wonder how i could see that show too????

HOLIDAY HERE
DH wants to do something fun. I'm feeling crappy preAF so would just like to curl back up in the bed for the rest of the day.

Both the girls slept nicely in their room last night. Reese had moved back in with us temporarily while sick. Life feels a little normals with both going to bed and waking at the same time (at REALISTIC hours).

Cyteen that's totally awesome that your families got along.

hello everyone.
Haven't been able to catch up on all I missed over the weekend.
happy birthday to the babes who turned one over the last few days too
Not an awful lot to report here. Terrible night last night, including a one hour strop from 1.20-2.30 so DP and I both knackered today. Cancelled driving lesson as I don't fancy having a car crash really.

Really ought to take seb out somwhere. Might walk into town to see about buying cake tins to make him a bunny cake and [eek]. Hoping it will turn out alright as I haven't baked in absolute aaaaages, so we'll see how it goes.
sorry for not replying, just haven't caught up, will try now I think.

luckoftheirish · 07/09/2009 15:16

been trying to update my cv in a vain attempt to get a job and its taking so long.. doesn't help that dd2 has a complete fancination with the computer ...

trouble is being doing the same thing for 12 years and want to try something different, part time and very close to home.. thinking i will be a sahm for a while yet!!!!

TwilightSurfer · 07/09/2009 15:21

VG our holiday is Labor Day, the holiday that signifies the END of SUMMER officially.

DH has just put DD1 in a straightjacket. She wants me to untie her. I told her I was typing.

OP posts:
LoveBuckets · 07/09/2009 16:06

Well DH's test results say BFN for me but still no sign of AF here at CD 32! Fantasy names were same from last pg for girls - Marianne (maggie) or Heidi Harriet. As ever no boys names and it turned into the 'I love lamp' scene from Anchorman (anyone knows what I mean?)

LOTI Sorry about all your recent excitement, hope it gives your DH a wake up call. My DH doesn't trust me (quite rightly) to take the pill properly and I refused to go back on Depo injections as they really affected my sex drive.

DS1's first afternoon at school went fine, couldn't tear Oh-one-zero the robot friend away from though, better luck tomorrow. DD still not admitting to enjoying Y2 but her teacher says she's fine after the initial morning tears.

I have been on a mission today. Found a rumptopf pot in only the 3rd charity shop I looked and have now half-filled it with plums, pineapple, sugar and rum. Oh it's going to be lethal! Need to look out for some pretty little bottles so I can turn it into Xmas pressies.

LoveBuckets · 07/09/2009 16:10

OMG a friend of mine tried my 7 deadly sins week challenge (remember that? sex everyday for a week?) and got up to 28 days!!!

dizzydixies · 07/09/2009 16:25

buckets I've so far managed one but its early yet

TS whilst I find it hysterical am also wondering wny you have a straightjacket?!?!?

hi Ann & Luckof

hots have you another driving lesson today?!?

VG feel free to use dinosaur at every given opportunity

Dylan had a decent nap and managed a little yogurt afterwards but threw up on herself in the car again so we'll just continue to take it easy on her today

am back at work tomorrow for 3 shifts - at least my lot are on nights so I'm not in the vipers nest but on with another shift who I get on fine with if I fall off the face of the earth again for a few days you'll know why

alittlebitshy · 07/09/2009 18:52

argh been off the thread (s) for about 3 weeks. Have i any hope of catching up?

dizzydixies · 07/09/2009 18:58

not bloody likely
nice to have you back though!!

alittlebitshy · 07/09/2009 19:01

can anyone condense the highlights of the last 3 weeks ?!

dizzydixies · 07/09/2009 19:06

can only really speak for me -
am back at work and its shit but am also now officially a company director for the company that has been set up to run the cafe

DD1 back at school, DD2 ruling the roost at playgroup and she and Dylan settling fine so far at their new CM.

DH has another essay to do within only 2wks, I'm back on shift tomorrow and shattered as Dylan was up being sick all night. DD2 has decided if she's lost she'll look for a dinosaur who will help her find her way home and DD1 has started asking where babies come from - think this is possibly because she's very excited about getting a new cousin tomorrow (my dbrother and SIL are booked in for their section for my new niece tomorrow)

we're still skint, I'm still fat and it's still raining

I think thats about it really

CaptainCaveman · 07/09/2009 20:15

albs I just came back from holiday where it was hot and sunny everyday . I'm brown instead of sickly white. O stopped bf of his own accord - just like that, he fed one night then refused to feed thereafter. My norks got sore (did you need that level of information? )

dizzy lol at dd2 and the dinosaur

WHO is going to Bath and when?

oopsacoconut · 07/09/2009 20:18

ALBS - nothing news with me, small thryoid set back, big first birthday party, walking talking DD, trying to diet and not succeeding!

oopsacoconut · 07/09/2009 20:19

CC I'm going to Bath tomorrow but I think that was not what you were asking I am hoping to meet VG and DS1 but not sure about others.

CaptainCaveman · 07/09/2009 20:21

ooh yes, O has learnt to say 'hiya', 'mam mam mam' and 'dad dad'. He has shown no inclination to walk at all but cruises all the time. And today he fell out of his cot whilst mum was looking after him! So this evening I have lowered his cot base again....

oopsacoconut · 07/09/2009 20:21

and the when, is 8-20th August for the literary festival.

CaptainCaveman · 07/09/2009 20:22

ho ho ho I guess I asked for that oops

I saw on fb that TS was meeting with Miamla - did I read that right?

CaptainCaveman · 07/09/2009 20:23

do you mean you are not sure about meeting the others - they're not that bad are they?

oopsacoconut · 07/09/2009 20:29

I think it's a skype meeting although Dizzy is meeting Miamla.
