Spring clean day today. Urgh. Freecycle and ebay galore.

Um, forgotten most of what I meant to say.

Frizbe - gonna send you a cheque. I typed in your bank details wrong and it bounced back

Strawberry not a well bunny. Hoping it is just a bug, but she has a suspiciously poxy looking spot too...

Long journey to holidays today, with a nice stop off to meet friends for lunch enroute. I'd like the nice weather to continue please!

Is your heating fixed now EPPM?

WhatDoFlamesDoTheseDays · 11/04/2010 20:44

You'd better turn up.

Frizbe · 11/04/2010 21:48

Flame, If she doesn't turn up we can just go and get her kidnap by citroen.....and I have no idea why, must be something to do with relaxing or female bonding or sumat...

WhatDoFlamesDoTheseDays · 11/04/2010 21:55

Jas · 12/04/2010 20:55

No holidays here, but we might be getting a new (very old) car soon

Frizbe · 12/04/2010 22:14

yay for car Jas, so happy for you to be mobile again soon!

CSWS looks lovely, hope you're having an ok time, tho did spot of FB that not much sleep for you last night......

Flame has abandoned us all up here now , poor dd1 is gutted, as flames dd1 told her she'd see her tomorrow (slight missunderstanding by the kids I think, unless they know something we don't) so she went out with my friend for an hour or so this avo and came back with a new cuddly for flames dd1, I've told her, she'll have to keep it until next time they meet (or I may bring it to CSWS's)

Our car is also having isshoooos, which may result in it being dead, depending on costs...tba...(with my dad's mate again!whilst I pray to the Gods of small car isshooos)

mustrunmore · 14/04/2010 10:59

Then you can come and visit Jas! I was gonne text you yest, as I had this idea to come to the mills; then found out its only opening 24th weekends. Oops! Was going to go to the museum thingy too to finally see my ancestry; apparently, not only is a family signature preserved on the wall like I told you, its because that used to be the family home! See? Once we werent so pikey Anyway, we went to mountfitchet insteaf.Boys had a great time.

Finished off my dodgy turfing this morning

And the boys are soooo excited we're having pirate hall flooring . The very expensive stuff that was on the Pirates of Caribbean set (set gonwe now). Hurray! I laid it out, and we have just he right amount.Doing it proprly tomnight.

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/04/2010 12:00

Have you heard about the iron yet mrm? I thought you didn't do ironing though?
Never seen pirates, so have no idea what you're on about. When you say 'expensive stuff' are we talking amtico or something like it?

New car v good news Jas. You can come and play in the summer (and meet the new baby).

Car ishoos not such good news for you though Friz.
Our new car has a slow puncture, so we're going to need to repair it or get a new tyre already. We've not come away in it though - it's gone off to have dvd system fitted.

mustrunmore · 14/04/2010 12:08

Yep, that kind of thing. Couldnt provide you with the name of the colour/style though! Just think old pirate decking.
Not heard about iron. I dont iron cos its hard work, hence my interest in something that professes to be a bit of genius

Frizbe · 15/04/2010 22:29

Woot for pirate flooring sounds fab, pics please!

Ouch for new tyres needed CSWS, they're not cheap on your new car.....

We've had a sealent put in our car, which will tide it over for a bit, having to drive around with hotwater in a flask and a towel, just in case it goes.....have been advised to keep trips local and car may last quite some time....in meantime, we're looking at car options for what to do next time to get it traded!

mustrunmore · 16/04/2010 09:07

Er, didnt get round to laying the flooring; dh came home and decided its a bigmanjobnotformetodo

Went to see Percy Jackson yest; highly recommended; both boys loved it. On the cheap showing!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/04/2010 21:24

Boo!

Tyre fixing only cost about £20 friz .

Frizbe · 20/04/2010 22:56

and phew for you CSWS, I guess I was thinking new tyre eh!

Jas saw on facebook, yay for new car

Jas · 22/04/2010 10:52

mustrunmore · 24/04/2010 08:42

I really shoud lokk at facebook sometimes!

Frizbe · 24/04/2010 21:37

Boo! no posts for a week? are we all grown up now?

mustrunmore · 25/04/2010 09:05

Never grown up. Just nothing going on.
Today's picnic plan is scuppered by rain . Took ds2 swimming yest, he had a whale of a time; really enjoys near-drowning!
I still dont fit in a single pair of jeans

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/04/2010 15:47

Aaarggh - flame, am totally and utterly confused by weenotions website - help!

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2010 15:50

sup?

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/04/2010 16:13

Ooh ello!
I don't understand what is available to buy - too many combos and fabric options confusing. I like some of the limited edition cotton fabrics, but can I get those with an AI2 nappy? If not, then what do I get them with? I don't even know what minkee is . That'll do to start with...

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2010 16:19

Damn you. I hadn't seen AI2s. I want a bee one now.

Right, I think that the limiteds are only available with basic nappies (so northern lights or night notions) rather than the ones with an outer like the pockets or ai2s. Or you can have the limited as just a PUL wrap.

Minkee is sort of like v v soft velvety stuff. Feels lovely. I don't recommend having it on the INSIDE of a nappy though as all my ones with minkee inners wick.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/04/2010 16:41

Oh, sorry! Which are the ones that you always rave about then if not the AI2? I am more confused than ever now. I like this fabric (and lots of others that are def more girly so no use to me) but really wanted an AI2 I think. Am just looking to spend the £40 that I can reclaim from council.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/04/2010 16:48

And as lovely as they look, why would anyone want a brightly patterned breast pad which might show through their clothes ?
