oh Sazz, poor little DD2. i'd be cross if i were you, as No1 said, its not the attacking that's the problem so much, its the ignoring of the person ie the adult who should know better

miamla · 14/12/2009 20:40

haven't you finished your wrapping yet sazz? such a slacker!

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 20:42

It is hand miamla, planning stages . I don't want to rush it and ruin it all

Oh, i forgot the excitement of the day . DD's had a big bowl of curry for tea and then had a bath. I fear the lentils had an immediate effect on DD2 who adorned the bath with little floating pellets

oopsandbabyJesusinacoconut · 14/12/2009 20:46

Hotsy - poor you at least no damage done to anything apart from your ego.

Sazzles - you are more than welcome to see the tackfest lights anytime. Can you mail me your addy please.

No1 - great to hear DD and DS are being so delightful and that you are all on the mend.

Cyteen - only 2.30 - lightweight!

PB - I had read it that you and you neighbour had had dirty sex and was a little that you DH was so liberal then re-read it

Dizzy -

VG - how is Mammy today? and the poorly boy is he any better?

QOD - the ILs tried that today at lunch with DD and babychinnos I said No, she needs to eat her lunch and they said 'well we are paying' So I went and paid the bill and said no babychinno now. DH nearly wet himself trying to stifle his giggles as FILs face. He then phoned and told them our baby our rules, if they want to make rules then have a baby or try the cat

Homemade ham and pineapple pizza for dinner and 5 choccie covered hazelnuts.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/12/2009 20:50

oops what is babychinnos?
What is wrong with the ILs. They sound a bit arsey.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/12/2009 20:51

I really Should not be here.
I am getting like sazzles the wrapping will never get done.

oopsandbabyJesusinacoconut · 14/12/2009 20:52

Sazzles - what a lovely bathtime gift I can't believe any mother would consistently ignore their monster child's little darling's behavior especially when a particular child iss targetted.

oopsandbabyJesusinacoconut · 14/12/2009 20:54

No1 -they are frothy milk with chocolate ontop and a marshmallow - DD is not allowed choccie as it makes her vomit and marshmallows just a no no with the sugar content.

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 20:54

OMG, watch out for the hormonal preggy lady . I'll bet DH was just pleased he wasn't on the receiving end

My parents and PIL's are not too bad with giving DD's stuff i don't - occassional chocolates/sweets etc. However i do subscribe to No1's everything in moderation. So although they mainly have water or a bit of apple juice (and tea ) for DD1, they have squash at playgroup and if made for them elsewhere. DD1 usually says she doesn't like it if it is anything but blackcurrant as it is 'too spicy'
I would however be pretty pissed off if anyone called me a 'nasty mummy' other than tongue in cheek with good friends about what i did give them

steaknife · 14/12/2009 20:55

t'da!

Finally, finally I found a useful fecker someone who knows what they are talking about on the AOL helpdesk. T'was the router settings which had reset themeselves, but then the last few days my connection has been dropping out too. Yer Man worked out it was the filter and that t'interweb only works when I am on the phone. Swapped filters and still the same problem, but now at least I know all I have to do is switch the phone on and off to get t'interweb. Will be buying a new filter tomorrow, or when my makeshiftyness fails.

Wotchoo all been doing?

Not much other than MNing by the looks of it - 16 pages since midnight on Saturday night!

See, i'm a bad influence No1 . You can't keep away from these festive hats can you?

Now, rather than wrapping i think you should think up a new Christmassy name

Thanks for your support re DD2. I will say something in the New Year if the biting/pinching continues and little is done to address it

oopsandbabyJesusinacoconut · 14/12/2009 20:58

What is all this wrapping talk - I still haven't bought everything yet. DD needs stocking fillers as does DH and DH needs a gift - any suggestions for a man who has everything and when he fancies something new he just buys it - even 2 weeks before christmas He likes food, has a new dressing gown, and just bought a new PS3 game. DD's Peppa pig buggy arrived today - I am never letting DH loose on the web again!

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 20:59

Sorry Steaky - twas me and Dizzy

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/12/2009 21:04

Hey steaky

Thought it must be something like that oops.
I am regularly told I am mean with what I will and will not allow dcs to have. I don't care anymore what people think.

You are a bad influence sazzles. The dvd is flashing and waiting to be played. Bags of gifts on room floor. Can't be arsed though.

oops I bet the peppa pig buggy is very cute. DD would love that.

I maybe getting dh this
thispage
Should think twice, as I will be the one playing with him.
I would prefer the pool table, but then I would have to take my Pole down and that is not going to happen.

miamla · 14/12/2009 21:04

I did some wrapping today

oops what about a hamper for him? with extra specially nice bits in it eg if he likes mushrooms, a bag of dried porcini mushrooms and erm other stuff like that
Am i right in thinking he likes cooking? do your grow your own herbs already? if not, why not start him off with a few in nice named pots

miamla · 14/12/2009 21:06

no1 that looks great for £30!!!

oopsandbabyJesusinacoconut · 14/12/2009 21:08

Miamla - My DH cooking [pmsl] no he is not the cooking type - I bought him a cooking course one year and has never used any of the skills learnt. Maybe just food he can eat NOW!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/12/2009 21:09

Not bad price from £99 is it.

Also the pool table was £199 down to 30 too.

Hamper lovely idea miamla
I know I am getting a hamper off my dsis as her dp works for Ringtons,so we have lots of lovely biscuits, and the like..

I really am going now, its either wrapping or ironing.

actually ds screaming so probably none now.

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 21:12

Did you see the pool table in Halfords too - down from £200 to £30

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/12/2009 21:12

oops you could do a hamper with all his favouite ready to eat nibbles/tipples.

Does he have a sweet tooth?
Could do lovely crackers,cheeses,port maybe?

Get a seegrass basket, tissue paper in bottom.
Visit florist for that clear celophane stuff and they make up a big ribbon bow thingy too.
Job done.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 14/12/2009 21:13

Yes sazzles That is what I really want, but not enough room because of my --fitness-rofl at fitness Pole.
It is a bargain.
INfact Argos have one reduced from 250 to 50 that looks better.

miamla · 14/12/2009 21:15

you see oops, a hamper's a good idea even if he doesn't cook!
what about some blokey kitchen gadgets in it like a blow torch for creme brulee?

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 21:17

No1 thanks for the florist tip for cellophane - i was wondering how to cover my Dad's one

I am not sure what i am getting DH, he has ordered it. I would place a very large small bet on the fact that it will be Land Rover related . He also has some books, a stockpot and a jumper plus his stocking gifts

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 21:18

Oh crikey, i am doing him a disservice . Just checked and apparently i am giving him an advanced tank driving course

Sorry, forgot to say Hi to steaky

miamla · 14/12/2009 21:22

woah! your DH is cool sazz!
