Dog that you feel down. I get like this sometimes and tend to snipe at DH and take stuff out on him for no reason. Do you have someone you could phone for a good old natter and set the world to rights? agree that anti-ds not right for you if you feel you can cope and it is just random.

Hey Stripey, sorry about C, glad she is well settled tonight.

So the DC's both loved nursery! DD was in her element and both coated in veg pasta bake and stinking of garlic when I picked them up so clearly both enjoyed the grub. DS had a bit of a bump so already had to fill in accident form but it was nothing considering he gets about 10 of those a day at home as he has not quite realised he can't walk quite yet but cruising one-handed looks such fun!.

He refused morning sleep but was flat out when I got there and woke up happy. Needed another nap this afternoon as I don't think he had long enough as I had to wake him to take him home! Had friend round this afternoon and went to park so both DC's knackered and in bed v.early and I amshortly to follow I think!

Gave DH at least an hour to mention my hair this evenong and he did not until prompted .

PatTheHammer · 25/08/2009 21:15

Wtf is an evenong???

hackneyzoo · 25/08/2009 21:16

Dog Agree with what th eothers have said and also you have a lot on your plate at the moment, the stress of finding a house and three young children so feeling a bit down might just be due to knackeredness and not necessarily PND. Might be worth going to chat with your GP to put your mind at rest. Tis not a selfish post at all. >

Stripey Glad C is more settled today. Ots exhausting when they won't settle and even more difficult when you can't figure out what's wrong.

Furry Saw a mum at the playground today with purple hair, she looked fab, was it you? Hope you have a better night tonight.

Hooray for the nappy fairy Tree!

Had a chilled out day at city farm and playground soaking up the last of the summer rain sun.
Afraid I don't get the whole Uggs thing, tried my sisters and found them impossible to walk in, I do have giant feet though! Am not a crocs fan either, I kept on seeing whole families wearing crocs when I was on holiday and found the idea of co-ordinated family footwear a bit....scary Managed to subconsciously dress DD, DS and myself in stripey t-shirts for the ferry journey back from jersey, we looked little odd scary quirky (DH walked 10 steps behind us, not wearing a stripey t-shirt )

PatTheHammer · 25/08/2009 21:23

HZ-LOL at yoour stripey uniform family. Lenni will approve! I don't get crocs either and find adults in them look a bu=it strange. Kids are acceptable as they make good beach shoes. Uggs.......well I am not rich enough to own any but all the girls at school wear the fake ones with their skinny trousers tucked in, its so funny. your day sounds nice. How big are your giant feet?

Yay for nappy fairys too! I need a furniture fairy around here

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 21:24

pat thats great about nursery, LOL at garlic children! park sounds good. at unobservant DH.

Wasn't me hz, wish it was but I certainly do not look fab today! Am the great unwashed as cant shower and wash hair if am gonna be dying it as conditioner prevents dye taking. Am with you on crocs and co-ordinated families

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 21:27

I need a newt fairy. Have had a bucket of water looking at me for all evening that I filled to clean out the newts. It hasn't got done. poor newty pies!

not that I make newt pie,

that would be gross

and very small!

hackneyzoo · 25/08/2009 21:30

Pat Glad nursery is going well and you are having a nice evenong. DD did a few taster days at the start of august and she starts properly next week, she seems to love it so far though. My feet are size 8/9...and I am only 5'6''...freak of nature. DH once told me my hair looked great, unfortunately for him I had cancelled my hair appoinment that day and not done anything wiht it since he saw me earlier that day.

I have been attacked by hackney mosquitoes...what's that all about? This is England, it's cold.

hackneyzoo · 25/08/2009 21:32

Furry I love newts,(not to eat, just to look at) are they your pets? Have you named them?

hz they are Alpine newts and my friend breed them, he has loads of different kinds. They are called Dave, Meany and Big head.

LOL at freaky feet! DD has freaky monkey feet with grasping toes, like DH not me I hasten to add! My friends mums party trick when she was at college was making a cup of tea with a tea pot and slice of cake with her feet!

Dog have you got any of the 3/6/9 omega oils? may be worth a try if it is menstrual. I have felt truly, truly awful before both of my last two. Hope you can get to the bottom of it.

HZ have you tried some of those citronella candles in the garden?

anyone else got truly stinky weaning poos going on? I'm sure DD wasn't this bad. A boy thing perhaps?

We started nappy training today (DD refused nappies). OMG nothing quite like dealing with a freshly laid one in the tiny, tiny pants. very, very horrid. and poor mama that I am was very . Sick that is, not envious. How long will it take?!

6 inches! WOW! I bet they were spanish ones. were they fully aquatic? Mine aren't, they spend most of their time in a purple tree. (I do like my purple!) They go in the water to eat.

120cm nope, not just boys, DD has some epic poos. Proper stinkers. Am not envious of nappy training.

Yeah, moosey where are you? hope all is well in Mooseland.

NPD EPPM come out, come out wherever you are!

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 21:56

oooo, pretty pat. I love their little faces!

120cms · 25/08/2009 21:58

the newt stuff is all very monty python! I love the way on that link even the title bar has a little newt on it.

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 22:01

My newts look like this

hackneyzoo · 25/08/2009 22:05

Furry My brother refers to my toes as 'probe toes', sadly they are like fingers. Glad to say the DCs have short stubby normal toes...phew.

Dog Well thats quite a period backlog you have there. Hope you feel better in the morning. Will stick those bras in the pst for you tomorrow.

Just cried at the end of Ugly Betty, am an emotional wreck. It wasn't even sad, just sweet. Need to get out more. Night all.

hackneyzoo · 25/08/2009 22:09

Ohhh, I love those newts, they look so spaced out and other worldly. Right I am going to set newt traps in the garden and catch me some newts of my own. They like purple trees you say?

120 Tried citronella oil and candles, the little buggers loved it though.

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 22:17

hz hee hee! I wish you lived near me as am having to re-home my newts I havn't got anywhere suitable for them to go in the house we are now in.

dog at period situation, no wonder hormones are going potty. I used to say to my house mate that I would squeeze her like a tube of toothpaste to help it on its way. I will happily do the same for you. Its a free service!

120cms · 25/08/2009 22:25

furry, do your newts literally look like that one? it looks a tad... erm.. surprised!

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 22:29

LOL! they do a bit. I think they look like they are on some kind of, ehem, illigal substance.

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 22:42

well, once again I was intending on being in bed by 10pm and am not. I shall rectify situation now.

Goodnight ladies.
