Luce...I am very sad for your dd and hope she is ok.It is upsetting for you and your other half isn't it?I really hope all is well from now on.
SB...iT WAS THE ent cONS THAT ORDERED mri...iT WAS OF MY EARS AND HEAD.i DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO SUGGEST when I have my appt on 25th...I don't think it is vestibular migraine bit maybe it is!
Maybe this is how I will be forever! If I had a job where I could sit it wouldn't be so bad but mine involves being up and down stairs[lifts] and lots of activity...I practice at home every now and then and ususally fall over!
I have a meeting at work on 19th[eek]
Hope all are well.xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Doobydoo · 05/11/2010 07:26

Luce...I am in Lincolnshire[so abit nearer than Ireland] Grin

Bugmum · 06/11/2010 13:13

Looked in just to have a lurky nose, and roughly got the gist of what is happening with Dooby. Assume they have tested you for BPPV? That's very easily treated. I have recurrent dizziness problems that are not BPPV, which they are treating with vestibular exercises. Trouble is, most GPs and even many hospitals don't know about these.
Just a thought. Maybe you've been through all this already. Take care x

oooggs · 07/11/2010 08:50

Sexonlegs · 09/11/2010 08:35

Morning all.

Thought I'd pop on and see what's been happening, and it has been hectic on here.

Dooby, have been thinking about you, and so glad the MRI scan revealed nothing dodgy. Hope the next appointment goes well and you are feeling ok. xx

SB, what puppy did you get? I am so pleased the dc are enjoying him/her. I hope you are ok. xx

Luce, how is your dd1 doing? WHat a dreadful thing to happen. Hope you are ok. xx

Pesha, WOWWWWWWWWW!!!! You mad woman :) Seriously, very pleased for you, and hope you are feeling ok.xx

Hi SPB, Dippy and Oooggs and everyone I have missed.

B had her op yesterday and all went fine. She was incredibly brave bless her. Not such a good night as she was in quite a lot of pain, so not much sleep here. Hey ho.

The other news is that we move house on the 23rd!! I am still in shock, as this time last week, the Solicitor still hadn't heard from the buyer's solicitor, and then last Tuesday lunchtime I got an email saying they wanted to exchange as long as we could complete by the 23rd! Got a removal man coming round this a.m. to give us a final quote.

Wrt to my Mum, she is not doing so well at the moment. As you know the Cancer has spread to her lungs as well as her liver, and she is showing typical signs of lung cancer. My Dad is also struggling with a bad back and was due to have an op last Thursday. That was postponed and it is due to be this Thursday, but as Mum is not doing so well, she is having an early appointment with her oncologist this evening, and depending on that, Dad may or may not have his op this week.

So, a mixed bag in this house!!

Anyway, I need to get on otherwise the removal man will catch me in my pj's - not a good look!!

Love to all. xx

oooggs · 09/11/2010 09:14

SOL, I am so sorry that things are not good with your parents at the moment, thinking of you all, look after yourself.
Really pleased that the house move is sorted though Smile
We got a staffordshire bull terrier pup, same breed as our other dog. He is lovely, very very lively!

Oooggs, if I could get dh to have the snip I would, but he refuses, big baby!

Dooby, hope you get things sorted soon. Being off balance all the time must be awful.

I am tired, we were away over the weekend with family and it was brilliant, but very busy and exhausting!

That's it from me, take care all xx

Doobydoo · 10/11/2010 08:17

Sexonlegs · 10/11/2010 08:22

Morning all :)

To top it all off I have been diagnosed as having an ovarian cyst [scared emoticon] Had a scan last night and the lady was quite evasive as to what type it was etc. Need to see GP and take it from there. Anyone had any experience?

Doobydoo · 10/11/2010 09:20

sol...hAVE NO EXPERIENCE...WHY DON'T YOU START THREAD[might be helpful]
Sooo sorry really hope you get sorted...bloody heck.
Are you in pain

Sexonlegs · 10/11/2010 09:33

Thanks Dooby. I have started a thread.

No pain per se. I have been getting pain around ovulation time though which alerted me a bit.

Seems they are quite common. Just need to know what type it is and what they plan to do with it.

