Welcome 2cats - (I'll say what I said to G4P) we meet again. Hi honey!
I'm gonna ring Dr's 2moro as I don't feel I'm tempting fate as much.

cori · 08/03/2006 20:12

I second what Wills said. I am 32 weeks, you will eventually start to believe that your pregnant, but at the same time not quite believe that you are ever going to get to the hold the baby your carrying. I had a very dark moment the other night, whilst worrying about lack of movements. Imagined that I would have a still birth and that I sank into a black hole I could never get out of. But am feeling fine now, and baby is moving again so have breathed a sigh of relief.

Hi two cats lovely to see you on here. i know im pregnant and it cant be an ectopic but now due to abdo surgery im worried i will m/c and it will some how be missed cause i havent bled etc. Nutty i know but there are all sorts of things going on in my head.

On a lighter note i gave in to the choccie craving and ate one of ds frozen milk lols Blush

going4potty · 08/03/2006 20:48

..... and a twix bar

twocatsonthebed · 08/03/2006 22:29

thankyou everyone for the lovely welcome - I'm going to do my best to stick around!

and g4p - I know exactly what you mean - I had a missed miscarriage and I think that what I dread most, even more than just another miscarriage, is walking around thinking I'm pregnant even when I'm not. So I'm compensating by refusing to believe I'm pregnant - even though I have a bust like 2 rocks which already enters a room 2 minutes before I do...

Arabica · 08/03/2006 23:33

Hello 2 cats! I'm 19wks and I second what Cori says. I do believe I'm pregnant but can't quite accept that there is going to be a live, healthy baby at the end of it.
I already feel like I have been pregnant forever, though. It really helped to be able to go to the EPAU for check-up scans--I had one at 8wks, & when they read my notes they saw previous (missed) m/c was at 9+6, so had scans at 10wks and 12wks. Then they leave you to it until 20wks!

HellKat · 09/03/2006 07:26

Morning all.
Wahoooooo 2nd trimester here I am! Grin
13 wks today!!! Wow it's going so quickly!!

How's everyone today?

going4potty · 09/03/2006 08:23

Hi hk and anyone else awake yet. Pmsl at the rock like bust 2cats, but youve hit the nail on the head. Its a strange feeling not believing yourself and body. Especially if like me you tend to listen to what your body says iykwim.

twocatsonthebed · 09/03/2006 08:37

Morning all, how's everyone?

HK - that's good news,

and Arabica - all of that reassurance with the early scans sounds great. Sadly, I've moved away from the lovely EPU in London who dealt with my miscarriage, who said that if I was pregnant again I could go in any time for a scan. But have a very nice dr here, who is trying to get me an early scan, and an early appointment with the consultant, so we'll see.

And now, work. Hey ho.

petunia · 09/03/2006 08:46

Morning all,
Hellkat- excellent, you've hit 13 wks.

I've had a terrible night. Baby and I were awake from 2-5am. And then baby got hic-cups! Guess that was the best thing about being awake at those times! DH has taken DD1 to school so I'm going to try and get some sleep (if DD2 will allow it!) on the sofa this morning.

mygirllolipop · 09/03/2006 09:10

Morning,
G4P and 2cats - I can relate to the huge bust! I already heave FF from BF'ing but I don't fit into those bras now! Where am I gonna put them? I also have nausea and hunger, can't believe it! I'm gonna ring Dr today and get an appointment. Left it until now because I kept thinking (and still do) that af will arrive.

mygirllolipop · 09/03/2006 09:11

Oh and HK with all my love pls don't post a link to the 'tripe' thread! Grin only joking my lovely

going4potty · 09/03/2006 09:32

Wow my girl my bust is no where in you league big for me is a c cup Blush Grin !

going4potty · 09/03/2006 10:16

Can i ask you ladies something? Ive been having excessive saliva and bit tmi here but its realy thick and its making me feel all bunged up and sick, i never had it when i had ds is this normal?

mygirllolipop · 09/03/2006 11:32

G4P I remember reading excessive saliva is a pg symptm.
Well I've made an appointment for the Dr, earlisest one is a week 2moro.

going4potty · 09/03/2006 11:44

Good luck with that my girl. Im gonna moan now, eventhough im so happy to pe pregnant i feel crap and have actually started being properly sick now Sad

wools · 09/03/2006 12:02

Hi everyone,

Sorry about the excess saliva G4P, that's a new one on me. I can't believe some of the symptoms we suffer from in pregnancy.

Congratulations HK on reaching the 2nd trimester - how exciting!!

going4potty · 09/03/2006 12:48

Hi wools i know strange isnt it? How are you doing?

wools · 09/03/2006 12:54

Fine thanks G4P, got the horrible nausea but not actually being sick - strangely find the nausea quite comforting as it's proof that the baby is still there. I'm looking forward to passing the 12 week stage and then I think I will relax a bit more. Although, having said that I am a born worrier and will undoubtedly find something new to worry about.

slinkstah · 09/03/2006 13:05

welcome g4p and twocats:)

HK-whoohoo 2nd trimester:)
petunia- hope your sleeping:)

all this talk of big boobies is making me jealous im STILL a B cup grrrrrrr!

25 weeks today:) its going so slowly. next hurdle is 28 if i can make that i might start thinking theres a chance of going to term.

going4potty · 09/03/2006 13:06

dH SAys im the same, 12 weeks seems so far cause im waiting to tell folk!!!

wools · 09/03/2006 13:27

Good news on getting to 25 weeks Slink, roll on the 28 week mark.

How many weeks are you G4P?

mygirllolipop · 09/03/2006 13:58

Good news u r still with us slink, 3 more weeks isn't asking for too much. Tell that baby from me, it better stay there for at least 3 more weeks!

petunia · 09/03/2006 14:14

Slink- nope, no sleep here yet and I've got to go and get DD1 in 3/4 hr, so don't want to drop off and oversleep. Might try and get a nap in after I get back.
