Thought we don't give a shit could cause issues for thems that don't like swearing.

Spring clean day today. Urgh. Freecycle and ebay galore.

I need iron am all wibbly.

Um, forgotten most of what I meant to say.

Frizbe - gonna send you a cheque. I typed in your bank details wrong and it bounced back

Strawberry not a well bunny. Hoping it is just a bug, but she has a suspiciously poxy looking spot too...

Flamesparrow · 07/05/2010 18:33

I haven't had any from you in ages!

Jas · 07/05/2010 20:43

Oh, bollocks.

Sorry. I only came on to check when the meet is as I didn't write it down, and see it is next weekend.
I'm a definite no-show, then guys,

Really sorry, but dp is still working nights and weekends. This Sunday is his first day off in a month, and no way will he get next weekend off as well. sorry again

I'm really rubbish about coming on mn at all lately. My book circle has imploded, I've given up on Flylady, and see what you are all up to from facebook. (I'm on most days now as I need to snoop on dd1 who has been allowed her own account after almost two years of begging.)

I still have no computer of my own so can't come on in the evenings when dp is working, and it isn't worth putting up with the muttering and moaning if I spend long on here during the day.

Phoenix · 07/05/2010 21:14

I'm going to be a no show now too. Money isn't good this month anyway but dh is only going to get a few weeks wage and he doesn't get his redundancy money until 18th June. Plus Noah's sleep still isn't great and he ends up in our bed every single night and dh isn't comfortable having him sleep with him, plus we go to Cornwall on 22nd May and can't afford the extra diesel. SORRY, SORRY, SORRY

Frizbe · 07/05/2010 22:21

Gah! so are we on, or are we off? would we be better to re schedule for later in the year? when CSWS has a lovely new baby to cuddle, MRM is in her Jeans and we're all more sorted?

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/05/2010 22:40

I just arranged today for dd to go to a friend's for the night next sat, so as far as I'm concerned we're still on!

It'll be mrm, flame, friz, EPPM and me still won't it - can you all confirm that you are still up for it please?!

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2010 07:43

Yup, I'm still on. I'm bringing MRM with me so she can't back out. She has requested Strawberry come - you all ok with that?

mustrunmore · 08/05/2010 10:57

Disclaimer: Flame coerced me into it when I was busy clearing the friends flat, and I had to do quick replies to texts. Pluss she promised me my huge jeans back (which prob ownr fit either)

Disclaimer2: I am not broody, I just wanna have a little go with her

So, if its on, what shall I bring pls? No point in wine surely, csws has so much already

mustrunmore · 08/05/2010 10:59

And for the record, I'm very pissed off with Jas and Phoenix for not coming.......

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2010 11:30

@ "have a go with her"

Jas · 08/05/2010 14:00

Sorry again, mrm. Any chance you can bring back my shoes that I left there last year??
I've just bought a new season ticket for the gunpowder mills so I can get you in there in the summer again.

Phoenix · 08/05/2010 14:03

Sorry mrm but i'd rather pay my mortgage and bills than a tank of diesel that i don't really need iykwim.

mustrunmore · 08/05/2010 14:53

Yep, can do, if you think you'll see me sooner than csws. We were goonna go gunpowder mills wih my Dad, forgetting their dubious opening hours! HJe wanted to see where our ancestors worked WEnt to mountfitchet instead

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/05/2010 20:29

Ironically Jas, we drove past the outskirts of your town today, and I said to dh that we could have brought your shoes back if we'd known the route we would be taking!

I wouldn't bank on us having loads of wine in mrm, as we haven't bought any for a year or more - no point with me not drinking!

What time are people thinking of coming (any time is fine - just like to know)?

Just EPPM to confirm now. Will give her a couple more days and then start to harrass her .

EachPeachPearMum · 08/05/2010 22:18

No need to harrass- I am here... but I was sidling on to say I'm not sure...
I am free, and I would love to come... but DS is still bf at night (after being so poorly he has started up a 3am feed... gah) and he will scream the house down if Mama isn't there at bedtime... which leads me to say I would have to bring him, but I realise that wasn't really the plan and isn't fair on the rest of you (though on the plus side, he does go to bed at 6:30).
What do you think?

sorry.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/05/2010 22:38

Well my ds will be here anyway EPPM (he sleeps fairly well at home but terribly anywhere else, and in-laws already have guests so couldn't have him and dh anyway), so it would give him someone to play with.
Does he sleep in bed with you, or same room but diff bed, or diff room?
I figure we'll put flame and mrm and strawb in their usual room, as they like cosying up together , and then we have dd's room free with 2 single/1 big double bed, and the library which is choca with crap, but could be cleared a bit, and then space in living or playroom to put other beds if necessary.
Actually now we're a couple down I guess that you and ds could go up in dd's room, and friz can take her pick between library or sticking her airbed thingy in playroom.
So in summary bringing him is fine with me!

EachPeachPearMum · 08/05/2010 23:25

He sleeps in a cotbed at home, but will sleep in a bed with me too (unlike dd) which he does whenever he's poorly.

Would like to know how others feel about having DC there... I know it was supposed to be adults only!

Flamesparrow · 09/05/2010 12:45

No problem here

mustrunmore · 09/05/2010 16:28

I'm happy with kids cos they're not mine

Flamesparrow · 09/05/2010 16:42

how much is it in the shop???

Love that me and mrm have "our room"

Frizbe · 09/05/2010 19:00

I'm happy with kids that aren't mine too OK, so I'll go to work for half a day (ish) on Sat, then will make my way down, reckon I can be at yours for 3ish CSWS is that ok?

Just heard that my (oldest from school) mates dad (the one you met Flame) has had a stroke on Kinder Scout, he's been airlifted off....he's a volunteer ranger, thankfully he was with someone, often isn't...he's been taken to Sheffield Hospital....fingers x'd they got to him in time/he responds to treatment well. It never rains eh....(buried my aunt last Fri)

mustrunmore · 09/05/2010 19:17

9.99. With post, they've paid me 9.01, so saving themselves 98p

Yet another round of flat-clearing. Gave sofa/armchair and a ardrobe to the girl 2 floors down.. omg that was hard work! That was our old sofa, given to us by DL as he was known on here a while ago , so it was v nostalgic! Its made a big space though. I rtook anoth 2 binnags to the bins (did 8 the other day), and there is shitloads for charityshop when I can rope in a frind with a car again! I think we're aout 90% cleaed out now. Its still very odd feeling.

Of course me and you have our room Flame; thats the emerganct hideout in case we ever needit

Frizbe · 09/05/2010 19:57

Is this a mega spring cleaning MRM?

Waiting with baited breath to see if ss can come on hols with us or not, having already paid for him, turns out his mum hasn't booked him the time of school(despite us asking her too in Jan) and they were not happy when she called up to request it..she's waiting for their final reply....but we won't be able to get a refund as budget airline.....(provided we can fly due to ash anyway) the whole thing could be a very costly tits up

mustrunmore · 09/05/2010 20:59

Its the emptying of our friends flat, she died a few weeks ago. But it is spring, and I am cleaning, I guess

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/05/2010 21:59

3ish is fine Friz.

Other than mrm being a veggie, are there any special dietary requirements? Thinking I might knock up a lasagne for tea if that suits everyone, and will do a veggie version for mrm.

mustrunmore · 10/05/2010 07:33

Lots of water Will bring some, given that I'm coming in luxury with flame
