Frizbetheexpansionset · 04/02/2006 19:39

Hi all hope your all ok, hoping all is ok Wendy {{Hugs}}

munz · 05/02/2006 11:02

morning girls, hope you're all ok.

wend - fingers crossed honney any news?

tabs - am really hoping this buba makes an appearance soon for u.

cads did u hear from ur nurse? - I haven't forgotten ur penquins/to answer ur email, infact i'll answer it today for u! lol - everytime I see ur names here I remeber then get into somehting else! lol - did u think of anything else the LO's might like - we have creme eggs as well on sale at the mo! alos girlie! lol - u do need to slow down, I know what u mean about not being able to, (my brain doesn't have that function either) but tbh after a w/e last week of cryin cos I didn't manage to do the ironing! to hell with it! lol - enjoy ur new place v aboutt he fridge mind! lol, and no lifting/shifting furiture that what DH is for! lol@ loo roll - u go for kitchen roll if u want hon! lol then we'll all be when u say 2/3 squares! lol.

george - good to hear from u and LO! hope he's sleepin/feeding well.

rom - how's the move looking? is there any chance to delay u signing ur house over by 2 months so u're not renting from this man?

friz/nemo - hope all's well with u 2

well had a m/w apt this week - tell me girls, my notes say 36 weeks today but how can that be when my due date is a friday?? surely I should have been 36 weeks on friday just gone? anyhow, went to m/w apt and she's basically said bub's isn't going to be small (ie 6lb) he's going to be 7.5-8lb but wouldn't commit to him not being bigger. she didn't want to say if he'ds come early althou the cons has said he prob will. cons recons he's 'average' sized. anyhow i'm now measuring 36 weeks so am right there - althou this m/w doesn't seem to be as keen on measuring - ie she doen't have as good a feel for the top/bottom as the cons/other m/w did. anyhow, will ask again in 2 weeks when I'll be 38 weeks the times just flown by hasn't it! still 5 working days in work, the bloody army have sent DH away - yet again, till thursday so i'm under instruction not to drop till friday, but he's arranged transport incase. althou at the rate his SGT is going DH will be luck if he's home for the weekend i'm due in march as the rest they want him away for thankfully he's refused thou and put his leave pass in already!

MeAndMyBoy · 05/02/2006 12:14

Hi everyone,

I did start posting yesterday and got completely side tracked.

Wendy I have everything crossed for you - hope to hear some news from you soon.

Hello to everyone else - i have to dash I have list of things as long as my arm to do and have spent the last 20 mins on here instead of doing them doh! better scram.

Take care
H x

Tabs · 05/02/2006 12:17

munz - frustrating having DH's that work away isn't it?! Mine wasn't planning on being back until evening of due date, and then with so many people convinced that I was going to pop early, he panicked and arranged to work at home all of last week. So of course what happens but I'm late instead!!

Wouldn't worry too much about sizes - most people who've been given an estimate seem to have babies of a completely different size in the end! Am expecting Pippa to be big (or huge!), but no-one will put an actual figure on it. If she stays in much longer she'll prob weigh a stone before she's born. Ouch

Frizbetheexpansionset · 05/02/2006 12:17

Aww Munz, sorry to hear they're working dh so hard at the mo, hope he's back when you drop tho hon {{{{Hugs}}}}
I don't think I'll ever be 2-3 tp sqs, but here's hoping eh
Sounds like your bubba will be a nice size then (dd was 7lbs11oz) lord knows what this one will be? my midwife can't tell which way up either! but I can and that head is down, either that or she hiccups out of her bottom! your bubba should fit into newborn clothes for a month or two which is always good after you've spent money on them!
Wendy thinking of you xx
Hope everyone else is ok and no one is stressing, I still have a horrible stinking cold....
Tabs have you dropped yet?

Frizbetheexpansionset · 05/02/2006 12:17

lol cross posts, guess you haven't then!! M&MB hello!

georgeandwigglyjake · 05/02/2006 13:49

Hope you have some good news soon Wendy.

Don't know how you ladies cope with your DHs away. (Although it could be a blessing some days!! )

Tabs, you must be soon surely? Are you eating pineapples and curries whilst slurping RL tea?

georgeandwigglyjake · 05/02/2006 13:51

Harrizeb, you have so confused me by changing names!! I keep forgetting that M&MB is you.

munz · 05/02/2006 14:55

any word from wend yet? I do hope it's good news for her. I was jsut telling DH about it all.

well my promise of action amounted to an arguement instead oh well. bloody hormones.

mm&B - how r u gettin on hon? lol @ u being on here instead of pottering! lol.

tabs - still no movements then? - it's sods law isn't it that DH is home working and u're late, the sgt actually turned around to DH and said I won't allow u to put ur leave pass in, followed shortly by no one says u take paternity leave as soon as the baby's born tosser. DH asked him if he had a wife/kids - surprise surprise he doesn't so DH said in no uncertain terms he's taking all of march off on pat leave and anuual holiday! - wohoo finally! (he'll jsut be away in april instead!)

friz - how do u know it's not erm, LO popping off! lol. althou it's intresting u say about the m/w not knowing where LO is. mine this week said she couldn't feel where everything was but said head was down still - she didn't press/poke too much thou was much gentler than the one the week b4 who prodded so much LO was flexing his ankles! lol. fingers crossed ur LO isn't too much bigger either.

is it me or is anyone else on a clothes buying frenzie? lol.

any news from trix about her scan?

