Are you ready Rom/Munz???
Cadmum, how's it going over there??
Hi to everyone else!

romilly · 13/02/2006 21:42

ummm... friz, how about going into labour? would that spur d/h into a bit of nursery clearing action?

munz · 14/02/2006 08:35

friz/rom - erm nope in a word not ready as my house is a tip still - well ti's tidy but I can see dirt literally everywhere. althou after last night i've decided this baby's coming out soon i've now had enough of being PG. and DH isn't helping matters either sitting on the computer or laying in the middle of the bed so I've got to try to turn over and get back in the same spot b4 he knicks it def had enough now. ooh and don't like rasp tea.

romilly · 14/02/2006 12:05

lol munz, but aren't you enjoying maternity leave?????

Bella23 · 14/02/2006 14:09

Afternoon ladies.
Wow - merely a matter of weeks and then you will all have your babies
Wendy's news really knocked me last week, just felt so despearely sorry.

Well still wishing my life away until I get to the 12 weeks scan but from Friday only 2 more weeks to go - yippee!!
Going from days where I think everything is going to be alright to days when I am worried sick - arh well what will be will be.

Hope all you lovely ladies are having a nice Valentine's day and are being spoilt rotten

munz · 14/02/2006 18:39

rom - erm yep I am tbh! lol. althou DH came home early today so not been able to mong out in the hosue! lol. also the bedding came from motehrcare so it's all washed and iron and on the crib so the LO can officially come now and have matching bedding! lol - god so sad! lol.

bella - 2 weeks hopefulyl it will go quickly for u. i'm sure everything will go well - but we'll keep off the celebrations till u post us a piccy!

romilly · 14/02/2006 19:06

hi bella - not long to go for the 12 week scan then. it is very natural to be high and then worried sick. we've all been there, believe me. try and enjoy it though - pregnancy is a very special time - despite some of the harder aspects of it!

it is desperately sad about wendy, i really hope she is ok. i have been thinking about her a lot.

munz - lol @ monging out at home - thats what i have been doing today, even had an afternoon kip, bliss.

dare we do the TP tuesday then munz and friz?

Frizbetheexpansionset · 15/02/2006 09:18

Oh Soz Rom, missed TP Tue again as per feb and march threads, having an odd day today, thought was kicking off earlier, but all quiet again?? still feeling odd tho, so ? Will post more later!

munz · 15/02/2006 09:21

yes missed it as well - I don't think I dare to do it tbh, althou going to walk the dogs around the park later on, I'm sure this bump has moved down somewhat from my boobies! had lots of little punches v v low last night so will do a long walk today more rasp leaf and back on the birthing ball to see if it helps anything along.

off for my JK now! - it wasn't v good yesterday thou so might take the dogs up the park now.

romilly · 15/02/2006 14:08

ooh friz - anything happening?

munz - JK? eh?

hope nemo, george, DQ, J&BM, SK, and yingers and yellowbear and tabs and any other new mums i've missed - are all busy bonding with their new bundles of joy

special hellos to Harri and Handbag - how are you girls?

lots of love to wendy - hope d/h is looking after you.

bella - hows things? are you feeling very preggie now?

dont know where cadmum's got to - have visions of her commuting backwards and forwards from NY to canada.

have my first acupuncture session now so must rush, not really looking forward to it tbh.

Tabs · 15/02/2006 16:15

Bonding going great here thanks Romilly .
There don't seem enough hours in the day most of the time, but things have got much easier since milk came in, and we're managing 4-5hrs sleep in one stretch at night now, as well as lots during the day. It's just evenings where she seems to get a bit grizzly and likes to snack frequently rather than take a single good feed.

We did our first trip out yesterday, and are trying out real nappies for first time today, so every day seems to have something new in store.

Please forgive me for indulging myself in showing her off, but there are a couple more pics of her first week here and here .

Remind me what dates you are due Rom and Munz?

Hello to everyone else - hope all are keeping well and that beanies or babies are growing nicely.

Frizbetheexpansionset · 15/02/2006 20:08

Tabs sounds like you've gotten it sussed

Rom, no more news here, still feel nauseous, and very tight bump?? so who knows! could be a slow start for me this time??

I wonder if Cadmum is just snowed in literally, as they've had loads of bad weather over in NYC, maybe its taken the phone lines down or something?

sweetkitty · 15/02/2006 21:41

hi all sorry not been round in a while was thinking about who was next?

Many congratulations again Tabs

Well DD2 is 3 weeks tomorrow wow seems only 5 mins ago I was on here moaning about being overdue, so far it's going well DD1 adores her she will rush and get a bib and try and clean her face if she's sick, gets concerned if she cries and holds her hand in the buggy when we are out, she only 18 months herself, it's lovely seeing the 2 of them together.

BFing going well too DD2 is now a whopping 11lb 2ozs, (her sister took 10 weeks to reach that weight) a total milk guzzler. Have nearly lost all the preggie weight so not all bad. Am loving not being pregnant SPD has all but gone so lovely to be able to walk etc again.

So you girls will have your little bundles soon too. I will keep an eye on the announcement threads and hope the end isn't too bad for you all.

yellowbear · 15/02/2006 22:26

Bonding going well here to, Ds2 is nearly 8 weeks old, it doesn't seem that long ago we were chatting on the TTC threads. Ds1 adores him and so far there has been no jealousy - he keeps telling him he is his best friend and that he loves him!

Can't wait for all your announcements.

Wendy - really sorry to hear your news, I wish there was something we could say to help.