How are you doing? xx

Doobydoo · 10/11/2010 10:03

Hope you get it sorted soon. You are v busy!
Am ok very dizzy/vertigoey on n off. Can't work at the mo.This was not part of the plan!Have to wait til 25th to see what Cons says.

ScarletBandit · 10/11/2010 12:30

SOL, you poor thing, you have a lot going on at the mo. Take care x

Nothing much going on here today, both dc's in school so I am doing housewife type things!

oooggs · 10/11/2010 19:31

dooby - James is totally into star wars and lego and it has rubbed off on Jack who has never seen it. Jack came down with 16p out of his money box and gave it to dh saying he wanted to go to the shop right now and buy some star wars lego - bless him

Doobydoo · 11/11/2010 08:26

Grin how sweet Oooggs.
Hope you got some reassuring answers SOL...I am thinking of you I know you are scared.Keep us posted.
Hope you all enjoying the weatherHmm
xx

Pesha · 11/11/2010 11:35

Gosh Sol you really do have a lot going on at the moment don't you?! What op did B have? When are you seeing the GP about your cyst? Hope you can get to see someone soon an get some answers, I find not knowing what you're facing is the hardest thing. Sory to hear about your mum, havent been around for ages so hadn't realised. I hope her oncologist appointment went as well as these things can and your dad is able to have his op.

SB - my friend has a 1 yo staffy and he is absolutely loopy and manic!! Lovely dogs though Smile

Dooby - hope you get some answers at your appointment and thay are able to do something for you.

Thank you for all congratulations Smile I am now feeling very sick and very miserable and sorry for myself! Being sick every morning but then spending the rest of the day feeling sick and rushing to the toilet thinking I'm going to be but not actually managing it which I think is worse than being sick cos at least then you get 10 mins or after when you don't feel sick. Have been working all week but meant to have a 10 hr day tomorrow and really cant face it so going to have to tell mindees parents tonight I think. I hate, hate, HATE this stage of pregnancy, really starting to question if I actually want another baby enough to warrant going through all this!! Not that I have a lot of choice now!

Sexonlegs · 11/11/2010 16:57

Hi loves

Dooby, hope you are ok. Dizziness is horrid:(

Pesha, how many months pg are you? Sorry about the sickness. I was so lucky and never had that at all.

Hope everyone is ok.

All going mad here. Had a call from my GP to say she was referring me to the gynae, and have now just had a call from the hospital for an appt on Monday morning.

It worries me that they are moving so quickly. I feel sick with worry :(

Can't believe so much is kicking off atm.

Bramshott · 12/11/2010 10:29

Oh gosh SOL, you really have it all on your plate at the moment don't you! Sorry to hear about your cyst, and that your mum isn't doing well. Hopefully the appointment on Monday will give you some answers on the former. Thinking of you.

Just also seen another post from NL about her about to be BIL having terminal lung cancer - very sad. Sad

Okay here - N off school with a temperature so we're having a quiet day.

ScarletBandit · 12/11/2010 20:09

SOL, it is a good thing that you have an appointment so quickly. At least you can get some answers without having to wait too long. You must be so scared, I hope you get some chance to relax over the weekend. Thinking of you xx

F was off school today, high temperature overnight last night and complaining of a sore throat.
She is in bed now, but unsettled so am thinking I am in for another sleepless night.
Doctor said she had a red throat but nothing much else, but tonight she does have a suspicious looking spot on her chin.
I am not sure whether she has ever had chickenpox. A year ago she had some odd looking spots on her legs which the GP thought may have been pox but he couldn't be sure, so I will be keeping an eye for any more that may appear!

Sexonlegs · 13/11/2010 09:01

Hi all.

SB, how's F doing?

Hope everyone is ok.

Update from here is that my Mum is not good. She was in hospital Tuesday night which I only found out Thursday night as she has calcium in her blood :( Not good. She said to my brother that this is the last stage :( I am so down. I am fine when I am out and about busy, but then I get in to bed and even though I am tired I can't sleep due to stress. I am being quite snappy with the girls as well which is just not on.

Apart from that, I did have a great night out last night at the school quiz, even though we came joint second bottom!!

Sorry for the rant but no-one apart from dh and db know about my situation.

Bramshott · 13/11/2010 11:18

Oh SOL - so sorry to hear that about your mum.
