iowmum88 · 08/10/2011 15:26

No one has mentioned the flu jab to me yet. Never really suffered from the flu though so don't no if I would bother.

Is anyone else having a 2nd child or more and finding that they never felt like this the 1st time round? I never felt this nauseous or this tired!!

Dozeyland · 08/10/2011 16:45

Snap. Other than slight tiredness with dd, and a spell of headaches at 7/8weeks that was it.

This time I am sooooo tired (will be 8weeks on monday) maybe there are more factors
That I am still breastfeeding her, and she still feeds in the night? Very content and good baby. But just hungry I guess, and
Loves mummy's comfort???

not sure how I feel about tandem feeding either.. She will be 1.5yrs when baby is born. So should be well onto normal foods and she has water etc.
But just think I will be soooo worn out feeding two?!

Anyone else still feeding?

Hi all,
Sooooooo tired today. Still no m/s but have got all the other symptoms - boobs, mood swings etc.
Got an email round about the flu jab at work the other day. Wouldn't normally bother so don't think I'm gonna do it this year.
Not sure if there's any risk associated with it but would rather not chance it I think.
Xx

7lamby · 08/10/2011 17:54

Hi all, not much symptoms here just a little stressed and short tempered! I had a scan last week (7 weeks I think) but sadly no heart beat but they told me not to get too disheartened and are scanning me again on Tuesday, one reason they think is that they saw 1 gestational sac and 2 yok sacs!!! Maybe they are just taking longer to develop. Tuesday is a big day and I 'm really scared of every outcome! I've got 2 boys already 6 and 4 and the thought of another 2 scares me silly but the thought that there might be nothing is almost imaginable. Keep your fingers crossed please ladies

WidgetWB · 08/10/2011 18:51

Posting because no one has all day - very unlike us all! Hope all ok and coping with MS! hippieshake I am very very toned - (to the point I decided enough was enough and it was almost wrong and childlike), and haven't had too bad pains but when I was in early stages of preg with ds1 I was in agony and they said the same thing! Out of interest - is your body changing shape already? I am running furiously and doing army training twice a week and pilates and am already feeling and seeing the change, clearly my body has been here too often already! Serves me right for eating so much more, albeit mostly healthy stuff, I just am starving and feel sick if I don't eat. Anyone else? Everyone else ok?

WidgetWB · 08/10/2011 18:51

Ahh - and then my page properly refreshed and suddenly I see people have posted - sorry for the last one!

WidgetWB · 08/10/2011 18:54

7lamby am crossing all fingers and toes for you. am sure you will be fine. Am sure also that everyone will be thinking of you all day on tuesday, please do let us know as soon as you can. Good luck and try to stay positive. x

hippieshake · 09/10/2011 07:42

Widget I haven't really changed shape yet. I do have quite a bloated stomach, although I think that's more to do with how sick I feel than anything else. I'm like you, if I don't eat I feel really sick, but then I feel sick if I do eat. Apparantly the more sick you feel, the more chance there is that everything's going okay though. So everytime I feel fed up with it, I just remind myself that. When did your pains start to ease off?

7lamby I'm keeping everything crossed for you xx

Hi winnie3 course your welcome the more support the better!

Had a nice walk and play in the park this morning with my DS and the fresh air seems to av done me the world of good.

Tried on my maternity bras earlier from 1st pregnancy and they fit now!!!!! They are 38DD!!! I'm only 6+4 weeks!! Not looking good on the boob front!!! I forgot how comfy they are but sooooo unattractive!

Wommer · 09/10/2011 21:39

Argh!!!!!! Drunk MIL just announced it on Facebook!!! Damage limitation is swinging into action..... FFS argh!!!!
Cannot believe this....
AngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

iowmum88 · 09/10/2011 21:48

Oh dear!! My DP has pretty much done the same told one of his mates and then his mate went and told my cousin I was not very happy but I understand he's excited.
But genuinely don't think men (may just be my DP) don't understand the risk of MC in first 12 weeks unless it's actually happened!
But was fuming as he did this when I was pregnant with my DS and his mate posted it on facebook!!
I swear I would get rid of that site if it wasn't for the fact it keeps me in contact with family!!!

CODwidow · 09/10/2011 23:00

Hiya all, not posted for a bit but still been reading everyone's posts,

apart from tiredness still feeling pretty good tbh so if alls well I may have one of those lovely pregnancies people talk about Smile 5th time lucky hey Smile

Well just filled out my paperwork for my booking in on thursday and feeling a little Blush at the fact I fill all the previous pregnancy history, I hope the midwife likes big families Smile

BlueCrane · 10/10/2011 10:54

Morning all...MS has kicked in fully this weekend and this morning I have had my debut 'office toilet puking session' and still feeling queasy...just trying to eat some toast but can't face my usual cup of tea - getting rather bored with water! So so tired but last night couldn't sleep as the insomnia seems to have returned and because I was full of wind Blush

How is everyone else today?

