Welcome weary travellers. It's been a long road, but you made it! Now, hard as it might be, leave your ESH spawn at the creche and step into the spa - where we have every treatment available to soothe your Amityville Horror undercarriage, ravaged raspberries and worn out wits. And - wait for it - we've got the bar back. And it's all-inclusive

So, what are you waiting for? Grab a glass, lower yourself into the jacuzzi and lets get chatting. We are Forever ESH!

P.S Children never cry here...

Am v Envy of talk of leakage. I never really had any. No wonder the poor child was starving. Sad

SkiHorseWonAWean · 19/08/2010 09:35

I had enough to "dampen" a cotton wool bud. Wink

Cosmosis · 19/08/2010 09:38

Arsewipes ski really? :( oh well, I survived with the most popular name of my generation so Artie will have to as well. hey ho.

CUNextTuesday · 19/08/2010 09:40

I have more coming from my undercarriage when I sneeze than leaks out of my boobs Grin

Backinthebox · 19/08/2010 09:46

Silver yes, you will be sleeping in a soggy patch for a few months if you BF. It's when they start to spray all by themselves that it gets really surreal!

SkiHorseWonAWean · 19/08/2010 14:04

Thank you for that image cunty. You do realise FESH meets will now only happen in mcdonalds and not posh west london homes? Wink

cossie True - only problem is other mums will talk to you about doomed love affairs and vampires. The same types of adults who read Harry Potter!

SkiHorseWonAWean · 19/08/2010 15:48

Jailbait leaves for work in just over 12 hours and his clothes are still in a pile on bedroom floor. He said he'd "sort it out" yesterday morning.

Yesterday he moaned I left him for 5 hours alone with Bear - I wonder whom he thinks is keeping me company when he's at work. Hmm

How did the dress hunt go curly?

Went to tack shop and bought breeches in a more appropriate size. :( Have been riding in jeans.

SilverSky · 19/08/2010 19:30

Jeans! Are you insane?!!! V uncomfortable non?

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 19/08/2010 21:52

got one dress yesterday ski, but cost little enough that I can keep eye out for another Wink. Not that I saw another during a whole afternoon at designer outlets today Sad. SFF got a new suit and Squeaks got a dress. Oh, and I got lesbo hippy shoes x 2 pairs, which I loooooovvvveee. (I am allowed, having feet wot don't work and all that). I have bought four pairs of shoes in two days.

Away for a few days now, not sure if I'll be online, but might have to check in in hope of cossie news!

Well done on getting back on the horse, BTW, pisterider. If only I could get back off my lazy arse...

Oooh well done curly! I'm a huge fan of the bargain, my breeches & leather chaps both had 35% off stickers! Grin They contain enough lycra to survive weight loss or gain! Blush We will need to see a pic of Sqeaker in her dress! Bear has a handful of proper 0-3 months outfits but right now they'd drown him... plus 30 again this weekend so it'll be rompers only again. Have your feet changed size? Still have not gone to gym though...

I am very excited about cossie, another old skool BESH who waited a year for the BFP.

silver As long as the jeans have lycra, a zip fly and aren't too tight around the fanjo all good!

Question for horse gals: Do you have any experience with canted stirrup treads? I wimped out yesterday and just got flat but wondered if I were missing the greatest invention of all time. Sadly rubber not stamped with rhinestones. :(

Backinthebox · 20/08/2010 09:18

Ski, was bought some canted stirrups once for a present, and they were OK, but not life changing. I just use ordinary stirrups now (but with bent sides for safety, ever since my mum snapped her leg in half getting her foot stuck in a stirrup!) Big horse was a show horse so lots and lots of judges rode him in the ring - some of them were quite clear they couldn't stand the canted stirrups. Horse for courses, I think

Cas, much to my horror my feet grew a whole half size when I had DD and never shrunk again. I was forced to accept this realisation on day 2 of my first proper ski holiday after DD's birth, when I was practically crying with foot pain even though my boots had been lovingly customised for a perfect fit over the years by OH and brother who have both worked as professional boot fitters in a ski resort. They were PERFECT before getting pregnant, and crippled me afterwards. Clucky made me go shopping for more (and obviously I went, screaming and kicking Wink.) Anyway - get your feet size checked out. Ski - that goes for you too, especially before you go on your mega-expensive cross-the-pond ski holiday that I am not jealous of at all Envy.

