Hi! I thought I'd better start a new thread now because it might get busy tomorrow morning and I don't want to lose you all Grin

I didn't know about the limit. I'm still completely humbled that I've had so many well-wishers Smile, so I feel a little self conscious. Although I think we've all been led down this path by the baby somewhat!

Am completely knackered tonight so will say goodnight and will endeavour to keep you posted on happenings tomorrow.

Thanks once again for keeping me company xxx

Aww, I can't believe you've hung on so long!
Wishing you a speedy delivery and lots of love.

My guess is a girl, 5 lb 0.5 oz!

Good luck Grin

Habbibu · 09/02/2011 10:28

Capreece · 09/02/2011 10:44

Still waiting :-)

Dying of curiosity!

NonnoMum · 09/02/2011 10:45

The most important thing is you and your baby right now. So if it means you have to ignore MNers, we won't be offended!

johnworf · 09/02/2011 10:49

Girl, 4lb 11oz. 19.05 GMT Wink

johnworf · 09/02/2011 10:50

fannybaws · 09/02/2011 11:58

Hi Southsea hope you are labouring nicely by now and not still waiting, you have been sooooo patient already.
You are now 34+3 I think which is so amazing and your little one might not need too much neonatal help hopefullySmile
For the prediction, I think you will have a lovely little boy, at 2230 usa time today and he will weigh 5lb 1oz.
xxxxxxxxxxx
Oh so exciting.
Oh Cormac got weighed this morning and is now 6lb 5oz at 6 weeks so HUGE lol.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 09/02/2011 11:58

Damn, so it was all a wind up then? Southsea is in fact a 62 year old woman who lives in a maisonette in Chipping Sodbury with her elderly cat?

Saturday, 2.13am whatever time zone you're not in. Girl. 4lb 3.5oz

Liz79 · 09/02/2011 12:41

Ooh this is exciting, thought of southsea when I woke this morning :)

DanJARMouse · 09/02/2011 13:09

Fingers crossed for some action today! x

anythingwithagiraffeonit · 09/02/2011 13:35

GwendolineMaryLacey sorry for thread hijack but what is your name from?? Its bugging me so much, I'm sure I know it! x

eatyourveg · 09/02/2011 13:37

As NonnoMum says, every day pebble stays put is a good thing even though there'll be MNers who have nails bitten to pieces and all their hair torn out waiting for news, you just take your time girl, take all the time in the world! As the saying goes- the greatest things come to those who wait.

monkey32 · 09/02/2011 13:37

Ooh that is good news that your tummy button is right out as that means Pebble is in the optimum position for birthing with his/her back facing the front. Learned that little titbit on One Born Every Minute!

Good luck for the induction whenever it happens...

Southsearocks · 09/02/2011 13:53

Noon. Today. Bricking it. Confused

Good morning/afternoon! Super-Nurse Carol just came in to let me know they are discharging a load of people this morning. I'll be moved to the labour room about ten thirty and the plan is to put the Cervidil in around noon, so I guess that will take me to midnight and they'll decide then whether to put another in or start the drip, which will force labour. I'm hoping I'll get another Cervidil so I can have the baby in the day time tomorrow, but these things never go to plan eh? 10th Feb sounds like a good day to have a baby. S/he will be 34 + 3 by then - not bad at all.

I am really nervous now! Hells bells. I'm conscious that I am not, in fact, the first woman to have a baby and am making quite a fuss but it is a fear of the unknown. And hey, also be prepared for the fact that it might get delayed again if there are new emergencies. The suspense is killing us all!!!

MN could do with a ticker tape thing along the bottom for people to put their news and updates on.

I will be back. Somebody have a stiff virtual G&T waiting......

OP posts:
Flisspaps · 09/02/2011 13:56

So it's what, 9ish there now?

Have no G&T, but have a Wine to tide you over!

Flisspaps · 09/02/2011 13:56

And tickers...no - that way madness lies!

mohara · 09/02/2011 13:57

Southsea, big hugs to you-you have been amazingly resilient and positive, and its been lovely to keep up with your progress here.......you have been strong all of these weeks for pebble and you will be strong again today, I know it!

Although, you DO know you will have left a HUGE hole in a lot of peoples lives once we have heard your good news?!! Grin

Hey, maybe you could start a new thread telling us all about the first days of motherhood.......you could have a new career as a blogger !

Good luck Wine

oooggs · 09/02/2011 14:19

feb 10th sounds fab!!!!

Odelay · 09/02/2011 14:24

(American accent). You go girl!

Good luck x

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 09/02/2011 14:28

GML's name is Malory Towers, no?

Fingers crossed for you, southsea. Get on twitter and tweet @MNTowers (or whatever it's called) then it'll come up in the scrolly box thing.

thefurryone · 09/02/2011 14:29

Another lurker, good luck Southsea hope it all goes well later, sounds like you have a good team of people around you.

Ps Lots of my friends & family (DH included) have birthdays early Feb and they are all lovely so very good time for a birthday.

Habbibu · 09/02/2011 14:30

Oh, I'm getting very excited!

loueytb3 · 09/02/2011 14:31

Very best of luck Southsea. I've been reading your thread from the beginning and have the utmost admiration for the way in which you have handled a really tough situation. I'm not surprised you are nervous - any first time mum is and you have the added fun of being in a foreign country. You have so many MN'ers willing you along though and we are all going to be so excited when your baby finally arrives.

I'm going for a girl, 4lbs 12oz, born at 10am on the 10th (US time).

daisyj · 09/02/2011 14:32

Ooh, am posting now to mark the thread. I read a big chunk of the last one and was totally in awe of you southsea. Wishing you very best of luck (and yes, agree with above poster that Aquarians are lovely; my dad is one and he's a saint - in a good way!). 34+3 is fantastic - well done!
