Hello, all. Can someone add me to list as can't do it on phone. Due date around 11th may. Only symptoms are slightly tender boobs and tired all the time. Have had some spotting but that seems to have calmed down in the last few days. Still can't quite believe it's happened. Got midwife appointment on 17th October and scan on 28th October. Trying not to too excited until then but seems an age away! Have told close family and best friends. Everyone else will be told if all ok at scan. Am having difficulty not telling the whole world though! :o Am rubbish at keeping secrets! Especially when they're this epic!

What is it?

It's the bleeding after birth - like a heavy period.... Can last up to 8 weeks!
That's what google said anyway.
On a separate note, how are people finding the hormone/emotions? Personally am finding the mornings a rollercoaster.... Was just fighting tears at the fact that one of the England players scored a try.... lol!

I'd like to join too! First pregnancy, definitely unplanned (a honeymoon baby) but very much wanted now after my initial terror. I'm due the 18th of May. So far, mainly feeling pretty tired, and very nauseous.
I was very lucky to get a six-week scan, not that I could see much, but there was at least a heartbeat!

Ha ha Wommer I cried at the end of a POW movie last night and for the whole 2 hrs of the lake house last week (even adverts can set me off!)

I'm also in the few symptoms camp, was knackered yesterday, but think that was due to dog barking in night, having to wake up to pee at least twice and DH is getting up at 5.15 am for work. Other than that slightly sore blobs and "the hunger" (but I already suffered from that!). Have wondered about doing another test to check, but could get expensive!

Re Dr appts, I've got booking in on 14th Oct when i'll be 10 ish weeks, and will book scan after that, hoping it won't be too long to wait so we can tell everyone else!

Obviously sore blobs should read boobs but predictive text on phone thought otherwise!

Whereas i am a shouting screaming mess at my children, then snapping at my husband, and then and suddenly sweetness and light and terribly calm. Yuk! Tell you what, its not doing much for its case either! Must remember that. Off to Mum's - probably why I am shouting - terrified of what she will say. Not sure if I want her to think its a good idea or bad, either way, not sure what to do. Will let you know.

Well gone up a whole cup size and they ache like mad but still other than that seem to be escaping the sickness for now not so tearful ATM just very relaxed and happy but I do know how you feel widget as I had the same with my 4th and it was horrible, I hope you can come to a decision your happy with

So 5 1/2 weeks in (Doc gave DD of 24th May). Not getting sore boobs, but my nipples are permanently erect and are sore at the slightest touch. Also having regular grumbles low down and spent most of yesterday morning in work feeling like I was going to be sick - I thought morning sickness was supposed to come in a bit later? Not so bad today though - maybe it was the office...

Not looking forward too much for the bigger boobs though - I'm already an F-FF cup!!

Hi got BFP this morning EDD 30th may!! Very excited Got a 25 month old DS and I'm 23!
Going to keep things as quiet as possible till 12 weeks. Have few concerns as my DS was born 6 weeks prem so trying not 2 stress or panic!! Hopefully when get to see the midwife they will agree 2 monitor me more!!

Hello! Can I join? Got my BFP yesterday, I reckon I'm due late May but haven't calculated it properly yet. Second time around, I've got a 15 month old dd who is keeping me so busy I haven't really had chance to think about symptoms. I did get a sudden lump in the throat this morning though when I saw a bride being photographed in the park, so the hormones must be kicking in! And I felt nauseous at soft play the other day, but it's stinky enough in there to turn anyone's stomach.

rhubarb I know what you mean about softplay I had to leave dh there earlier it was so hot there and the smell was awful it's the first time I've felt really ill

I'd like to join please. I got my BFP on Tuesday. It all feels very surreal at the moment. I can't believe you have to wait until week 12 to confirm everything's ok. That seems ages away.

Symptoms so far are just very gassy and sore boobs. I had a couple of days of extreme tiredness last week, but ok at the mo.

I was just looking how many on this thread and thinking what are the odds that at least one of us will be carrying twins just a thought

CODwidow, my DS has been saying all day that he's going to have two baby brothers to push around in a pram - he doesn't even know I'm pregnant! Something has convinced him that he's getting two babies to play with, though

What a list!!! Seems strange that so many ppl all over r goin thro the same! that's double the amount of sore boobs!!

markettle my ds said to mr about 4 weeks ago "you have a baby in your belly' I didn't even know myself then but he seemed so convinced, strange

I know my dp said the other day about food shopping, and said I'm going to be
Eating for FIVE of us now! And I said, well there are only three of us so do you think
There are 2 babies in there!? And then I've seen twins everywhere too.

But we have our name for a girl and I saw a little girl with this name the other day.

(His exact same thing happened with dd. We had a girls name, didn't know the gender
But saw a few girls with her name!

Bizarre!
