Star - Great to hear that Q's not going to be eating purees when he's at university!
Well done Q!!

jenwa · 07/06/2009 21:03

Myjob - Oi woman! Stop it! Starving yourself is a sure fire way of putting weight on in the long run and you know that. You might even need to eat more but more fruit and veggies. I know it is hard and so depressing but you need to have energy to keep up with your babies. How much do you get out and about? You do seem to go out a fair bit but how much walking do you do in a day? If you're honestly doing all the things you should to lose the weight then go to the gp to talk about it. You could be right, there could be something wrong, pregnancy can affect your body in some many different ways.

I am watching The Apprentice so back later....

Oh, Aubergenie - Great news about your friend. She must be so much more positive and that is going to really help her recovery!

Myjob - I know it's hard, but try and wait until you've stopped breastfeeding. I didn't start losing weight when I had ds until after I had stopped breastfeeding. I know you're not feeding N much any more, but if you can be patient....... Anyway, you've seen a recent picture of me, you have nothing to worry about!

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/06/2009 21:48

Also watching the Apprentice, so just a quickie.

Welcome back hedgepig .

Nice day at inlaws. Stayed and bathed the kids there and brought them home and straight to bed.

Been watching The Apprentice on delay. Suralan is mad! Kate was by far and away the better candidate! He is a strange old man.....

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/06/2009 22:19

He's never chosen who I thought was the right candidate MM, so I wasn't at all surprised. Are you watching the extra stuff now? Had forgotten how utterly shite Kate was in the catering task!

ajm200 · 07/06/2009 22:20

Hi Everyone. Myjob - Sorry you are feeling bad about your weight.

If you have regained weight that fast and you are eating properly, maybe some of it is water weight.. water retention from hormones plus you may have been a bit dehydrated before.. some may disappear again in a few days..

If it makes you feel better, I was two sizes and over a stone smaller two days after having Amelia than I am now.. so I know what you are going through. My meals are healthy but my portion sizes are too big. I get so hungry after BFing Amelia. that can snack on rubbish too.

ajm200 · 07/06/2009 22:20

would read and respond to more but I'm getting kicked off the PC again... ttfn

Marthasmama · 07/06/2009 22:24

CSWS - Do we know what has happened to previous winners? I am sure there has been a programme about it but I never watched it. They were all dreadful in the catering task! Some of the lunches served up were just offensive.

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/06/2009 22:32

I haven't seen anything on previous winners mm. Unless I've forgotten . I'd like to know what happened to some of the previous non-winners too.

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 07/06/2009 22:40

Here is a bit of information about the winners. Ha ha ha re: Lee!

Sorry I am being very rude to the rest of you ladies.......

aubergenie · 07/06/2009 22:44

Katie Hopkins was running as an independent Euro MP last week, I think. Nor sure what happened to any of the others.

(And that Tim guy who won the first one went to school just round the corner from my house.)

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/06/2009 22:44

S'ok mm - the rest of 'em have gone to bed .

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 07/06/2009 22:46

Oh yes Aubergenie, of course she was, I read the threads on here. She sounds like a 'delightful' woman!

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/06/2009 22:50

I want to know what happened to the Badger!

OP posts:
aubergenie · 07/06/2009 22:51

Oh I'll have to have a look at the thread. I hadn't even realised until I heard her being interviewed on the radio the this morning. She was a horror, wasn't she!

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/06/2009 22:51

And now I know!

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 07/06/2009 22:51

She did some telly and definitely had a column in a paper somewhere. The Badger. She was great wasn't she?!

aubergenie · 07/06/2009 22:52

Didn't the Badger end up presenting some business tv programme? I MUST go to bed now, but I'm going to look in the morning.

Wishing you all good sleep ladies.

Marthasmama · 07/06/2009 22:55
  • Xpost!

Aubergenie - If you fancy working up some hate have a look at this. It's unbelievable!

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/06/2009 22:55

I should have been in bed long ago. Ah well, expect ds will wake for a feed 10mins after I fall asleep again .
Will go up as soon as apprentice thing finishes.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/06/2009 05:03
