It's only happened once before Pistachio!

Is anyone buying the MN Toddler guide? It's reduced by 40% to £7.79 on Amazon. Also if anyone is thinking of getting it, the 100 baby purees book is reduced to £5.

Honeymoonmummy · 14/03/2009 10:10

Oh sorry to hear that Naomi is poorly MyJob! X posts.

Honeymoonmummy · 14/03/2009 10:21

Oh and I finally got one of these, it's soooo soft!

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/03/2009 10:31

I already have the MN book hmm. Bought it for interest to see how it had been written and which quotes were included.

Is it good CSWS? I didn't think you'd be about much this weekend with all your guests? Hope you have a lovely catch-up.

Honeymoonmummy · 14/03/2009 11:05

Haven't found any yet hmm. I'm obv not profound enough!

Guests due to start arriving any min.

Don't buy the book if it's not your first child and you are looking to learn something, but if you just want a light read and a few laughs and to know that others share your problems then go for it .

Ha! Better luck next time, there are a few more volumes due yet! I shall buy it then. What officially is the start of toddler-dom? Is it when they crawl?

Myjob, I know, I balked at the thought of spending so much on a towel, but it's soooo soft and big enough to last a few years. The cheaper baby towels we bought are thin and horrible already.

Honeymoonmummy · 14/03/2009 15:56

Balked should be baulked Anyone else found their spelling/ grammar going to pot???

Honeymoonmummy · 14/03/2009 16:53

To the other DF-ers - can I have anything from a typical Indian takeaway or is it all done with butter?

Marthasmama · 14/03/2009 18:15

Just popping in, you've been chatting loads today so I'll catch up later.
Hmm - it is always best to ask. I'm sure they'll be able to tell you. You might end up with a dry tandoori type dish. Shashlik is good, but I don't know if there's butter in it.

pepperrabbit · 14/03/2009 18:44

oooooh, curry

Honeymoonmummy · 14/03/2009 19:39

Went for Chinese in the end. There's the door now...

star6 · 14/03/2009 19:53

I'm having risotto with mushrooms. I used a little butter. I've not gone totally dairy free in the end, but just cut way down and am cautious of the intake. It has helped Q's digestive system tremendously, though he still suffers quite a bit.

star6 · 14/03/2009 19:53

csws how was your gathering today? When is ours???

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/03/2009 08:17

How was your chinese hmm? I always find that a safer option than indian, partic as the indian dishes that I like are things like butter chicken and korma .

Meet up great. I went to bed at 1 though, took about half an hour to settle, and then ds decided to keep me up from 4:30-6:15, and then start the day at 7.

Most of the others still in bed, but will be making bacon sandwiches once they are up, or toast for the veggies.

myjob - yes, we are finding dd much harder work than ds at the moment.
Actually we talked about you last night. One of the ladies knows someone with a child called 'jobi', so she has always read your name as my jobi's mum . I put her right obv!

hmm - toddlerdom starts when they start toddling . So generally a year upwards (although earlier IME).

Oh and star - I'm quite happy to host a meet up, but not sure that even my house could sleep all of us plus babies, unless you're all up for camping in the garden .

I mentioned you being worried about your ds not being dry at night, because mustrunmore's ds isn't yet and he's 5, and also the fact that you're in Poole, as flamesparrow is nearby. It was Jas who read your name wrong, but she didn't expect you to know her.
