Thanks for that VG and Miamla - unfortunately Miamla she chose her e-mail to tell us all she was pregnant again and very tired and sick with it so my feeling better at 17 weeks isn't going to hold much water! As for rescheduling it is the little ones Secret santa and party so I want it to go ahead. Another girl can't make all of it as her DD has swimming and another nursery party but was still willing to try and squish it all in even if she only saw us for an hour. I just sent back an very short e-mail saying 'make up your minds and let me know what you decided I don't have the energy to make any other plans.' Rude I know but so was she!

I have ordered my books - due to arrive by Friday

oopsandbabyJesusinacoconut · 15/12/2009 11:25

ooh does anyone have googlewave? apparently you have have mass chat ins!

QueenofDreams · 15/12/2009 11:31

Hey ladies.
at that oops how rude of her.

vg

I have done all my wrapping. At least 30 odd gifts last night, while watching Twilight again..

I am on quick as dh is upstairs with dd and fil, as dd is showing 'grandad' some of her toys.

We were about to go out to bil house but cant mention it infront of fil as they have fell out, and dh feels uncomfartable telling his own dad that he was about to go and see his own brother and vise versa. Families eh?

steaky tantrums Oh yes. Big time.
IN fact had a shocking night. Up with ds from 12 till 3am. then he was up at 6.
Not screaming crying, but screaming angry. No idea why.
another illness brewing no doubt

DD refused to go to pre school this am as dh was home. Now I am not one for giving in and not making her go, but the guilt of her her not seeing dh for few days due to his shift pattern, made me think oh whatever.
She has been quite upset past few days not seeing him in the morning or the evening

So when she saw him this am she said 'don't want you mummy, I want daddy'
So he took her shopping while me and ds went to farm.
Only annoys me because I have to pay if she goes or not. Dh wants to pull her out as he says its not worth it.
He also thinks that when she starts afternoons in september, ds will start in mornig so it will be ridiculous going back and forth all day.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 15/12/2009 12:45

vice even. Don't know why I bother to correct myself as don't write/punctuate properly anyway. [lazy emoticon]

miamla · 15/12/2009 13:51

i'm on googlewave! oops are you on? if not, i've got a few invites gwan on you will...come and be my googlewave friend!!!

i've got 8 invites, i think, so first 8 who say 'give me one you big hunk of loveliness' get to join me

ooh so its a day for ordering books what did you get Oops? oh and well done on your reply, you told em that you're not taking any nonsense! can't believe you're 17 weeks already!

vg yup, always ready for you my dear just let me know when you're on and fancy a chat. i'm assuming a glass of wine will be compulsory?

no1 sounds like you've got even more fun and games with your family than i have!

PoinsettiaBouquets · 15/12/2009 13:54

No1 Aah, I don't blame you for giving her the day off, sounds like she needed some Daddytime. When does she start getting free pre-school then? Would they really both be at pre-school in the same year?

Am writing it down so you can nag me if I don't do it, "am going to do some wrapping tonight". Thanks.

steaknife · 15/12/2009 14:09

dizzycringles · 15/12/2009 17:00

doing a cavey jump in to say hi too, inlaws away, dad here, shift in cafe this morning, meeting straight after, dash home for school party, work on puter this afternoon, meeting tonight and vino collapso and wrapping scheduled for tonight

SazzlesOnASled · 15/12/2009 17:31

LOL at you hi! jumpers

Have completed present audit and i must say i am mightily chuffed with the gifts i have chosen. One small problem is that i seem to have 'collected' rather too many gifts for the girls . Am trying to work out how to distract DH on Christmas day so he doesn;t realise they are all from us

This is the dolls house i picked up today. It also has two extensions and by the look of it about 6 of the interiors sets. So i reckon about £250 of stuff for £40!! I am thinking now that we should have given them this (rather than my sister) and not bought the kitchen. EEk. Am hoping they might email and say the kitchen is out of stock

Ladies - I have been a super sulky brat and called Friday off, if they want to organise themselves then they can go ahead. DD and I are taking all the goodies we have made down to the local old folks home for their CHristmas party at lunchtime on Friday. Makes me feel good and will hopefully make some oldies who have no family to go to have a good Christmas.

Sazzles - I have had to restrain myself this last week or DD would be getting a whole heap of things I didn't plan for. So far she has a kitchen (not a posh one) a buggy, some posh wooden food and a whole heap of little things. Very posh dolls house of your bargains.