Russki · 10/10/2011 12:44

hello all

great to hear everyone's experiences. I have been feeling very sick, and have lost almost all interest in food except, strangely, things that are bad for me like sweets and pork crackling. Was hoping that something in my body would kick in, urging me to eat healthily, but instead reverting to all my bad habits.

otherwise, i'm at a loss as to why my hair is falling out while pregnant (more so than usual), when everyone seems to say that hair should stop falling out during pregnancy, and fall out after the baby is out.

anyway, dying to get to the 12 week mark - am now 8w3. have told family, but have to keep stopping myself from spilling it to others. Ah well, not so very long now..

AstroNess · 10/10/2011 14:00

Hi all

Come 2ish everyday the tiredness hits me. I can feel it now. I want to go and sneak off and have a nap somewhere. The only option at work though seems to be the loo- not too appealing!

Sorry for all those with MS.

I think our list is getting all confuzzled with duplications and what not. Although I don't have the energy to sort it out right now.

QueSeraSera24 · 11/10/2011 07:34

Hiya everyone!
Thought i'd join in the list an say that from my guestimations my EDD is 24th May!

not such a happy story my end, pregnancy was a total shock as i broke up with my fiance a few months ago and have only just move my stuff out! Have been seeing a new guy and have now fallen pregnant! (Definitely not the ex's by the way)
He's completely freaking and wants me to have an abortion which i really don't want to do. I even had the abortion booked but also had a trip to Australia booked with my parents to visit my sister in Perth so the doctor said i couldn't do anything till i got back. So here i am in Aus, convinced now that i'm keeping the baby and although i've told my bf that i have been feeling that way inclined, i intend to tell him today that i'm definitely keeping it.
No one in Aus knows and it's impossible to plow through the MS and tiredness without anyone noticing! Can't tell them just yet though cos i know my dad is going to get mad and it needs to be somewhere that everyone can go to their corners and take a breather.
I'm 22 by the way and right now i'm getting pretty excited despite all the drama!

Hello everyone! GL May mums!

AstroNess · 11/10/2011 11:17

Welcome to the bus que. Sorry to hear about the difficult situation you're in.
There's a list somewhere you can add your name to.

I've just had a call from the midwife and booking appt is Thursday. I'm looking forward to getting things moving. Grin

Wommer · 11/10/2011 13:25

Hi Quesera,
Welcome on board - Good luck with everything - sounds like you definitely know what you want which has gotta make things easier in a tricky situation. Obviously you know best, but your dad might surprise you... Mine did! He's soooo excited about being a grandad, which I'd never have expected.

After p1ssed-MIL-gate on Sunday (she was hammered and posted on Facebook that I was pg...Angry - hb went postal....) have got my 4 closest friends coming round for dinner tonight and plan on telling them.
At the moment at least 2 people know (thanks to MIL) who I'd rather not yet and I don't want my closest friends finding out from some random....
Also, massive touchwood, if something awful did happen would certainly want their support, so can't see a downside really.
One of them is already pg - she was the first of us to make the leap - and is due end of nov. Will be fantastic to tell her and be able to compare notes.

Only reason I haven't done it already is cos I wanted to make sure I knew how I felt about it myself before opening it up to outside scrutiny...

Again with the massive ramble!
Xx

7lamby · 11/10/2011 20:09

I understand telling close friends, we have done that. They are the ones that would help us through the bad times.

Had follow up scan today Sad on the positive side they have grown a little but on the negative by measurements they would put me at around 5 weeks! This is just simple not possible. Maybe too much info but we know the last day we, well you know, so know we can't be 5 weeks. My husband is telling me to stay positive and that it was good news but it's soooooo difficult Sad

I hope you are all feeling ok and not suffering too much xx

CODwidow · 11/10/2011 21:36

7lamby I'm sorry you dont seem to be any further forward, did they give you any explanation or a follow up appt? X

7lamby · 11/10/2011 22:01

No just that maybe my dates are wrong. They are going to re scan me a week on Friday. I just want to know Sad

Wommer · 12/10/2011 14:02

Ah 7lamby hope they get it sorted for you soon - fingers crossed!
I had a bit more bleeding this am... it's probably nothing, but it was more than last time and has me worried. It could be a sort if hangover of a period I guess - if I wasn't pg I'd be expecting AF around now.
Anyway - i phoned mw who has me booked in for an early scan tomorrow morning.
Just gonna try and not imagine the worst until then... In fact going to try not to think about it at all!
Xxx
