Denny, what on earth is a Naked Cleaner??? I'm giggling at the thought!

KnitterInTheNW · 12/08/2009 23:11

Eeeewwwwww, I'd be wanting to clean again after a random naked man had been in my house!

Hi everyone, I'm at my mum & dad's at the mo, their puter is utter rubbish and I can rarely get it to do much other than switch on. I'm dragging dad to dixons tomorrow to get a new one, so they can talk to G on Skype.

Enjoy your shopping trip, Knitter!

How long are you at your parents for? I miss being able to pop over sometimes. At least just another 2 months for me, then I'll see them all again for a bit. Counting down already!

LadyBee · 13/08/2009 00:03

Sal! I knew it! I was wondering about it last night and thought to myself, I bet she's packing in work..and you are! Are you going to look for something else with fewer hours or leave it completely?

Knitter, nice to see you again too, I was wondering if you'd been swallowed by a school holidays black hole or something.

Ugh, attempted to go shopping today but found nothing I liked that suited me. I've put on weight again, got to stop eating 'treats' - god knows I don't need them.

Scorpio, I just wondered whether you'd got anything lined up for counselling etc? Not sure how long that would take.

Scorps · 13/08/2009 13:14

DH has to seek the appointment himself so i know he will. He needs to see GP, as here you can get 10 NHS sessions, then if you need more; a referral to private (he can pay from his own pocket iyswim for that). He is now wearing his wedding ring, and is telling me everytime his phone goes, asking 'permission' for xbox time, etc. No mention of going out, and the answer will be fuck off no anyway. I am also thinking of no Thai trip next year. Ha. i might spend the £2k money it costs on a bigger family holiday. Family first, DH, you know that woman in your house and those small people? Well they are your family, knob cheese.

I'm so fucking mad, i really am, but have to stop the way i am behaving, for my and dd2s sake. brave face mask it shall be, then. And i have decided to no longer 'adore' him, he aint worthy.

I am going to new salon on saturday with that beautiful gay man, who is doing over my hair and nails. all on my DH. . I will take his phone with me. again.

I am sorry for my language. at least i havent said C* which actually i did call him but he is, so there.

I feel let down though, by my parents, my dad rung DH when i kicked him out and said that they didnt hate him. I want my dad (he is big man) to tell him off. DH loves my Dad you see, he may care. Though he is very sorry himself....i have had flowers, etc, all of which i want to stick up his bum. And i havent had sex for 2 weeks FFS

Scorps · 13/08/2009 13:14

oh and i had screening today, results next week. I have always been clear, so we shall see.

Scorps · 13/08/2009 13:16

Sal i know about your owrk thing anyway, im so happy for you wished i lived nearer, i would annoy come and see you lots

LadyBee - pooh to weight, there are lots of things in shops at mo but i bet you werent just in the mood

Scorps · 13/08/2009 13:17

Denny - give me his number i would like to annoy DH

SalLikesCoffee · 13/08/2009 14:28

Ladybee, no, I'm giving it all up completely. I'm going to take up further studies again, and spend proper time with Roelof, doing things together, not just weekends. I have considered doing part-time, but with what I do I really need to be here full-time, and I would rather further my quals than go into a more junior role whilst I have the chance. With the economy as it is, I might not get that chance again.

Sooo, if any ladies in London are available for meetups from November, I'm game! :D Scorpio, I think you should do a London trip!

Don't worry about being cross - it's your right and you really should be - it can't just be right again immediately. There's this thread that I read yesterday that I hoped you've seen, but if not, I'll put a link here in a second. Not just applying to you, so if anyone else wants to read, I thought it's quite lovely.

SalLikesCoffee · 13/08/2009 14:30

here it is.

Scorps · 13/08/2009 15:54

oh i saw that, good isn't it

Dunno if i can get past this, you know.

SalLikesCoffee · 13/08/2009 18:26

Yes, I know. I doubt I could have.

Re your dad - maybe he thought he'd be nice so that he could try and sort his head out instead of running off to the ow if you throw him out? I'm sure he would have only done what he thought would help you.

