Morning all

Amber , I'm thinking about your sister today.

pureeandpearls · 18/03/2009 07:19

Viva- you crack me up!

Can't remember who asked but babypearls has her milk from a sippy cup and has done since she was six months. Is that what you meant or did you mean a proper grown-up cup?

She's also a fan of shrieking Amber, so let me know if you have any luck with the Gin. FWIW babypearls cannot stand Calpol but will suck up Nurofen- sure you've tried switching already. If she wakes in the middle of the night and won't settle I bring her into bed with us, take of her zippy bag and sleep with one arm around her. If S isn't here, then I move his pillows...

People need to stop talking about age. I was walking along Chancery Lane towards a girl who looked like she'd bunked off school- only when she was up close did I realise she was carrying law books. When did students get so young?!!!

Amber- keep us posted on your sister. I'm keeping everything crossed- she needs some luck xxxxxxxxx

Very organised this morning so have started new thread

Heinz, Yes, when you said Sept thread I thought 'which September?' - can't be last sept so must be sept before and that's the one I was on!! Didn't know Poppy was on there too. Thanks Heinz, good luck for August!

Thanks Neenz, great to 'see' you, am very happy for you

BDQ - congrats on your first day. My best thing was that the man that gives out the free city newspaper with all the stocks and shares gave one to me when he had always ignored me before (thinking I was a mummy who wouldn't be interested) so I must be back to my high flying executive best then !

Well what news. My sis had her scan today and would you believe it she still has both twins alive and well! It's a miracle. They couldn't explain it but said that she may well be one of these people who has a heavy 'period' every month (that I didn't believe existed TBH). She is now on the extreme high risk list though and has been told to wrap herself in cotton wool so i'm hoping Sponge can donate some. Totally unexpected but excellent news even in my sleep deprived state!

That's brilliant Amber! Oh, there's a new thread, so I best go and say congrats there!
