I'm really hoping that they stop doing the column. I'm sorry you are feeling invaded, its awful. We will always be here to support you, even if you have to be a bit vague to preserve a sense of privacy.

I don't like the way these DM articles are being done, but think the postnatal threads are less likely to be raided for articles - much easier to make one out of the threads where people have a discussion on one topic as it were. I still think it's quite a weird thing to do.

rrrayray · 22/08/2009 11:14

Ok i have obviously missed something massive.

So DM- must be daily mail......... is mumsnet stuff being printed in there?!

Oh..... maybe name change here too then! xx

newspaperdelivery · 22/08/2009 14:55

Hi all

Supposed to be in town putting together outfir. But I need a shower and am too tired. H up till 3am chuntering and feeling ill bless her. I slept till 11am though, but still feel wiped out.

Much snot here today so hopefully she will start feeling better now she is streaming. Yum!
Bigg d and nanna off to beach in the truck - she is perched on a pillow with various drinks and buckets and spades on boards.

Ray - I don't remember any revealing posts from you. If you had though I would def name change, what with dh job and all. Hoe all ok there and you're feeling a bit better about it all.

On slings - have the new Kosy and it is fab fab fab . She feels no weight at all and I could wear it for a few hours at least Its very easy to put on too. I like!

fourlittlefeet · 22/08/2009 16:23

poor H, chuntering not nice.

DS is sleeping and have sent DD out with DP so that I can work on the website. Am now feeling slightly mad having been staring at the screen for four hours. Its like being back at work! Maybe I should stop complaining about looking after the babies.

please post a link to the Kosy, my hug-a-bub has pretty much had it as I leant it out to someone who used it loads and now DS is the fourth baby it is being used for!

fourlittlefeet · 22/08/2009 16:25

please help me make up my mind for some new combos in my sets. Am looking at all the fabrics this lady does and I like nearly all of them and can only choose about 4 different ones: link here

spottywotwot · 22/08/2009 16:28

i llike stars, spots and flowers hope this helps

fourlittlefeet · 22/08/2009 17:00

lol. thank you! which colours on the back?

PatTheHammer · 22/08/2009 17:10

Oh bloody hell, I'm confused with who everyone is now??!! Do you think we can all return to names after a few weeks? I am useless at all this incognito stuff!

Just been at a lovely 3rd birthday party this afternoon. DH took DD too library and supermarket this morning as I was not functioning well. DS woke up twice last night and the night before after sleeping through for a few weeks......what the hell!!!!!!!! he is clearly teething as dribbling loads and sticking his tongue out all the time. And grinding his teeth, which makes me .

News-i do NOT know how you are functioning after H up till 3am

Speaking of supermums there was a woman at the party today with 4wk old twin girls and also a 3yr old DS . Made me so glad That DS was only a singleton as she was describing the madness that is her day. They are fed every 2hrs round the clock (she is bfing them) and not always at the same time. She was also slimmer than me despite giving birth to twins 4 weeks ago. I would think nasty thoughts here but she was a lovely girl so I won't

PatTheHammer · 22/08/2009 17:11

Oh, FLF I like the animal prints and red and white spots are so cute!

fourlittlefeet · 22/08/2009 17:45

ooh, thanks pat, great minds...have ordered the spots to look at as the animal prints are out of stock at the mo!

elkiedee · 22/08/2009 18:30

Ray, and anyone else who hasn't read the threads, bizarrely for the last 3 weeks on Thursdays a journalist has "written" a column entitled "Today on Mumsnet" - lifting a lot of the words straight out. In some cases she's mixed up usernames, in others she's changed them and used them in part.

Last week was particularly alarming, as the conversation lifted from MN was an employment problem. I think this week's conversation about packed lunches was relatively harmless and that people aren't actually that identifiable by anyone who doesn't already hang out on MN.

I'm quite upset that so many people including AN/PN friends are now worrying about posting etc. I think these threads aren't so vulnerable because they don't lend themselves to lifting a whole story as some of the problem/topical issue threads do. Name changes might help.

(several hours go by)

Written at midday but didn't post before I went out.

newspaperdelivery · 22/08/2009 19:15

What is the fabric for four?

My sling was from a mumsnetter, but it's one of these you can get them in UK. I have only worn it front ways, am yet to have a good play. And H is yet to be in the mood!

fourlittlefeet · 22/08/2009 19:41

thanks news off to check it out. fabric is for doing some of the gift sets on my new eshop but my head was spinning as I like so many of them, but can only do about 5 combos, so I wanted some suggestions to save my brain cells!

rrrayray · 22/08/2009 20:22

Elkidee thanks for filling in the gaps for me! Think might go ahead and change name just to be sure.......

Soccerette · 22/08/2009 20:31

Right, i think i have a new name, and i think people should know who i am!

This is going to be confusing for a whilE!