MeAndMyBoy · 15/02/2006 22:43

Hi ladies,

Sweet Kitty and Yellow Bear - it's lovely to hear from you both, glad things are going well for you.

Tabs certainly sounds like you have things sussed.

Friz fingers crossed things get moving for you - certainly sounds like you're going in the right direction (IYKWIM!!)

Munz hope you are doing ok too - and that you're enjoying your Mat leave.

Romilly how are you doing? hope you're feeling fine and dandy.

Handbag Hi to you too.

Cadmum - I really hope that you have been getting a chance to put your feet up even if only a little bit and that your ObGyn has been sorted in NY.

Well the only news here is that I am now on the dreaded two week wait (gulp) - I really hope that we have done enought this month to get PG as DH is from Sunday away from home for the week days for the next 4 weeks at least . It's been so fab being at home with him just the 2 of us the last 3 days, did feel a bit guilty still sending DS to Nursery but we have been working on our home business so wouldn't have been any fun for him being at home with us and now we have the next 2 days free to do stuff the 3 of us.

Hello to anyone that I have missed and I'll talk to you soon.

H x

Nothing to report here...all died down, dh gutted! lol told him not to take day off work...ho hum eh!

M&MB hope this is your month!

SK think I'm next....argh!

Bella23 · 16/02/2006 09:59

Hello ladies

DQ ? lovely to hear from you, wow so no chance you can forget how far on I am with your sister due the same month, funny! Arh, low self esteem issues. Poor you , remember the beanie gang thinks you are fab?.does that help a little??

Rom ? how did your acupuncture session go? Am interested to know where they put the needles and what they were supposed to be doing etc.
I have my last session next week before I stop it for a couple of months.

Munz ? nice to hear that you are still dragging your bump and dogs for daily walks. There was a woman on GMTV yesterday who was addicted to exercise and she went for a 4 mile run every day during her pregnancy right up until giving birth and then 24 hours after delivery did a 6 mike run ???hells bells, can you imagine!!
I felt knackered just listening to her!

Well all seems to be going well, am feeling queasy in the evenings which is nice an re-assuring and feel like I could sleep for England (in between annoying toilet trips in the night) and just waiting for scan date to come through ? eagerly looking at postie every day like a kid on her birthday!!

Well best crack on with some work???so can?t wait for maternity leave ?..ha ??I know a long way until then but I can dream!

Love to you all??.and still thinking of Wendy, if you could it would be nice to hear how you are feeling. I hope you and DH are taking care of each other. xx

dramaqueen72 · 16/02/2006 11:07

LOL bella, running when pg? oh please, I dont run when not pg... I'm so glad youre doing okay. sept is such a geat birthday month you know...(mine is in it!)I cant wait to hear about your scan, (did the postie bring it this morning?)how your dh feeling about it all? you two must be so delighted.
munz, woah, okay when did you all get to 38wks-ish? blimey!! do take it easy! are you all ready> nursery-wise etc? i know I've been MIA but do fill me in
yeah, stupid issues raising their heads here -not helped by the guilt of realising how lucky I am, how perfect i have it and yet still not feeling it - I'm at least 'dealing' with it and getting some help/support. thanks for the kind words from you guys, you know I didnt post for ages thinking you wouldnt all want to hear from me, so its lovely to see you do
wendy, I cannot even begin to find the words hun, I'm very late in saying how sorry i am, do forgive me, am thinking of you and willing you forward. massive hugs to you and your dh. do check in and let us know how youre doing.
friz, wishing you good luck! next eh/ wow. I'm feeling old, I can remember you all saying you'd just got a BFP!!!
yes, daisy is delightful. shes sucha smiley sweet soul. sleep isnt too awful, tho not quite frequent enough yet! shes eight weeks this sunday, its flying by.

munz · 16/02/2006 11:46

dq - come close to the screan for a minute hon, I wanna whisper something....... we'll have no more talk of us not wating to hear from u! (now come share my choccy and have a cuppa tea with me! lol.) course we want to hear from u silly! I suspect mainly its the hormones and all but u feel the way u feel. tbh I don't think any one fully appriciates what they've got 100% of the time, mainly it's only when u look back at things and think about them. main thing is u guys are all well and healthy, as is the LO.

38 weeks - I know it's gone quick esp since about 24 weeks! lol. 8 weeks more like when did that happen! lol. u dec girls have whole little ppl now! lol. fingers crosse her sleep will continue to get better and then u'll feel more like your old self. remeber it's still early days yet hon don't expect so much of urself. ((((((((hugs))))))) just enjoy your little girl.

bella - runnign - give me a chance! lol - i'm with DQ I didn't run to begin with! lol - well apart from the odd chase with the dog! lol. I'm managing about an hours walk at a time (approx 2/3 miles I think) but it's not every day at the minute. I did swim loads b4 getting PG, but my swimming is well 2 speeds 1) competative got to get theree first and win or 2) none so i've opted for none as the first time I was PG I swam and didn't take it easy - resulting in the m/c (well unconfirmed) I did try to swim about 8 weeks gently but ended up with lane range in the slow lane! lol - so I didn't go back again, can't wait till LO's out and I can get back to it on a mon/thurs night. and the davina DVD/instant abs machine - roll on 6 week check! lol.

talkin of swimming how old should the baby be b4 the first swimming experience. a friend told me she took her LO at 2 weeks I was thinking once i've stopped bleeding or is it best for the 6 week thing?

Bella23 · 16/02/2006 12:35

Absolutely Munz - DQ we love hearing from you!!