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 20/08/2010 09:27

feet no bigger - just as awkward as ever. i just like to buy shoes, but never spend much as me plates are so unpredictamable. Smile

off to attempt two nights away from home Hmm

SkiHorseWonAWean · 20/08/2010 09:44

I'm not going across the pond boxer, am doing Mark Warner in Austria for easy childcare and to be able to load up the car with baby/ski equipment. I need new boots anyway - oh joy - bootfitting. :(

SkiHorseWonAWean · 20/08/2010 09:51

boxer Can you please ask OH/BIL if they know of any good bootfitters in my neck of the woods or "en route" from here to there? I know really I should just bite the bullet and go to Colin in Bicester and force myself upon reggie for 2 nights! Grin

curly Best of luck - you'll be fine! :) You're on a roll.

I wanted to ask - have you beaten the colic problems? I think we've got it licked this end - no "straight legs of fury" for over a week now. Tbh, I think it's US getting the hang of burping properly Blush - and him learning to help himself in that respect!

CluckyKate · 20/08/2010 11:14

Envy at Mark Warner ski holiday AND new boots Smile

I has need for new, faster skis but timed this baby badly for snow-sliding this season Sad

SkiHorseWonAWean · 20/08/2010 11:57

I got a good deal - it helps when you're not limited to school holidays! :) In the future MW can suck my dick. Wink

I have a pair of new planks (boutique twin-tips) which I don't even have bindings for yet - I think a trip to the slopes is called for next week! Just wax, wax and wax again to improve your current planks. Mind you, I've seen some amazing deals this week - if I hadn't already got a great pair (iM82) then I'd be shopping but cannot justify another pair!... although want rockered.

CluckyKate · 20/08/2010 12:57

MW shud be good - it's SkiBeat you want to avoid....think you've already heard about that tale (& heroically stepped-in to fend off the SnowHedz wankers) so won't say any more.

SilverSky · 20/08/2010 21:52

ski who is your man in Bicester pls to share?

SkiHorseWonAWean · 21/08/2010 05:39

The boot man: www.solutions4feet.co.uk/

SilverSky · 21/08/2010 19:47

Thank you v kindly!

Tho I think my ski days are somewhat on the backburner tho Him Indoorsjas his hopes pinned on next year sans moi et bebe. In return I am hoping on RC camp ( Him Indoors can come with bringing junior or he can stay at home and babysit. The choice is his!!).

SkiHorseWonAWean · 22/08/2010 06:38

silver Do both? Selfish fuck cannot leave you in Blighty whilst he sails down pristine white pistes, stands on top of the world and does wildlife spotting from slow dawdly lifts. Angry What? He's going to leave you on the 2am shift and go off with the boys? We got a good deal with MW as we're going in january and I flashed my SCGB card for a 10% discount - mn also does one.

You do of course have a pass for the RC. Grin

CluckyKate - I have no idea why they turned on her like that and acted like she was some form of medusa for complaining. Confused Pricks.

How is everyone getting on with the baybee? I can't believe how quickly Bear is growing out of his clothes - he is not a big boy but already I'm having to put aside some stuff which was 3-6 months - wtf? On which planet? Planet Chihuahua? Hmm He is so cute & smiley. Today will be the last day on the breastpump - I do not envisage sore & tender breasts as I go cold turkey.

rollerbaby · 22/08/2010 15:32

Question for you gals: did you get a sort of funny ridge down the centre of your bump whenever you sat up and engaged tummy muscles? Mine does and sort of goes a bit cone shape whenever I go to sit up using tummy muscles. Is very weird looking and worried I have done something to it! I HAVE NOT been carrying any cakes recently. :)

SkiHorseWonAWean · 22/08/2010 16:11

Yes. In retrospect it seems to have been BH. Confused Also happened after orgasms.

Cosmosis · 22/08/2010 17:16

yes I get that honey I no loike, freaks me out.

Today is due date. No sneeze yet.

FannyPriceless · 22/08/2010 17:19

honey I also got the 'overturned boat' tummy ridge. Physio said it was due to my tummy muscles being separated as bump expanded.

For me (with SPD) she said it was a signal that I was using those tummy muscles too much and putting further strain on the SPD factors. I had to find other ways to sit up without straining those muscles, e.g an old lady bed handle.Blush