Frizbetheexpansionset · 05/02/2006 17:09

Munz, my little mite would not do such a thing unless it takes after me of course

Have turned into crappy grouch monster hoping my mood improves soon....grrrr.......

So no, sorry no clothes buying here, dh has me on a tight budget... I know we need to, but pah u know!

munz · 05/02/2006 18:52

lol, snap with the moods my poor DH right now - everything he's doing/not oding is annoying me - and it's totally not his fault. he too has me on a budget - althou i'm ment to have him on one and it doesn't stick so what's good for him is good for me (or baby clothes!) lol.

Bella23 · 06/02/2006 11:29

Just popping in to say Hi and to wish that Wendy would get in touch.
Hope all is ok, thinking of you xx

Frizbetheexpansionset · 06/02/2006 13:58

Nemo1977 · 06/02/2006 14:00

hello all
hope your ok.
not got time to stay on unfortunately as hannah has turned into a screaming machine!!! Hope your all ok.

Wendy thinking of you when do we find out result?

Cadmum · 06/02/2006 14:45

Well, my body clearly thinks that I have overdone it as I have a migraine headache. (First time this pregnancy.) I shall only be here long enough to say that I amthinking of you Wnedy and hoping so very much for that BFP.

DS2 had his birthday this week-end as is loving all of his new toys so at least the LOs have something to do while I feel sorry for myself in bed.

Munzie: I found penguins here... We needed some produce and ducked into a little store that has a whole shelf full of English treats. I did manage to get your treats but will not be venturing beryonnd my four walls today.

Take care of yourselves.

MeAndMyBoy · 06/02/2006 16:01

George so sorry for confusing you lol. I'll sign my posts as Harri to try help any confusion for everyone.

Wendy - have been thinking about you all weekend so so hoping for a BFP for you.

Hi to everyone else catch up later.

Harri
x

Frizbetheexpansionset · 06/02/2006 16:45

Oh caddy hope you feel better soon, if it gets any worse, you must go and get yourself checked out you know! Hi to everyone else.

georgeandwigglyjake · 07/02/2006 10:46

Wendy, hope everything is OK. You too Trix, haven't noticed you posting since your scan. Good vibes coming out to both of you.

How is it going Bella? Feeling icky yet? I think I staved it off for the first few weeks by eating everything in sight!!

TP tuesday ladies, should I measure going down as well? (Obviously not that I haven't already lost my manificent jelly belly!!!)

Bella23 · 07/02/2006 10:52

Hiya George.
Thanks for asking, yes am feeling a little bit nauseous. Feel better when I eat so using that as an excuse to eat constantly!! Am a bit relieved to be feeling a bit under the weather as now feel pregnant!!

Rom / Cadmum and the rest of the gang, how's it going? Cadmum - hope you are resting!

Wendy .....mmmmm....really hope all is ok as not heard anything. Still got everything crossed xx

Cadmum · 07/02/2006 13:48

Guess who has booked flights for her childrenand herslef back to Ottawa for next Monday? ARGH! I have still heard nothing from the hospital here and i can't get a straight answer about insurance if I just 'show up' in labour. I am sure that the reason for my migraine is just insane stress.

My parents are flyig to New York to help with the kids on March 1 so I really either need to have the baby in Ottawa before then (any help appreciated!) or after then in New York. This whole thing is doing my head in and I am NOT happy about having to go back to a place where we know noonw and have no reason to stay but my options are becoming more and more limited...

Cadmum · 07/02/2006 13:51

Sorry for the typos... I am sitting cross-legged in the middle of the hardwood floor and it is challenging to type with the keyboard in my shrinking lap.

Tabs · 07/02/2006 15:44

Oh cadmum - what a nightmare - so sorry to hear that things aren't getting easier at your end.

Still no word from Trix or Wendy - thought they would have let us know by now. Will go search in case they have posted on any other threads this week.

Bella - yay for sickness!

Well, still no sign of actually having a baby here - 5 days overdue now and getting very fed up of the wait! Guess the sweep didn't do the trick, so I'll be having another one on Friday if no progress by then, but please let there be a baby before that!

Nemo1977 · 07/02/2006 15:54
