Hi all

jarm glad u saw thread.

hopefully george will be lying in hospital holding her little bundle by now

We are all good here. Hannah is now officially registered and was also weighed by HV and is now 7lb7ozs. Her face has really filled out although rest of her is still tiny..lol She is looking more like Adam every day. Have had to change hannahs formula though as she started throwing up all her feeds the past 2 days so will see how we go on the new one.

Take care all

Frizbethebumpedupreindeer · 30/12/2005 09:40

Oooh George hope all has gone ok, off to check the announcement threads just in case!
J&RM lovely to hear things are ok with you!
Nemo, glad Hannah is ok as well, hope the new formula works
We're off to the inlaws today, as they appear to be well again, so might not check in for a day or two, so have a good new year if I don't get chance!

sweetkitty · 30/12/2005 09:42

morning all no news here either can't wait for george's birth announcement.

chuffed from the Due in Jan thread had her baby on Christmas Day (and she was due 2 days after me) but she had a few complications afterwards, things like that are freaking me out right now. Having panic attacks thinking I have to give birth again very soon. Still nothing I can do to prevent it and I will have a beautiful daughter at the end of it all.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

romilly · 30/12/2005 23:21

Cadmum · 01/01/2006 02:19

Happy New Year!

We are having a quiet evening in New York (our 12th wedding anniversary!!!) I get the impression that friends and family are discouraged that we are not joining the thousands who are standing out in the cold in Times Square. I must be getting old! I went shopping today for maternity clothes in H&M, Gap Maternity and Old Navy all near Penn Station. I felt as though I could be on Oxford street in London. Very odd as I never expected the US to be anything like the UK...

Frizbe: We are looking at a few houses in Montclair, NJ. It looks absolutely amazing and rental prices are SO much lower than in NYC. We are also looking at a flat on Roosevelt Island because there is a great school there and a private Bilingual (French/English) one right accross the street form where DH works at the UN.

munz · 01/01/2006 10:45

happy new year everyone! hope all's well with u all - has kitty popped yet? she's v quiet!

wendy11 · 01/01/2006 12:46

Just popping on to wish you all a Very Happy and Healthy New Year.

George - Congratulations on the birth of Jake. Take care and enjoy your new arrival.

DQ - I am sure this has been a very special time for you and your family. Take care

Rom - I hope you are resting and taking things really easy.

Munz - How are you? Hows the bump?

Cadmum - I am glad you have settleded into your new surroundings and are looking for somewhere more permenant to stay. How is the weather with you - any snow? Take care of yourself

Frizbe - How are you? Not long to go now!!

Cadmum · 01/01/2006 15:45

Happy New Year Wendy!

There were some snow flurries yesterday but it has been lovely and warm here, really. I sure hope that you have a fantastic 2006 that sees you holding you own little bundle before the year is out. Thanks for keeping up with our progress. I know that it is not fun being on the TTC end when everyone around you is pg... I promise to follow your progress and be on hand for any silly questions that are bound to arise. Take very good care of yourself!

sweetkitty · 01/01/2006 15:58

hi all Happy New Year!!

Still here, still pregnant 38+3 today DD2 shows no sign of arriving anytime soon.

Oh many congratulations George am dying to hear all the details.

Cadmum - I bought a few things from the H&M near Penn Station when I was last pregnant with DD (May 2004) DP and I went to NY for his 30th it was fab, would love to go back one day.

Hope everyone else is doing well, putting their feet up and taking it easy, I'm making the most of DP being off work to his credit he hasn't been allowing me to do much around the house. Maybe having a huge bump is good for something

Frizbethebumpedupreindeer · 01/01/2006 15:59

Happy NY to all

Cadmum, glad to see the search is going well, don't blame you for not bothering to go out tho, hope your anniversary was better than mine! we did nothing, as had ss staying up, so not fair to get bbsitters in, next year will be different!

Wendy, really hoping this is your year hon {{{{Hugs}}}} and dust, although I've not got any to copy and paste!

George, I'm off to search for your birth thread next! but big congrats

dyzzidi · 01/01/2006 17:30

Hi all I 'm really sorry I have been unable to keep up with you girls!! Congratulations on all the new babies. I am currently without my laptop asnd have resorted to coming and using my nieces for five minutes just to post quickly. Well I am now the very proud mother of Baby Brooke born on 21 December by c section at 12.28pm. We are all in a bit of shock at how we managed to have such a beautiful Daughter!

I should be back on line in about a fortnight and will read all your posts and catch up properly.

Happy new year to all!!!!

romilly · 01/01/2006 18:21

Will have to go update my list now

munz · 02/01/2006 09:43

dyz - well done u and big congrats on little brooke.

wend all's well here (look like i've sunk all the xmas pud thou!), hope this year is the one for you, we'll all be here for u with the sticky dust at the ready!

sk - hopefully not long for u then, I think everyone else has gone, what about yellowbear was it?? what happened with her? bump - lol, wish my DH was that good, he's been up after midday all week as my parents have been here althou it's the last holiday he'll be able to do it for.

u realise u other 3 march/feb girls - we could pop as well any time from now hope not! lol.

anyhow hope everyone's doing OK. off to congratulate a bud on her finding out she's 8 weeks PG - apparently she's not told her DH (according to mine) she just was real sad last month then annoyed no OV tests were pos then this month went in the loo and came out smiling - lol - some men! lol. but 3 CB's can't be wrong! so off to live the PG experience again! lol. (also gotta sort out the nursery this week as DH is away on sunday night for 3 weeks )

Frizbetheexpansionset · 02/01/2006 19:33

Munz look on the bright side, 3 weeks of Vin and Chris all to yourself in peace and quiet, good quality time with the boys, before you pop and dh gets home and in the way as well

Dyzzidi, Congrats on Brooke!

munz · 02/01/2006 22:59

lol friz - ahy never thought of that! (been feeling rather clingy today after my day of nesting. Having some pretty hefty kicks now as well, sure they're not BH's cos I can't feel my tummy contracting/gettin hard but everything else feels like it is - do BH's hurt? these don't hurt so much as jsut there for a few secs then gone.

saw my bud - bless her, she's having the sickness thing, and general hormones, I think she felt a bit better once I told her it was normal! lol. (is it me or is it about 8 weeks u're an absolute cow to DH/P's?? lol)

Frizbetheexpansionset · 03/01/2006 08:12

Sounds like normal kicking n braxtons to me Munz, they don't usually hurt, but some of us 2nd timers are finding they do...

munz · 03/01/2006 10:04

do u think it's a mix of the two friz? - I seem to have more some days less others.

29 days to go! (forgot about the 4 this week! ) not that i'm counting!

rom - how's ur mat leave going?

Frizbetheexpansionset · 03/01/2006 17:21

is that days at work Munz?

munz · 03/01/2006 19:40

yep - now 28 working days - not that i'm counting! starting to get worried now they're not interviewing till next week - and none of the ppl on the cv's I personally think are suitable - for a start none of them have accounts back grounds and none know payroll (kinda a big thing when I'd have to train them and I do all the accounts!) just imagioning the mess in 6 months time.
