Welcome weary travellers. It's been a long road, but you made it! Now, hard as it might be, leave your ESH spawn at the creche and step into the spa - where we have every treatment available to soothe your Amityville Horror undercarriage, ravaged raspberries and worn out wits. And - wait for it - we've got the bar back. And it's all-inclusive

So, what are you waiting for? Grab a glass, lower yourself into the jacuzzi and lets get chatting. We are Forever ESH!

P.S Children never cry here...

New photos of Bonnie and Clyde now up on my profile.

cossie Here, have this vindaloo I made for you.Wink

rollerbaby · 22/08/2010 17:27

cossie how are you feeling? Ready to pop or could you go a bit longer? God the waiting must be murder.

I don't like weird tum tum either. How is yours now fan? Back to normal like? I can't feel a gap above my belly button so no idea if it's serious or not. Am making concerted effort not to strain tummy now. Which is quite hard.

Cosmosis · 22/08/2010 17:28

ooh thanks, just what I want Fanny. With some pinappple on the side?

rollerbaby · 22/08/2010 17:32

Scrumptious fanny!! I love his little chubby cheeks!!

FannyPriceless · 22/08/2010 17:45

honey Physio checked my tummy a week ago and said the gap between the muscles is now back to normal. Pleased I'm no longer going to fall in half down my middle.

cos You can have the pineapple after you have some secks. Get busy.

rollerbaby · 22/08/2010 19:01

fanny that's really good. people talk about having 2 fingers gap, but can't feel that yet, so hopefully just early sign of separation. Definitely think post natal physio v good idea. How is the SPD now?

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 22/08/2010 19:42

I haz been eating fresh pineapple and thinking of you cossie!

FP both very gorgeous!

SkiHorseWonAWean · 23/08/2010 07:19

I'm getting very impatient - we need a newborn and cossie has selfishly waited to her 30s to procreate and now is too selfish to lay it. Angry Roll up, roll up baybee layers! Grin

Fanny they're lovely! :)

Well done curly - did you take a travel-cot or the Moses basket?

Am having worries about maybe two born close together - how do feed both at the same time? Confused Hats off to the mighty cheggers!

Bear is being a grizzly grump this morning - must be payback for starting a 5 hour night sleep following weeks of 3 hour shifts.

I am joining the gym today. I will stop eating biscuits.

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 23/08/2010 08:55

ski I have finally subscribed to a diet and fitness plan. two stone to lose to their target weight, three stone until I am happy... all meals for the next week planned and there's no ice cream or pizza in there Sad

we took the moses basket and stand. Also got a new carrier and Squeaks came to the pub in it on Friday night. Was fine. she cried most of the walk back at midnight, and, having had what would have been her bedtime feed at 9pm, took just 40ml before crashing out till 5.30 am Smile

glad Bear is sleeping longer now too. Squeaks has started to graze all evening - hopefully in preparation for longer sleeps!

eight week checks and first jabs tomorrow

COME ON COSSIE! Wink

Anyhow, this morning have had some dioareahh (sp??) and remember when curls posted that and thinkign ooooh that means baby will be here in a couple of days, so fingers crossed!

ski you forgot LATE 30s! Wink I'm 36 remember, that's almost 40. WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN??????

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 23/08/2010 10:13

hope you're feeling ok on it, though

Cosmosis · 23/08/2010 10:21

yah am feeling fine. have had a couple of period painy twinges in the back and front, but am unsure if they're poo related, or wot.

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 23/08/2010 10:27

Cossie Grin It's coming!

OkieCokie · 23/08/2010 14:08

Ooo Ooo sounds like early stages to me. Put your feet up for one last time and read mags and watch crap telly....

organiccarrotcake · 23/08/2010 16:53

Just got back from camping! Haven't caught up at all (will try to later, depends on Comma) but noticed Cos's post - good luck!! Hope it's the Big L! xxx

Had a mostly fun week, some problems but glad for the break. V proud of our washing line of nappies going between the Landie and the tent Grin. Comma refused to sleep in carrycot so ended up in my sleeping bag (as YOB puts it, sleeping in the pantry) which is a mummy-style tapered one with no space spare, so I had to open it to cover us like a duvet. He then proceeded to encourage kick me off the sleeping mat so I mostly ended up on the floor!

Cosmosis · 23/08/2010 17:12

love the image of the washing line rots :)

FannyPriceless · 23/08/2010 17:52

cos Anything happening? Or have you just done a poo and forgotten about it?

caspy Please can you organise a diet and fitness plan for me too? Only it will need to involve you coming to my house and surreptitiously substituting low cal alternatives than look and taste exactly the same as brie, roast belly pork, and tiramisu.Wink

ski Re feeding two bairns - how close together do you mean? From 12 mths old they can drink cows milk. And theoretically they also sit quietly at the table and drink their milk out of a beaker. (Yeah, good luck with that one.Hmm)

honey On the SPD question, I am rapidly getting back to normal.Grin Yesterday we went for a walk in the woods and I carried Clyde in the front sling up and down hills for a couple of hours! This is an actual miracle.

Cosmosis · 23/08/2010 18:04

fanny just got a bit of back achy period pain is all.

Backinthebox · 23/08/2010 21:15

Fanny "And theoretically they also sit quietly at the table and drink their milk out of a beaker." Er, yes. We are still waiting for that to happen. My friend's 8 year old son likes his milk warm and out of a beaker with a lid on - we are not allowed to mention this if his friends are round to play though.

Cos go and enjoy your last few days (or hours Hmm) of being able to poo all by your self. Grin

On the subject of poos (and wees. We all know how fond we are of poo and wee topics round here!) DD has finally cracked it! YAY!!! She has suddenly got the idea of taking herself off to the loo when she needs to. Out and about she doesn't ask yet but has got the idea of 'just in case' visits to the loo - and they are all the more exciting if you are going to the 'secret toilet.' This means we often have to sit in the toilet saying things like 'can you hear mummy's secret just in case wee-wee? Have you got one too?' Which causes sniggers from other loo users. But I don't care - I won't have two lots of nappies to change. Hurray! I can lay the baybee now. Grin

SkiHorseWonAWean · 24/08/2010 06:10

fanny Minimum gap would be 15 months - yes, sitting quietly with a sippy-cup sounds fine.

Fingernails trimmed = 10, number of fingers bleeding/hanging off =3. :(

OkieCokie · 24/08/2010 09:46

Box glad you got the toilet issue sorted before baybeeee number 2, this an ideal world.

I can not get mini oke to drop the bottle let alone have a sippy. Every month or so I try and he has a total melt down and refuses all milk - won't even hold the cup. Water/juice from a cup = fine, milk = it is like I am trying to poison him. Apparently at nursery he drinks milk from a cup no problem Hmm. I am passed caring. If he wants to drink from a bottle aged 14 then he can.

Do we think Cos may be laying a baybeeee today??

cheggers · 24/08/2010 10:17

ooh cossies's baby is coming ...

Cosmosis · 24/08/2010 10:34
