dizzydixies · 04/10/2009 21:00

StrictlySazz · 04/10/2009 21:10

I've seen it too having hauled my arse off the sofa and i know what she looks like in RL

Watching Emma now, have to really!

dizzydixies · 04/10/2009 21:16

Sazz just don't be telling them that my hair doesn't always look like that! Poor Em, hope she's feeling better really soon x

VG Shall speak to S before she heads off to Germany on Fri to find out what her cunning plan is (if any ) but am I right in saying that the boys aren't off on their Oct break till the end of the month? all very confusing!

right, shall take that all into account VG and we'll sort something

LoveBuckets · 04/10/2009 22:23

Albs Will his grobag go on backwards comfortably?

Dizzy Did you manage to make it clear to your swimming friend that taking her kid along was too stressful?

Oops Chin up my love. Thinking of you.

CC and TS Have also hit the pre-AF phase here (although when AF will actually arrive who knows after last month's 34 day cycle.) Been so on edge and tetchy all day and DH was gleefully baiting me til 6.30pm when I just lost it and he started being a bit more constructive.

Sazz & VG Kurt had his MMR on Tues and has def been spitting out food and throwing it on the floor more this week. But it might just be a fussy phase like TS mentioned...

Well I had a great night at my friend's album launch gig, even DH enjoyed the music and was lovely to see friend surrounded with all that love etc. Wasn't a v romantic night but I had a good laugh with friends of friends. Plus a 16yr old girl latched on to me in the workshop as the next youngest (and hippest haha) there and and thought I was only 25! Woohoo!!

DS1 was sick earlier which means no school for him again tomorrow. Means I'll only be able to do my planned chocolate mercy visit to SIL and new baby if I can get both boys to sleep in the car and can park right outside her house and its warm enough to leave front door open so no one phones the police.

pertelote · 04/10/2009 22:30

As usual I am popping on when I should already be asleep, but I had to send hugs and thoughts to Oops - hope everything is ok.

And thinking of you too Dizzy, glad you have some time to breathe on the horizon but take care of yourself until then. Your girls ARE gorgeous, and so are you, you know

Sazzles DD had her MMR on Friday too and has been clingy, though I was putting that down to a bit of a cold (definitely pre-dates jabs) and possibly my working an extra day last week. Heartbreaking though, to hear her scream if I leave the room.

Hullo everyone else, and a good night to all.

StrictlySazz · 04/10/2009 23:15

i'm back - cuddling dd2 this time

she will not be comforted by sleeping in our bed so have made her some milk, me some tea and we'll just sit awhile. no tv as i left my glasses downstairs

StrictlySazz · 04/10/2009 23:16

no wood in either to keep the fire going

TwilightSurfer · 04/10/2009 23:36

Would someone please remind me WHY women attempt to cohabitate with men?? I am doing my very best to be nice but HE is really upsetting me.

I remember when DD1 had her MMR. She was fine till about day 10 then broke out in spots from head to toe. On a Saturday, no less, after her doctor's office had closed so I was forced to call the hospital nurse. I'm dreading Reese's. There's no way I will do them until after my Pilates Challenge is over....40 more days. Then we've got Thanksgiving and Christmas Break so PLENTY of time to deal with bad stuff if it happens.

Sorry ya'll are having what might be MMR bad side effects. {{{hugs}}}

DH and DD1 are yelling at each other. It's like they are next to me. She's fussing about who knows what and he's trying to finish up her wash in the shower. I think he's forgotten there's TWO children that need cleaning.

Dizzy I saw your pictures too and reframed from posting a lovely comment on your picture just in case the posting was completely accidental. You look beautiful AND SO DOES YOUR KITCHEN!

VG there's plenty leftover for the next several days. I'll break the food up into a few different meals. All of which DH, I'm SURE, will come up with a reason for NOT eating.

Reese is trying to climb into my lap. I guess my times up.

StrictlySazz · 04/10/2009 23:41

ts - at least we only have 1 male to deal with!

dd2 still writhing

7-10 days is normal time for mmr reaction i hear, so lord only knows what happens next week

TwilightSurfer · 04/10/2009 23:45

Sazzles I'm sorry E is poorly. And yes it is good I suppose we only have the one male to deal with. I joke with DH that when we get older we should look at buying two houses next to each other. Mine will be the clean one.

I've been working with Reese all weekend. She's getting so good with signing.

OP posts:
StrictlySazz · 04/10/2009 23:50

E doesn't bother with signs - she can now say gogot (yoghurt), ilk (milk), ook (book) and wrap (CM gave her a cheese wrap to eat). Seems she doesn;t need to say/sign anything else

I have now been rejected and she is sat on the floor playing with muzzy - should i just go to bed?

ROFL at 'mine will be the clean one'. True, oh so true. DH did actually say earlier with a tinge of regret 'if only i was a bit tidier'

StrictlySazz · 05/10/2009 00:09

bless her, she has just farted and crashed i think

TwilightSurfer · 05/10/2009 00:11

Reese sits playing quietly and reading picture books in her bed before she goes to sleep. Maybe Emma's the same way. If so, you COULD go on to sleep. These second ones are so grown up aren't they.

Reese speaks all the good stuff too. I just want her to learn the basics so I can chat across the room to her (or in a loud cafeteria). DD1 and I do that all the time. Makes me feel very close to her.

At least Mr.Sazzles realizes he might have a flaw. DH....hasn't a clue. Honestly I really think he doesn't or can't see the mess...like it doesn't compute.

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 05/10/2009 00:12

lol sleep tight

OP posts:
StrictlySazz · 05/10/2009 00:16

he might see the flaw but makes bugger all difference to his mess making . he manages to walk from one room to another empty handed - i keep trying to educate him that this is not possible, yo must be laden down like a packhorse at all times. sadly this has not penetrated the hide. ho hum

dd2 wide awake again

TwilightSurfer · 05/10/2009 00:30

well when you figure out mrsazzle i'll ship mrtwilight over to study abroad. lol!!

why is she up? did she nap for far to long earlier??

OP posts:
StrictlySazz · 05/10/2009 00:33

i think her tummy is hurting as she keeps farting and then randomly throwing herself about as if she has griping pains . Plus teething, plus post mmr, plus coldy

TwilightSurfer · 05/10/2009 00:37

reese was a bit gassy herself today. i'm wondering if the gassiness and the spots from yesterday (which haven't totally gone yet) are from a something bigger than i realize. geez! if it's not one thing it's another with our children, isn't it.

OP posts:
StrictlySazz · 05/10/2009 00:41

now rolling round the floor in her sleeping bag singing bob the builder. time for her to go to her cot i think to amuse herself get some sleep.

Nice chatting to you ts . hope reese sleeps ok

Nighty, night
