Oh, and Q has been properly crawling around on all fours for about a week and a half now. He's getting faster and even has a way to cope with slippery floors (putting his foot to the floor after a move with the opposite knee) and can do it quite efficiently. So cute how they learn all of this without being taught.
Thank goodness he's not backward crawling anymore - that was getting frustrating for him!

star6 · 15/06/2009 12:17

wow jenwa - that was a big rant! Good for you! I hope it feels good to get that all out

jenwa · 15/06/2009 12:41

Bloody hell that was long whoops! Sorry had to get it out my system!!! will edit next time, or maybe not ever rant again if I can give it a go!!!

star yeh for crawling

star6 · 15/06/2009 13:07

anyone know how to upload a video from blackberry onto facebook? by any chance?
There's the cutest video of DH crawling in front of Q and Q chasing after him crawling - it's too funny!

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/06/2009 13:16

Can you send the video via bluetooth to your PC, and then upload from there?

OP posts:
star6 · 15/06/2009 13:35

how do I do that?

Marthasmama · 15/06/2009 13:38

I know CSWS. It's rainy enough here without you raining on my parade too. It would be used for me and the dc so DS would be ok in the front if the airbag is disabled. He would be 8 by the time a third DC arrived, if it does. I saw a woman at Tesco stuff 3 children and one other adult into a Fiesta. She even had room to spark up a fag!

Jenwa - I'm going to have read your essay post in a minute.

Star - I knew he'd be on the move soon! How's he sleeping at the moment?

Marthasmama · 15/06/2009 13:40

Argh I'm so forgetful! I meant to say two things....

  1. Star and Jenwa, you have had some sort of negative positive effect on me! I've been cleaning the rugs and vacuuming all day! Poor M has been shouting at me to play!

  2. M has started to 'share' her food. She'll take a bite of something then put it up to my mouth and I have to pretend to eat some, then she'll carry on eating more. She thinks it hilarious!

jenwa · 15/06/2009 15:42

star we have a cable that you can connect to computer to do that although still waiting for DH to bring it home from work but you can also Bluetooth but have to turn you bluetooth on your phone and then have the software on the computer.

mm I am glad we are having that positifve effect on you there will be no going back, unless of course you are nesting and forgetting to tell us something???!!!

Marthasmama · 15/06/2009 15:59

No chance Jenwa. If I was pg, I would have to take to wearing a blue headscarf and find myself a donkey to travel about on!

Now, tell me if I am being unreasonable but.... I have just been looking at some photos that my friend's sister posted on FB of their holiday to Ibiza. I was looking because my friend has a ds the same age as M. Lots of ordinary photos of the family mucking about in the beach etc. Lots of pictures of mate's nephews.... including one of her 5 year old nephew lying stretched out on a sun lounger, arms stretched up with just a t-shirt on! You could see all his little boy's bits! Now, is that not a bit sick? The photos are clearly public as I don't know the sister and I'm not friends with her on FB. If it had been a picture of a baby or toddler, but this is a boy who is at school!

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/06/2009 20:24

They might be available to friends of friends rather than public MM, but post a comment if you're concerned that they might not be.

Don't know re bluetooth star - I was just guessing. That's how I get photos from my phone to my mac, and think I can do video the same way.

As long as you have bluetooth visible from your pc, select the video on the blackberry, and select 'send', and then 'via bluetooth' and it should search for devices to send to. You'll prob need to accept it on your pc too, so look out for messages appearing on the screen.

How do you get your pics off your phone normally star? I know that you have a 'phone pics' album on fb, and assumed that you did something like this for that.

I think I'll tell my friend as her sister is a very scary woman and might take offence. The family are from the travelling fraternity....

Oooo got distracted by Stacy's dramatic return to EE!

Um.... forgot what I was going to say....

Ah yes! Glad you don't have to go back to work CSWS. You'll find something that works for you and your babies.

loulou33 · 15/06/2009 20:44

Hiya,

First day back at work today and i went really quickly and was really busy - loads of stuff to do and over 1000 emails in my inbox even after clearing out the rubbish ones i think i should have checked them more regularly.....should keep me busy til xmas.

DS1 a bit better but now has cough and throat virus so doc says to keep him off nursery til thurs. Dh took him to docs this am and another child was there from his old nursery. DS1 came out of wendy house in the waiting room and this child's mother said in a very loud voice 'bloody hell, look at him, he's covered in spots, [child's name] come here NOW' DS1 was REALLY uspet and ran to have a cuddle with his dad but DS1 told me all of this word for word when i got back form work so it must have really hit home as it were. DH did not challenge her about it - i would have done though and will do if i see her in town. All the spots were obviously scabbed over but even if she thought he had the plague she could have been a bit more considerate...

hmm - glad Poppy is being less sick and enjoying her dairy.... i qute fancy cheese on toast now you've mentioned it!!

Star - i have no idea what you are talking about - it's like a foreign language to me!!

jenwa · 15/06/2009 20:49

loulou how horrible, stupid cow! Thats awful to say, your poor DS, lets hope for her sake her DS gets it well maybe thats harsh, maybe let her get it and be scaby!!!!

MM yes agree very strange re pics, I would not put any of my DC naked even to just friends. Seems a bit odd I restrict alot on there to be honest and do allow you lot to see some as I actaully feel safe that we all have children and are ok and that we chat about them all the time too.

jenwa · 15/06/2009 20:50

loulou sorry, forgot to say that Im glad your first day went well. Mine is in afew weeks [ahhhhh]

star6 · 15/06/2009 21:10

congrats on first day back loulou.
can't find bluetooth cord
will try another way....

Honeymoonmummy · 15/06/2009 21:26

Hi all, just a quick one as Poppy's just gone off to sleep and I haven't had any tea yet [hungry emoticon] I'm looking for christening invitations online, does anyone know any good sites? I've had another bad day for the PND today, but having spent most of the afternoon in bed asleep, [HMM has a great hubbie] I feel much better now. I'm off downstairs to eat some humble pie tea.

Oh and MM - what the hell do you think you're doing? Housework??? Noooooooooo!

Honeymoonmummy · 15/06/2009 21:27

Oh and noones answered my new thread yet so I've bumped it

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/06/2009 21:28

There isn't a cord for bluetooth - it's wireless technology!

Glad first day back flew by loulou.

We got dd's done by vista print hmm - loads of choices on there.

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 15/06/2009 21:29

Hmm - Sorry you're feeling bad today. Could it be PMT on top of PND? You have a hubbies who is great sometimes and you obviously needed the sleep so don't you dare feel bad about it! I'm on the case re: the invites.....

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/06/2009 21:34

Here you go hmm. This is the design that we used.
