Hi! I thought I'd better start a new thread now because it might get busy tomorrow morning and I don't want to lose you all Grin

I didn't know about the limit. I'm still completely humbled that I've had so many well-wishers Smile, so I feel a little self conscious. Although I think we've all been led down this path by the baby somewhat!

Am completely knackered tonight so will say goodnight and will endeavour to keep you posted on happenings tomorrow.

Thanks once again for keeping me company xxx

thank you.

tiredfeet · 09/02/2011 02:31

Have been lurking while doing night feeds. Wishing you all the best Smile

allyfe · 09/02/2011 04:28

As the others have said, stop worrying about us!!!!!! What is important is that you and pebble are doing well. Oh, and that dp is still in one piece...that the insurance companies haven't ripped you off, and that you are all still able to stay in US...that everyone is being nice to you and that you aren't feeling miserable...oh and that you aren't pulling your hair out at the wait!...and most importantly, that when pebble does come everything goes beautifully for you both..

What is most definitely not important is when exactly it happens from point of view of netmum posters, except for the sweepstake winner. ANd anyway, with all the support here it is just as well you and pebble are enabling a good number of sweep stake options.

goingroundthebend4 · 09/02/2011 04:51

Hope your doing ok and every day Is a bonus hmm I say girl 3.10lb

TechnoKitten · 09/02/2011 05:00

Still cheering you on from the sidelines! I'm voting for boy, 4lb 6oz :)

cluelessnchaos · 09/02/2011 05:01

Marking my place on the new thread, as others have said don't worry about us it's just so exciting, there is such a wonderful about delivering a baby that a whole community is waiting for

smokeybacon · 09/02/2011 05:10

I think you need to tell your medical team that the whole of MN is waiting for this baby to arrive and to get on with it!!!!!!!

You are doing fab.

And my bet is... Girl. Daisy. 3lb 14oz. Thursday lunchtime( US time).

GinSlinger · 09/02/2011 05:34

Cadmum · 09/02/2011 05:35

Hey Southsea, wishing you, DH, and Pebbles all the best from Surrey! i can only imagine how you are feeling at the moment, but there are lots of us on here routing for you all and sending you hugs! for the record, i'm putting my bet on:

Boy, born 11.02.2011 @ 11.21 am (keeping the numbers simple!!) and weighing in at 4lb 9oz.

Don't let me down now!!!

Right, have to get back to work now..... xx

Louii · 09/02/2011 09:03
Hmm

Only kidding,Grin I think a girl, 4lb10oz.
How many weeks again are you?

mohara · 09/02/2011 09:13

Sending good luck to you southsea........hope you are not bumped back again-you must be getting so impatient! x

sparkleshine · 09/02/2011 09:16

arrrgh southsea
I would nicely demand they start you today, surely they have 10 mins to put the pessary up there and leave you to it while they tend too the other ladies...especially if they don't think it will happen straight away Confused

Ok so i'm being impatient...you're obviously more relaxed about the whole thing.

Good luck though for today...again Grin

Im still saying girl and 4lbs 10 but now fri morning instead on thurs (UK time)

barmbrack · 09/02/2011 09:30

Hi all, morning southsea

Just to say - I was in a bit of a similar situation when I had pre-eclampsia with my DTs I was in waiting for 8 days for my c-secton. I got up to the Delivery suite twice and was ready to go in for the anaesthetic when ladies turned up as emergencies and bumped us down the list. It got to the stage where I was eyeing up the ladies in the labour ward thinking "she looks like she'l be alright - don't like the look of that; I think she might end up bumping me down the list.....grrrr Grin

We all became best of friends when we met again in the NICU!! Grin

Have a good day southsea; hope today is the day for you!

Medee · 09/02/2011 09:33
WillbeanChariot · 09/02/2011 09:35

Hello Southsea- haven't been around for a while but have been lurking on and off. Wishing you all the luck in the world. And my money says...

Girl, 3lb 11oz, Friday afternoon UK time

thatsnotmymonster · 09/02/2011 09:37

Just popped back to see if there's any news- not yet apparantly!

MissClavel · 09/02/2011 10:09

This is such a heartwarming story - just caught up with the whole thing.

Good luck Southsea - it must be surreal to be so far from home, and to have hundreds upon hundreds of strangers rooting for you.

Can I say: boy, black hair, 5lb exactly, at 12.20pm on Friday Smile

TooColdForPenguins · 09/02/2011 10:13

Marking place on new thread..
Good luck Southsea, you're being amazingly patient! Pebble is so lucky to have such a calm mum; after this experience you're not going to be phased by some of the more 'challenging' aspects of parenting Grin

I say Boy, 5lbs 5oz, Friday 7am USA time
