for your sister Fury.

Speaking of which my-not-at-all-D-BIL is coming back to the UK in a couple of months. Not sure if its a visit or for good . My poor Dsis isn't much looking forward to seeing him

We got tomato, chilli and pepper seeds planted up this evening, in propagators/mini greenhouses in the kitchen. And we are looking at getting a proper greenhouse out in the garden

keepingitRia · 08/03/2009 20:07

for your sister fury.

I don't know how I find the time for stuff either TBH, I am unbelievably disorganised (and i used to be so obsessive about housework, time-keeping, everything. Now I'm very as-and-when and I hate it) and usually end up doing everything in a mad panic at the last minute. I don't know if doing the 60 point course might be too ambitious, but I have to try.

of your gardening jammy. I must get organised this week.

TheNatty · 08/03/2009 20:19

oh jammy that sounds great, i would love to have a few veg in my garden. didnt realise u could start this early cool!

keepingitRia · 08/03/2009 21:12

have you all gone?

LackaDAISYcal · 08/03/2009 21:30

I'm here.

had another busy day. got a lie in until after ten this morning then I took DS1 and bumble to a party at the bowling alley. Was dreading it, but the party boys mum had booked a lane for whaichever parents were staying so I've had five games of bowling this afternoon and had a blast. I think the adults had more fun than the kids. DS1 wants a bowling party for his birthday now!

Pumping is going well. I have enough for four full feeds and a couple of top ups so far. Looks like we'll have enough. I'm not worried about the milk or the operation now, but rather how DH will cope with all three DC overnight on his own. Even I've not had to do that yet!!

keepingitRia · 08/03/2009 21:34

it's a doddle daisy co-sleep with the problem ones, and let the oldest lie in bed listening to the Goons on a walkman (although the laughing disturbs the other two!) That's my night tonight.

Can't decide whether DS2 should go back to school tomorrow. He looks awful, keeps getting shivery and dizzy and has a headache, but in between those he is fine and able to bicker and run around. I really think he needs a couple more days, but I don't want him to get used to being at home.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 08/03/2009 22:14

Natty - from what I've learnt reading the backs of the seed packets over the past few years, most get planted outside in a month or two, but these ones get started indoors in the warm and get planted out in a couple of months when it's warmed up out there. We didn't manage much last year, but fingers crossed for a good harvest this summer.

TheNatty · 08/03/2009 22:19

ok great, i might try a little of both, sum straight in the ground some in propergators.

i have antibiotic drops for my eyes, and when i put them in i can TASTE them, its so horrid it makes me retch.

hope this is normal.. in one hole out the other

glad I didn't miss much chat last night.

I stayed up far too late reading my new book, and am shattered today now.

DS2 still not well.

keepingitRia · 09/03/2009 09:08

I have just rung the school to say DS2 is home ill. The HT answered and she has made me feel like a naughty child. FFS

I wonder if it is because DH is proving to be difficult rather than sheep-like on the Governors?

thanks butterfly . I wish when someone replied to an old thread you started you got a reminder or it bumped to the top of your threads I'm on list.....I'd have missed that completely.

his feeding has improved loads butterfly, but he is going to have a whopping great gap between his top teeth I think. I've seen the doc who has said that as feeding has improved we will wait and see what happens; if things get worse then he can refer me. Not sure who to though!

I'm off to suggest something re threads I started to MNHQ.

I tried to give blood tonight but they couldn't get an obvious vein They offered to have a go anyway but weren't very confident at all and I wasn't feeling in the mood to be a human pincushion.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/03/2009 20:26

But I'm going to have the chocolate I'd promised myself as a post-donation treat anyway

keepingitRia · 09/03/2009 21:22

enjoy jammy!

I am feeling very virtuous and am going to have a glass of wine and two cadburys roses. Think I'll pass on the veggie chow mein I was going to make for a late-night snack! This exercising/adrenalin thing - do you lose your appetite jammy?

My book is calling

TheNatty · 09/03/2009 21:23

its my fault cos im such a nightmare to live with atm

keepingitRia · 09/03/2009 21:36

a break might help. I think a bit of tension is understandable after what you've been through recently. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
