Just one finger? How do you do that? Are you double-jointed?

ronshar · 23/04/2009 22:18

yep noticed that just as I pressed the button. Stupid lap top.
I am busy watching ER at the same time.

ronshar · 23/04/2009 22:20

oooo Carter is back

Honeymoonmummy · 23/04/2009 22:21

Is that George? I never watched ER. Right, am REALLY off to bed now. Night night all, hope you all get a good nights sleep x

ronshar · 23/04/2009 22:23

No John.

pepperrabbit · 23/04/2009 22:26

welcome Rachie
I ff as well (and reminds CSWS that DD is really quite pants at sleeping ) I'm yearning for a whole night in bed. Just the thought of lying down all night would be heaven. DD doesn't need feeding she just can't settle herself and can wake 2/3 times a night which is very tedious.
I've been using Huggies, but have opened a pack of Pampers today and they're not as good. She had soggy trousers! We have a couple of doidy cups which I bought for DS1 (as a PFB!) neither boy got the hang of them - hopefully girls are cleverer and DD will make the investment worthwhile .
hmm - glad the swimming went well
ronshar - at sleep!
CSWS - hope you feel a bit more human today and DH has pulled his weight a bit.
computer still playing up going to post this and then read some more

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/04/2009 22:27

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/04/2009 22:30

Well I was still here, but since I clearly don't count I shall huff off to bed too.

[HMM peeks through the stair bannisters]

ronshar · 23/04/2009 22:32

It made me cry loads when he lost his baby. Thandie Newton is a great actress.

Pepper I bought a tin of that HIPP goodnight formula. Before I realised the extent of Williams milk problems. Would you like it? I can send it too you, no trouble. I have no idea if it works, probably not, but I was going to try it. Just let me know if you want it. I shall end up throwing the whole thing away. Shame as it is unopened.

pepperrabbit · 23/04/2009 22:33

x-posts CSWS!

Honeymoonmummy · 23/04/2009 22:34

I don't have a clue who John is BTW. Will someone PLEASE make me go to bed????

ronshar · 23/04/2009 22:34

Sorry I shall try and type faster. But it will be messy

Honeymoonmummy · 23/04/2009 22:35

Right, I'm logging off right now. See you all tomorrow!

ronshar · 23/04/2009 22:35

Go on bugger off. It will take you ages to get up the stairs with your knee creaking

pepperrabbit · 23/04/2009 22:37

thanks for the offer ronshar - I did actually buy some but haven't used it yet as DD doesn't seem hungry at night - more lonely? which sounds a bit sad doesn't it. As soon as I find the dummy and give her back her stroky she's fine, and she'll turn her head straight into the stroky (which is a small pink flat sort of cat ) which is quite cute.
Last night she was woken by DS1 clumping his way to the loo at 4am . I wouldn't mind but he left the light on and the extractor fan noise woke DH and DS2 as well - actually DS2 was probably woken by me hissing viciously at DS1 about the light - I'm not at my most maternal at 4am to malingerers!

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/04/2009 22:37

LOOK AT THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO BED HMM. It will help you to have sweet dreams.

jenwa · 23/04/2009 22:44

Hi All
You have all been sooo chatty today.
I have had lovely birhtday. Been out to a farm today with DH and children and had lovely day and even got a afternoon nap when we got home Dh been fab
My parents just been over andhad afew birthday drinks so off to bed in a mo.

aubergenie you do what you feel works, everyone is so different and you know your baby better than anyone else. People will always judge. I did the whoe not feeding when DD2 was waking but thats because I am evil with no sleep. It worked for us and she is fine, she was putting on weight well as taking loads in the day so she was fine all night without. It is just abour what your child needs and how you feel. congrats to re your nephews, how sweet, hope they are ok.

star how is your sisters baby?

lozza glad the rasberry blowing is working although it is not working on our DD2 she is getting bored now of it I did read about a hlepful hint (not sure if it was on MN) that blowing bubbles over then keeps then distracted but I am not sure i could change a nappy and blow bubbles at the same time without a complete pooey mess

rachel welcome to the group
