ts what a day. No wonder you were worried. Any kind of rash makes me panic and google.

Hope you are ok. {{{{{hugs}}}}}

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:07

Evening, just been watching Masterchef and feeling slightly queasy at undercooked kidneys [bleugh]

I'm afraid to say glamour and i are not close bedfellows

no1 so glad dd1 is feeling better and able to go to sleep . Enjoy the wine

TS DD2 has a rash now from her MMR (i believe) - only on her arms so i am just monitoring it in case it spreads. She seems better in herself today though

ann has DS gone to bed ok?

The only thing DD2 really scoffs is peaches. Savoury items do not seem to ring her bell . Not even chips [odd child]
DD1 is still on her grapefruit scoffing mission. From my bowl, obviously. I'm sure she would screw up her face if i presented her with her own bowlful

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:12

Lol at the grapefruit. I thought of your dd1 the other day when I came home to dd walking about the house with half a grapefruit and a spoon. [hmm
So now I can't have it to myself now either.

Just been up to dd whimpering again. She feels hot again, but had enough medicine today I think. Settled for now anyway.

Sorry to hear dd2 has a rash now. Ds has his MMR tomorow. Dreading it. He is still abit snotty though.

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 06/10/2009 21:19

Listening to all these MMR stories I am dreading DD having hers next week as we have a manic weekend with DH's work. Hopefully she will be happy to stay home with my mum if she is poorly.

Sazzles - DD loves lemon so I should try her on grapefruit, she ate the 1/4 lemon that came with her lunch today. He other passion is tomato she will a whole punnet if left alone with them.

TS hope your day improves {{{HUGS}}}

Glamour??? what's that?

No1 - hope DD settles and you get some sleep tonight.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:19

Sorry for tmi but AF just arrived. WTF is going on with my cycle?????

5 cycles of 28 days (which is what it has always been)
then last cycle 36
This one 22
what is going on???

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:25

oops TBH i have no idea if DD2's various gripes are related to the mmr, especially as DD1 has been poorly too. Normally they say effects are 7-10 days after the jabs and we are not even there yet. Who knows?

no1 not sure what it is with the grapefruit, i suspect it is just things taste better when nicked from Mummy . I also gave some to DD2 this morning who licked it and then duly despatched it over the side of her high chair

No idea on AF - i never track mine so wouldn;t know if i was late/early long/short cycle

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:26

we have booked a holiday for next year.

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:30

OOh, where are you going?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:31

well after much searching..... a Cruise.

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 06/10/2009 21:38

Where you cruising to? Make sure they have a nice kiddies club and a spa for you!

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:39

where though????

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 06/10/2009 21:40

I am looking at christmas market trips for December - Anyone been to a nice one? We have done Hamburg and Lubeck (mmmm marzipan) Now fancy somewhere trainable and bright lights for DD. DH fancied Disneyland Paris but I think we should save it for when she is older.

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:44

Mum and dad have been to a few but not by train IIRC - i have been in Brussels on a course when there was an xmas market and that was quite good. Easily trainable by Eurostar

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:47

Med crusie, Cant remember full itinery
I know Barcelona, Florence, monte carlo, cadiz...
Dh didnt want to fly with kids as I had my eye on st Lucia. etc....
Will do that in afew year.

We going on P&O Oceana as only one that takes kids form age 2.(in kids club and creche) So we go September.
Kids clubs and night nursery sound samazing.
Didnt think I owuld ever be able to leave dcs in kids club but I am tempted.

Feel a bit scared, but spoke to lot of people who recommend.

Hopefully going to sicilly or Corsica in June but will book that near the time.

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 06/10/2009 21:48

Just looked at Brussels - looks good and not very expensive. I am about to see who flies where from Bristol too.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:48

Sicily.

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:49

Ooh, sounds lovely

I expect we will just do France next year as we had our big hols to TS Land this year and now have no money

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:50

I would like to take kids to winter wonderland at Euro Disney at xmas.
Maybe bit young though.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:51

I have been drooling over some gorgeous vIllas in France.

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:51

We went with DD1 when she was 13 months with our friends who live in Paris for New Year. It was ok but she was too young really. I reckon 5 or 6 would be good

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 06/10/2009 21:52

No1 - that is just what DH has seen an advert for and he is keen but it would be cheaper to go somewhere warm for a long weekend than hotel and train it expecially at DH has a week off in mid december when prices rise dramatically.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:53

Yes dh wants to take them to Disney World Florida (we went for honeymoon) when they are about that age.
At least they will know who all the characters are by then and maybe appreciate it a bit more.

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2009 21:54

Oh and i was 1 month pg with DD2 and went on the runaway train. Poor bean was shaken to buggery

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 06/10/2009 21:55

Ikwym oops.
We not big on Heat or sun bathing. Well like it warm but can't lay in it. (hard with dcs anyway)

Also we do get a bit bored.

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 06/10/2009 21:56

I just want to go away and don't care where. Dh has had 3 or 4 lots of 2/3 days off all year, everyone else has had 2/3 weeks off. He is exhausted and overworked so I may just book something and drag him by his ear!
