exaclty - besides I'm still waiting on the milage claim from oct - not to mention the extra form running DH about for 2 weeks cos the duty bloody driver decided it wasn't his job to do it

Frizbe · 17/10/2005 14:52

Nah its not too far Munz....bloody army sound like a right pain in the * to me.....
J&BM hope you drop before Fri, but who knows you may have a punctual baby!!
These bloomin under bump trousers from next are driving me mad......keep falling down....remind me to get a size down next time.....

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/10/2005 14:53

im pissed off too.... dh had to go in to work today for some training thing, had to be outside the training wing at 7.10am.... left here at 6.40am this morning, havent been able to get him on the mobile all day and he STILL isnt home.

So much for him working shorter days til bubs is born..... BLOODY ARMY..... they make me so

(ment claim from aug not oct) - begginin of aug at that - fair enough 2 weeks block leave - so end of aug - but then 2 weeks for the new cleark to come in - wtf why couldn't the old clarke do it?? - then 2 weeks up at RHQ waiting to be sent to glasgow - i'm so mad at them. poor DH.

friz - thanks glad it's not far - is it about half hour down the road or something? lol@under bump trousers - I don't like under anything - prefer to tuck it all in! lol.

yingers74 · 17/10/2005 21:06

george - for the sake of the freebies I am prepared to run, I am that sad! Went last year with dd and had a blast picking up bags full of goodies, of course most of it was useless but it was free and gave me a buzz!

DQ - will try to go to the 4d scan area at 11am. I am easy to spot - short chinese woman, big bump, straight long black hair which looks really messy!

Frizbe · 17/10/2005 21:07

Where are you J&BM, just checking you've not gone and done the deed?!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/10/2005 21:08

Friz - im still here - Spicy food done, walk done, raspberry leaf tea done.... just sex and castor oil left for tonight!

how are you rom? and cadmum? missing your news!
Nemo youre quiet today too, on both threads....... okay?
george i KNOW you finally got dressed and did some shopping! youre just loving this sahm lark arent you? LOL
good luck j&Bm, hope its soon for you.
munz/friz, am with munz on the trousers...under bump now are ridiculous -very under bump!!!- and keep coming undone when ever i bend in them! over bump the only way forward after 25+ wks I reckon! my wardrobe is getting abit limited to say the least!

Frizbe · 18/10/2005 09:27

Totally agreee DQ, have now dug out belt to wear!! trouble is, it seems to be all Next have, unless you want 'work/formal' trousers that is....had nothing else in over bump.....really must get back to mothercare soon! either that or brave meadowhell....although the choice up there isn't that great either!
Oh never mind J&BM, hopefully today is the day!
Hi to all, must get some proper work done today!

Frizbe · 18/10/2005 09:43

Very sad news on the Feb thread today

Nemo666 · 18/10/2005 12:56

Sorry have cheated and just copy and pasted

afternoon all

not been on much as have been feeling rough...turns out i have a chest infection so on antibiotics. Been to mw this morning and everything is fine..measuring 32wks [am 32 on fri] and baby is head down on the brim. Was giving a good kicking to the mw aswell when she was feeling..lol Also had my bloods done so will see what they come back with as have a feeling iron levels are low.

The spa party last night was lovely. WEird being out without adam..lol I bought one thing which is a gift set for dhs mum for her bday which is on my due date and her bday last year was ruined by the scan where baby had died so hoping its a bit nicer this year.

Hope everyone is ok....will try and catch up after a sleep so I can feel more human.
Take care

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 18/10/2005 13:02

Nemo - you look after yourself hun. I realyl hope you feel better soon xxx

OP posts:
munz · 18/10/2005 13:14

yes nemo - u look after u and bump.

friz u're by medow hall u lucky thing u. didn't go in for the hipster jeans either - prefer my jeans around my waist not half way down my bum when I sit down! lol - besides which i was forever hoisting them back up - doens't look v dignified/lady like after a few shandys! lol. did see about amanda - the poor thing - as if she hasn't been thru enough already.

keep having sharp pains when turning but trying not to worry - might mention it to the m/w just incase.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 18/10/2005 13:15

Munz - you need to relax and take things easy - you have obviously over-done it.

PLEASE for the sake of you and the baby take it easy xxx

OP posts:
munz · 18/10/2005 13:19

jm - don't worry it's only when i'm turning over in bed asleep from right to on my back - no rude comments please!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 18/10/2005 13:22

if thats all... wait til you get to 39+ weeks and rolling over hurts so much you dont know whether its best to lie in the same position really uncomfortable or go through the pain of turning!

OP posts:
munz · 18/10/2005 13:28

bloody hell - i'm thinkin that now honney at 20! I only notice it as i'm coming around as well. - not the left side thou - weird.

Frizbe · 18/10/2005 16:09

Probably just where bump is lying munz! they tend to favour one side over the other....talking of which our little peanuts been lively today!
not that near meadowhall btw, its about half hour up the M1 from us!

munz · 18/10/2005 16:49

well it's half hour closer than me! (actually about 4.5 hours closer! lol)

I do keep thinking that the foot is in the left side by my ribs. - we've had an active one today as well - stronger fluttering - still not kicks thou I don't think.

wonder where rom is.

Frizbe · 18/10/2005 17:42

Rom, where r u?

romilly · 18/10/2005 19:09

here! sorry girls - work has really got in the way of my MN social life this week !!

how are you munz and friz?
munz - do you use a pillow under your bump at night? i have now accumulated a v-pillow, a couple of wedge ones and a double sided maternity pillow from jojo maman, lol
i kind of wedge myself in pillow central to try and get comfy!

george - how are you enjoying life as sahm???!

DQ - isnt your scan very soon?

Cadmum · 18/10/2005 19:26

There must be something unusual about my body... I barely even have a bump. I wouldn't really have anything to prop up on a pillow.

Thankfully, all is well and baby still has a strong heartbeat (in the 150s) and is a mover and a shaker. DD felt it through my belly and thought it was fabulous. Now if only her brothers would sit still long enough to feel it!

I am feeling really sad about Amanda. I have read several of her threads but never responded because I am useless with advice. My heart is breaking for her. I really must stop feeling sorry for myself.
