add) reckons he's bigger than his dates from all the oranges and juice i craved at the begining.
Anyone else heard of this????

Have had a chat to my mum etc and they all say not to worry. Mum was told i was a tiny baby, not growing at all and i turned out to be her biggest! So just had Creme Egg and am now duly satisfied Grin

jamiesam · 21/03/2006 22:39

Wills - I'm a bit behind on catching up but I'm shocked by your erotic dream revelations Blush Grin.lol. But also, you sound to be having such a hard time at the moment, can I could send you a virtual hug.

Good news on latest scans I think - Snowdrops, I bet Missmibaby is right and Drs just don't realise how we worry over the things they 'want to keep an eye on'. Good luck for tomorrow Arabica.

Oh, and Hellkat - I'm so pleased it's 'only' spd. Hope that makes sense.

I've just got my first scan date through - in just over two weeks time when I will be nearly 11 weeks. If someone could just knock me out, because the waiting is going to drive me mad! I'm wildly excited at the moment - like when I got my bfp, felt I could rule the world Grin

HellKat · 22/03/2006 06:25

Morning all.
Arabica- Good luck today!
Jamiesam- Yep know exactly what you mean. I feel the same. As long as my back & spd are getting worse it means the pg is growing away! Grin

How's everyone?

diddle · 22/03/2006 08:03

Morning HK - has he sun reached northants yet? its bright here this morning, cold but sunny.

Arabica - good luck for today, we'll be thinking of you
