Hello to you all :D

Just dropping by to say hello and also I have a little problem I was hoping someone might be able to help with! Brooke is going through a phase where she only wants ME, only wants me holding her and only wants me standing up to hold her!! If i walk out of the room she toddles after me holding her hands up in the air.... cute but shattering!! I have an arm like popeye and I'm sure im perminantly leaning over lol Has anyone else had this and what do I do to stop it??!! HELP!!!

Apart from that how is everyone doing and how are all the beautiful August babies :D Doesn't seem like 5 minutes since we were all here with newborns/mahoosive bumps, and now all our little ones are 12 months old!! They grow up so quick sob

TwilightSurfer · 06/09/2009 02:09

ILTS!!! HI!!! So good to see you again. Glad Brooke is well. She's being normal. Seperation anxieties can start around 1 year. It will pass. Do you have a carrier you can put her in? Holding her in your arms all the time can kill your back. I'm still using my Moby with Reese (especially when we are out in stores with flu season starting).

I hope this helps.

HELLO! Am back from my jollies, suitably tanned and exhausted rested

Hope to catch up later but I missed you all and Happy Birthdays to Toby, Poppy, Izzy, Joe, Owen, Felix and Jamie all of whom I missed whilst away

O behaved impeccably on both flights

V quickly....O stopped breastfeeding whilst we were away. Fed one night then refused it there after . No idea why as I thought it would be awful trying to get him to stop. Cue massive sore norks for 3 days whilst milk began to dry up (ouch).

So, what have I missed?

NezLiquide · 06/09/2009 14:37

A busy weekend of birthday parties for us. 2 on Saturday - one in the morning with champagne, bacon & egg sarnies and cupcakes - lovely. The second one was at a huge house with its own pool and tennis courts - how the other half live! Was lovely too though.

Today was quite tough as DS not been in the best of moods and DH and I were both quite tired (he's just started new job and work busy for me too) so we ended up bickering a bit. Anyway DS seems to have one bottom tooth and one molar coming so maybe that explains it.

CC was going to ask how the stopping was going but seems to have sorted itself out! We're off to Perth on Saturday so once we get back from hols will see what happens.

LWFH no.2 for us is going to eat everything in sight and sleep 12 hours a night from birth of course

Sazz, your wkend sounds wonderful, am glad it all went so well

VG I too chase my tail, a lot but having tanked a bottle of wine (a la Hotter) last night DH allowed me to have a lie in this morning (till 9am!!) the rain has finally stopped thank goodness but I don't hold out mush hope for it staying off!!

Mr Poppy was having the same procedure I had 2yrs ago (minus the fall/concussion) where they do both eyes at once, it takes only 45secs each eye and you're able to see straight away although foggy - return to full vision the next morning - tis FABULOUS! best ridiclious amount of money I ever spent and was pain free - they put anethestic drops in your eye so you're not knocked out at all - well unless you manage to lamp your head off the floor like Mr Poppy did

Nez - very of your champers brekker! can we have that next time you're on breakfast duty please?

oops I watched flog-it tonight, was your DH on it?!?

No1 - have you managed to survive your very busy kiddie session?

CC lovely to have you home

DD1 had a lovely day with the Rainbows yesterday, DH and I watched a movie and I we had some wine before bed. I had a lie in this morning, then we took the girls to gymnastics and then onto lunch before the food and flower festival which was great. I managed to get some lovely local suppliers for the cafe too

early night tonight though as am completely pooped and it all starts again tomorrow!!

Dizzy glad it's stopped raining at last

dizzydixies · 06/09/2009 21:07

'Tis quite a tempting idea, I was fat at my actual wedding and would like to look a fox in a posh frock Maybe when we are 10, by then I will know if he's a keeper

Better go and spend some time with him then...