Scorps · 13/08/2009 18:33

Even though my parents have never cheated; i think my Dad almost excuses his behaviour because he is a 'young' man, with much responsibility iyswim. I suppose, really, that my Dad behaved adulty, family-ish.

DH doesn't have much to do wwith his parents you see, mine are his surrogates almost.

He is going gym tonight, with a woman we know, but no issues there at all. I will have a return time, and proof he has been (receipt).

SalLikesCoffee · 13/08/2009 20:18

Good luck, sweety. xxx

Denny185 · 13/08/2009 23:00

He is a young man with responsibilities he should act that way not like a bloody dog on heat! Sorry Im quite angry for you probably shouldnt say that but im quite angry for you.

R u looking forward to being a student again Sal?

Cant remember who asked what the naked cleaner is - literally a bloke butt naked to come do your cleaning - he did have a fit body but blonde and not my cup of tea and I dont know of many men who can actually see past the end of their noses to clean properly

Denny185 · 13/08/2009 23:04

Really should read before posting then it might actually make sense and I wont repeat myself in a sentence!

SalLikesCoffee · 13/08/2009 23:13

Denny, I kind of do and don't. I'm not going to go to college, will just study from home. Might even do it in the evening, but at least not after coming home at 8 most evenings shattered before I even start! So whilst I never really look forward to exams (I'm lazy), I'd quite like to get studying again (saddo).

I'm with Denny on the responsibility thing - so what, are you supposed to go out getting drunk and snogging the neighbourhood postie just because you're young with a lot of responsibilities? No, you walk tall, chin up, and be a great wife and mother, stressed and tired or not. Annoys me that there's different rules for men. And anyway, he's not 15 years old, for heaven's sake. Maybe your dad knew you'd want to give him another chance (remember, our parents know us really really well), and didn't want to alienate him for that reason.

Ooh Denny, and naked cleaner... Ewwww. Ewwwww.

SalLikesCoffee · 14/08/2009 21:15

I am the ultimate thread killer. Where IS everyone??

LadyBee · 14/08/2009 23:10

See, there are things that just shouldn't be done naked.

Well, Sal, I think that's an excellent decision. It'll be a good way to get back some work/life balance and if it increases your qualifications too, all the better.

Soooo.....about this other baby idea then, huh? huh?

I have just worked out that I have approximately 8 weeks before the wedding..and that also means 8 weeks before I stop contraception again. Boy, writing that sentence sure stirred up some mixed emotions [hmmm]

SalLikesCoffee · 15/08/2009 08:51

Thanks, Ladybee. I'm looking forward to it, but realise that it'll take a little adjusting to again.

Baby, yes. Part of me just wants R for myself again now that I'd actually have some time with him, but on the other hand, it's not as if new baby is going to pop out after one week, is it? Not an active try just yet, but also very lax on taking care, if that makes sense. I'm not on the pill at all anymore.

The one thing, and obviously not something that'll stop us from trying, but that would be a little sad for her perhaps, so I'll feel a little bad, is that my best friend has been actively trying for a baby for 9 months now, without any luck. I can see she's really down about it, so I'll feel a little guilty if I get pregnant easily again (last time really quickly.

On nicer things - oh wow, 8 weeks!!! Are you excited? When are you leaving for NZ?

ThisIsSal · 15/08/2009 10:30

Hey. Just testing out my new name. x

MrgodthisisSal · 15/08/2009 10:40

Nah, don't like that one. This is in dedication to one of my favourite books:
Mr God this is Anna (by Fynn) here on Amazon. Highly recommended, if you haven't read it.

MrgodthisisSal · 15/08/2009 10:41

Mister God, This is Anna.

MistergodthisisSal · 15/08/2009 10:42

Final. I'm obsessed, will go away now!

SuzeMcG · 15/08/2009 14:10

I read that book years ago, Sal, and loved it, must read it again. Congrats on your retirement! What are you going to study? Good idea, I feel I should do something.

Hope you are ok, Scorps.

E finished at nursery on Thursday. The staff made her a going away card, so sweet. I took some of their numbers for babysitting, E likes them all.

We have Sitters booked and we are going out tonight, woohoo!
