you'd think after 33 threads we'd have all the answers by now.

Hi Sazzles! Did you spot the contradiction in your earlier post? (Open bottle of calpol -- got no paracetamol) I would in desperation, wouldn't you?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/04/2009 21:24

HI MIAMLA I am here, both dcs just in bed.
I have not been in long as have been to open evening for dd at pre school.
Love the school my dbrother went to it, he is 18 in August (my goodness where did that go)
DD loved it, in fact she must have done as when head teacher was showing me round school she just looked and said 'bye' and stayed with her assigned Key worker.
bless
They have offered me 5 mornings, but I think I will miss her so am going for 2/3 to start with and if she really drivesmemad settles well will have more.
Only thing is Its a lot to pay out when I am not going to work so hard to justify full time.
Miamla I am still thinking of fabrics, cant decide I like black and red!!!!!!!! if that is any help.(not very summery though)

sazzles rofl at offer of calpol and being pink
albs that top is great btw glad you both had good day, shame you couldnt fit in the cake though.

I'm here too

Just feeding DH and getting ready to have a big fluffy bath if I can be bothered it might have to be a quick shower in the morning.

good day here, shopping this am for holiday things, it is apparently 26 degrees in NY so DD needed a few cooler things. Then to baby cafe where we met some new Mums and babies and I got to do my first bit of BF counselling it was a bit strange but mum and baby left feeling happier with the situation.

ALBS - great top.

cyteen · 22/04/2009 21:26

Been cooking a mammoth curry (that is, a large curry, not one made of mammoths) and now slumped in front of The Apprentice. Joe has been in very odd mood all afternoon, think he was overtired - DP put him to bed after I fed him and said he went out like a light.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/04/2009 21:28

ooh many Xpost again... Hi pertelote
Yes drink the calpol it may ease it a bit.

buckets glad you enjoyed the film
sambo yes you do appreciate them more i think. glad you had a good day.

I am crossing my fingers for another sleep through tonight that will make it 4 in a row despite the brief wake up last night.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/04/2009 21:30

sazzles I have days when I think yes go full time, but then I have days where I feel awww I know I am going to cry [soppy mummy emoticon]

I think it will be great for her and great for me to have some 1 to 1 with Marcus.
Feel so bad that I havnt had the opportunity to do things with him that i did with dd for eg the swimming sessions.
Have only tooke him twice and she has only been once since I was pregnant.
Me and dh had a chat about it and I am going to try to allocate 2 days when his shift allows to take them both on different days. I need to really persuade him to just come with us. He just wont though.

I dont know why he won't come tbh. I have asked him, think he is a bit self.c but he has an amazing body imo healthy and fit does gym, plays squash etc...so has nothing to worry about.
He took dd in pool on holiday last year so not sure why he wont come.
My dniece and dnephew share a birthday and my dsil has booked 2 pools for swimming party and He wont come in, so I cant go in now as obviously cant take 2.
Just hoping my dad and stepmum will come in and help so we dont miss out.
sorry im waffling now...

pertelote · 22/04/2009 21:44

I do Sazzles, I am out of practice on action songs and painting! Hope the calpol helped with the nose...

Congrats on your earlier announcement No1

Oops it took me an embarassing length of time to recognise you in your white and red disguise! Well done on the counselling. Hope you have good news soon re your dad.

Miamla I envy you feeling better after only 15 mins nap! Always makes me feel worse somehow.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/04/2009 21:49

My lovely dh has asked if I will take dcs out on friday morning so he can do the full house clean
How bad am I
We are also having new windows and front doors and fascias(sp?) friday at 8.30am
Had all back done when we had conservatory done in August. We had decided to leave front as it didnt need doing and is inkeeping with neighbours, but it has obvioulsy got to dh and is bugging him.
He justifies it by saying everything in the house has been done then, so he can start saving for my new car, and a holiday home somewhere

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/04/2009 21:50

I am quite happy to keep my car till it dies but he insists on getting rid when we have had them 3 years
So I said if I am going to get a 7 seater does that mean I can fill all the remaining seats

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/04/2009 21:51

he said no

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/04/2009 21:51

can you all tell I have had noone to talk to all day
