How's K today SOL?

My girls are all off school / CM - DD2 puked at about 5pm y'day; then DD1 at 11pm & DD3 threw up an entire bowl of Weetabix at breakfast this morning; then proceeded to sit and eat two further bowls of cereal. Gross. DDs 1&2 have also had runny bottoms too; but not P Not more sick though, which is good. P very tired and whingy now, which is tough. I am tired!!!!

Thanks for all the wishes, I am ok. Ds took the news incredibly well, it was F that really cried which took me by surprise. I thought that because she was so young she would just take it all in a matter of fact kind of way, but she was very upset.
She is ok now though, they both keep asking me when we can get a new dog!
All they have ever known is our house with a dog living in it, and ds told me that the house doesn't feel quite right now. Talk about a guilt trip!

Hope everyone is ok, I am off today then back to work tomorrow unfortunately. See you all soon xx

B having a minor op in a few weeks to remove something on her ankle. She has to have a ga which is a bit nerve wracking, but am sure will be fine.

I am sure she will be fine too SOL.When ds1 had a GA I was beside meself[longest 20 mins of my life!]He recovered very quickly[quicker than his parents!]
I namechanged originally as didn't want to alert family members who may then worry as they all have enough going on.But have told 'em now.Also as I haven't been able to work for quite sometime I think they were wondering what was going on anyway.
Hope your housemove goes ahead without any probs...tis stressful for you.Also hope your mum is doing ok too?

House move going ok'ish although worried that the buyers are dragging their feet. Seems they have a few more enquiries for us although why they didn't raise them weeks ago when the homebuyers report was done I don't know!! We need to be in the new place by mid january or it is pointless.

Yes, we do have another dog already. Too soon for me tbh and I have been feeling very guilty that within a few days of losing Ben we have replaced him
I am still teary at times. I thought I had cleared away all the old things, but I went into the cupboard this morning and found some of the old dog food - made me cry.

Having said that, it is totally the right choice for the children who absolutely adore the puppy already. He has definitely plugged the gap for them iykwim.
The good thing is that F is no longer upset, and ds runs downstairs every morning desperate to see our newest addition
So basically, I am struggling with my feelings, but they are both overjoyed, which is what I was hoping for

SOL, sorry, didn't mean to make you cry. Made two of my workmates cry last week too, and when they start they get me going!

Anyway, enough of me rambling on once again.

SOL, hope the house is sorted soon. Some people are just a pita. How is your mum doing these days?

Dooby, I have been thinking of you over the last few days. I am glad you have been able to share things with your family, I am sure they must have been worrying about you, and at least now you can vocalise with other people. Hope you get the scan date through really soon, sometimes I think the waiting is worse.

I am off now, need to tidy up a bit before doing the school run. Have sat on my bum for most of the day so far and watched a dvd. Very rarely get to do that so I have enjoyed it!

Got scan date on Saurday.It is at 7pm in Nottingham.My sister is taking me...ROAD TRIP I have a follow up appt end of Nov with consultant but would like results sooner!
I am scared they will find something[depends what it is]and scared they won't as need to know what is going on[if that makes sense]

How is everyone and everything? I would read the thread but dont have time for things like that (or mental capacity to take any of it in!!) so if anyone feels like giving me a catch up of key things that have happened in, um, the last 6 months or so that'd be fab!! Hope everything has been good overall iyswim.

Am going to significantly cut down my work hours soon as my health is suffering so will hopefully be around a bit more again, well maybe not till after christmas as have to work notice (which I haven't actually given yet!) and then its christmas and all isn't it but will aim to become a regular again in the new year!
