Momino · 11/09/2009 22:53

Momino · 11/09/2009 22:55

SpangleMaker · 11/09/2009 22:56

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 11/09/2009 22:58

Now I really must go to bed.

Have a lovely sleep everyone and here's to a better day tomorrow with beautifully behaved children and DPs and DHs.

We're off to look at all manner of reptiles at 'Snake Island', I can't wait!

I've not seen super nanny for ages.. it has reminded me i should praise more and when i think i've had a bad day.. it actually was nothing in comparison to anything SN has dealt with..

flippineck · 11/09/2009 23:01

Momino - tres jealous, j'adore Elbow. But I'm liking Fleet Foxes mostly at the moment.#

spangle - I snorted wine when I read your exam post!

A has managed to roll a few times, from her back to her front. It really shocks her, she's silent for a pause and is then distraught.

Another reasonable day, I've mastered the art of bathing the girls at the same time, sn it seems to have got rid of some of the bed time tantrums from DD1, a result I think. Now i just need to get A to sleep somehow before 9pm and then I'd get a bit more evening to mumsnet spend with DH, if he were here. Bit jelaous of DH actually, he's got a day tomorrow to explore Tokyo .

Momino · 11/09/2009 23:04

friendly fires are opening. anyone know anything about them?
flippin, impressed aboutyour bathing routine.

g'night grumps and anyone else going to bed.

Belgianchocolates · 11/09/2009 23:13

Momi Here is a song by the Friendly Fires. I'm sure you know it. I bet they'll be good to. You'll have such a great time.

flippin DH in Tokyo. I can imagine you wish you were there too! Hopefully he brings you back something nice and oriental.

Night night. Everyone. I've been staying up to late MNing lately. It's time for me to go to bed a a normal time of night (she says at nearly quarter past 11)

JennsterFrogSaviour · 11/09/2009 23:36

Flippin I've just got Fleet Foxes on my iPod.

Going on holiday tomorrow. The car is loaded and the dc are very excited at the prospect of eating breakfast in the car. We're stopping for lunch with friends in Cheltenham, then pressing on to South Devon.

Goodbye for a week, and don't chat too much.

SpangleMaker · 12/09/2009 00:06

have a great holiday jennster

Right, off to bed. I was stupidly staying up as I know DH will wake me when he gets in (by the smell if nothing else - thanks for Febreeze btw Grumpy) but am too tired and laptop is about to expire. Night all

muddleddaizy · 12/09/2009 04:42

{muddled stumbles in} Morning ladies, haven't been up this early in awhile! Ds2 had a leaky nappy so woke up when I changed him. I fed him and have had to bring him downstairs whilst I wait for him to finish squealing and go back to sleep!

rolling, when ds2 puts his mind to it he rolls over on to his tummy, but I think he's so upset by it he doesn't do it very often!

Jennster you probably won't read this now, but hope you have a great holiday and give us a wave as you pass through Gloucestershire!!

Right ds2 is sounding very sleepy here so I'm off {muddled stumbles out}

Gert2a · 12/09/2009 08:39

Cats that look like hitler - fantastic - I love it, like.

Good morning all.

E just rolled over [Gert ignores the fact that she did in fact roll down hill off a pillow that she was propped up on so doesn't really count].

I'm supposed to be packing and organising for our Jolly holiday to Whitby whilst DH is at work earning some extra donkey money.

BLW I've read the BLW book and I'm all for it and looking forward to giving it a try, but I wonder if there's any research that doesn't back up what the book says? (But am too lazy to look - has anyone come across any?) We have to go down BLW route as I no longer have any desire to cook at all. Pre-pregnancy I would spend hours pouring over cookbooks and recipes and then spend hours in the kitchen creating delicious dishes. We now have lots of very easy to prepare meals that take no time and no effort and certainly very little preparation. (Last night we had pie from the Pie Factory in Dudley - anyone been? The best pies!!) So the thought of having to pre prepare and puree food for E makes we wince.

Right, the car packing is looming.

Hope everyone has, like, a great week.

Over and out.

FiByTheSea · 12/09/2009 08:43

hope you got a bit more sleep muddled

i'm whizzing around our flat as we've got an estate agent coming this am to give us a valuation.
must.. make.. place.. more.. presentable.

Gert2a · 12/09/2009 08:53

Fi exciting stuff! Remember estate agents don't tend to look in cupboards, so fill them full!

I'm just like a bus... I don't post for ages, then 12 posts come along all at once.

Right

Must

Go

And

Pack

Definitely

Over

And

Out

This

Time.

Taraa.

Like wow, like, what a lot I missed last night. Have been chuckling away to myself at the kitlers

Well its a bit weird here this morning. DH has taken A out for a walk and I have had time to put on a face pack and have a relaxing bath AND they're still not back. Not sure what to do with myself so have feet up and am MN'ing... How long before I start having irrational Mummy panics then?

Much better attempt at a top up yesterday, fed her from one boob, passed her to DH who got her to drink 2 oz of Aptamil then I gave her the other boob. Not the 5oz we've been told to give but its a start and there was no screaming involved this time. She had 2 good 3 hour stints of sleep then too. Think the fenugreek is kicking in too as feel much more 'full' today, although that could be because she has gone a bit longer between feeds in the night so I feel much less knackered today.

Hope everyone has a good day today. x x

runningmonkey · 12/09/2009 10:01
